Dr. Christensen and his staff are truly wonderful!! I was nervous and quite honestly, do not like dental procedures (who does?). They however, were very patient and gentle with me as well as very informative. They answered all of my questions and helped with my financial concerns. I was in quite a bit of pain and they hurried to work me into their schedule. Im so grateful and highly recommend Utah Oral Surgery...their location is pretty convenient too.

I went to get a tooth extraction of my top molar. I have severe anxiety and was terrified. Assistant Chad (I hope thats his name) was amazing!!! He walked me through what was going on and stayed and talked to me to calm me down before my extraction he was fantastic. Also Dr. Christensen was great very soft spoken and gentle with everything that he had to do to get the hard tooth out. He also communicated with me great to let me know what could happen. He was always there to find the best outcome for me not to just take my money. I will 100% be going back there and my family if they need anything done in the future.P.S. Everybody in the office is so warm and welcoming. Very helpful.

I was VERY nervous for my wisdom tooth removal and they made it so comfortable. My anesthesiologist was very fun and funny which helped calm my nerves a bit. (I was really annoying about the sedation since I have never been under anesthesia before and was asking a million questions, but he was very patient) After waking up, there was no rush to get me out of there at all. They brought my mom and sister in and we all chatted for a bit. Lilly (one of my surgeons) left it all up to me as to when I was comfortable enough to leave & she was super nice and helpful! An after care paper is provided for reference during your recovery, which is very helpful for any questions we have been running into. Overall, a great experience and I would 100% recommend this place if you are trying to figure out where to go. Stop your search now and book your appointment! :)

I heard about Dr Christensen though my work and i am so glad we went to him for both my boyfriend and my daughter wisdom teeth removal. For my boyfriend they were able to fit us in last minute and worked with us since he had no insurance, He developed and dry socket and they were able to get him back in right away to fix it. My daughters is 12 years old and their assistances Sid and Lili made her feel very comfortable and not scared of the process. Overall we had nothing but a great experience from their entire staff both times. Karma, Denise, Dr Christensen and all their staff have shown that they are more then a business. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing to have dental surgery.

Doctor Christensen was awesome on the process I don’t have any problems with him he is a good doctor. However the stuff is horrible. It’s been 8 month since I got my surgery and they still getting the claims wrong or missing information so my insurance cannot do the payments. Every time I call they always say that they have send the information but they never do. They make me paid 200 because if not they would send me to collections even though is the staff fault because they don’t fill the claims correctly. They should get someone that knows how to do the claims because this process is been annoying and exhausted.

I had an Implant from this awesome team Dr. Brian Christensen and Lily were amazing. I didn’t feel anything as he was putting in the implant. Definitely will tell my friends to go see them if they need aany oral surgery 😊

Dr. Bryan Christensen and Dr. McGavin are great, excellent in this type of work. And Carma is beyond helpful. You can call anytime night or day and they are there for you, to reassure and help you. A full dental implant procedure is something else but they excel at it. They answer every question and give you all the necessary information, and I cant compliment Carma enough...there are no words. Fast and on point. Its obvious that they have a lot of experience, and know how to get it done right the first time.My son needed all four of his wisdom teeth taken out. It was marked as complicated because some of the roots literally turned in a 90° angle. He was in and out of surgery in about 30 minutes. Pain and swelling has gone down in 2 days, which I believe is a testament to a good surgeon.They were super good at passing along all the information we needed, and even offered to come in on the weekends if there were any complications (none).I am extremely satisfied with the job that they did for my son.Thanks guys.

My experience with the Utah Oral Surgery office has been great. The staff is helpful and caring. I recently had two wisdom teeth removed, I was nervous but am happy to report it was so easy. No pain, no swelling afterwards!

Nice people but they dont have billing options, so if you dont have insurance youre gonna be paying thousands of dollars out of pocket.

Excellent job. The entire staff was friendly and supportive. The actual procedure was very quick, which is critical for me. They went above and beyond afterwards when I panicked, and helped me get through my anxiety.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out and my experience with the doctor and staff was great. My issue is with the billing department. I owed 65 dollars but the billing department never sent a bill to my home instead they were sending to my work resulting in me never receiving a bill. I didn’t receive any phones either. I only found out about the bill when i was served papers form a collection agency. I called to explain my situation and they told me there was nothing they could do.

I have 3 children that needed wisdom teeth removed. When I first called, the receptionist answered my questions about cost - all of the other places just said “we’ll have to check with your insurance” or they knew nothing of the finance side and wouldn’t even give an estimate. They worked around all our crazy summer schedules and even kept us updated in cancellations so we could get the extractions done. Each child was unique, one has a big gag reflex and they had no concerns working with that. She ended up with dry socket and they got us in right away and dealt with it and she had immediate relief. The surgeries were quick and they were on call for any complications and called to check and see how they were doing the day after the surgery.

My teenage daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Bryan Christensen and it was such a smooth and easy process! The staff was so kind and explained everything in detail and Dr. Christensen answered all our questions thoroughly and took really good care of my daughter. He called later that night to check up on her also-which is an added bonus. I would highly recommend!!!

Utah Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center and Bryan Christensen are true professionals in their treatment and care.I pulled off a dental crown and the attached root canal when eating a sticky candy. I went to a general dentist the next day to hopefully have the crown recemented, but I was told the tooth and root canal had to be removed. I asked the dentist if I needed to see an Oral Surgeon to remove the roots and he said I did not and then rushed me into an hour of traumatic drilling to remove the tooth and roots that left me in extreme pain. While working on the tooth, he also cracked a new crown on the tooth next to the one that he was extracting and crown now must be replaced as well. Even though I had asked if I needed the more skilled care of an Oral Surgeon he was wrong, and clearly, I did. After three days of intense pain, medication that did not help and multiple trips back to the dentist office, I was unable to work, sleep or go about my daily activities.At this point I called Dr. Christensen and his office had me come in that same afternoon. Dr. Christensen did a complete examination, x-rays and had a solution for the trauma that the other dentist had caused in a rush, I believe, for the fee the dentist hoped for in the future. Dr. Christensen immediately went to work treating the extraction site, prescribing the correct medications and and alleviating my pain. Due to the extent of the tissue damage, after the original medication had absorbed the pain from the extraction started again. Dr. Christensen had assured me that I could call him with any concerns and even though it was a Sunday night he met me at his office, retreated the area which again relieved the pain and now the extraction is healing wonderfully. I have a road ahead of treatment that I will only pursue with Dr. Christensen, but I am back to work and doing my normal activities.I highly recommend Dr. Bryan and Steve Christensen for their high degree of knowledge and professionalism.Jolene Shields

Dr. Bryan Christensens work is legendary in the Pacific Northwest. Which is something you all should note, considering he practices in Utah. You see, while vacationing in the Wasatch this past spring, I ventured up Little Cottonwood Canyon and found myself at the summit of Snowbird on a 13 bluebird day. As Im ripping down old Regulator Johnson, I got a little too footloose and fancy-free and dipped my tips down just deep enough to send me into full tomahawk-mode, and BOOM; lunch was served in the form of a masterfully-prepared, dry-aged ski pole. With it, went my perfectly symmetrical face, flawless bone structure, and years of note-worthy orthodontia. I broke a portion of my upper jaw, severely split my lip, shattered my pre-molar and knocked the lateral and canine teeth back, up against the roof of my mouth; Humpty Dumpty had indeed had a great fall.By the time I made it to the clinic at the base, everyone agreed that I would need to go to the ER, so off I went. Upon arrival at Intermountain Medical Center, I was greeted with looks that I can only imagine are reserved for the most-horrific of scenes, and then--I waited; as one does when one visits Emergency Rooms. But alas, to my great fortune, Dr. Bryan Christensen happened to be on-call and waltzed into my room; calm, cool, and collected--giving me the re-assurance that I hadnt become the monster that onlookers faces had suggested. He fully discussed the appropriate steps that would follow, numbed me up, and got to sewing. My lip was a tricky stitch, as it crossed my vermilion border & resembled more of an explosion than a slice. But Dr. Christensens sewing skill was apparent; comparable to the best contestants on Project Runway, Vera Wang, Coco Chanel, or what I can only imagine Doogie Howser must be like today with 25 additional years under his belt--I didnt feel a thing. Dr. Christensen then corrected the placement of my lateral tooth & made a special appt first thing the following morning at his office to do surgery where he could properly splint, re-position, extract, and bone graft using resources that were not available in the ED. The next morning, I show up, got 3D X-rays, figured out the course of action and VOILA: I was asleep. I will say, (and I mentioned this to the staff upon waking up) that I had one heck of an anesthesia-induced galactic adventure with Dr. Christensen and his staff during this surgery, for which I will also give them an A+ grade. When I woke up, I felt good. No pain, and the surgical sites seemed to be in great shape. All in all, a nice little Tuesday. That evening, I had to fly back to the Seattle area, where Dr. Christensen had already spoken with a colleague of his to do the followup appts for my future implant. Dr. Christensen called me that night to check on me, provided me with his contact info if I had any further concerns, and that was the last I saw of him--hopefully to never see him again (but in a good way. Id definitely ski with him, sans face injuries.) His staff has been great. The billing process has been a breeze due to their expertise and guidance, and for a minute there, I even considered flying BACK to Utah to have him do the followup implant procedures. THATS how good the experience was. Since then, Ive had about 10 other appts in reference to this accident and each doctor has explicitly praised the work completed by Dr. Bryan Christensen. I tell everyone in Seattle, daily, about this mythical doctor, who sprung forth from the mountains of Utah to perform his magic. So you see, thats why Bryan Christensen is a Pacific Northwest legend, and will continue to be.I may not have had all the kings horses, or all the kings men, but I didnt need them--I had Dr. Christensen, and he put Humpty back together again.If your face is in pieces, dont think twice--Dr. Christensen will make you look real nice.If your grill is in a bind, and you dont know who to find: Call Dr. C for some guaranteed piece of mind.I could go all day with these...just call Utah Oral Surgery...if you need it.

Best experience!!! If your child is away at College or you are under any time constraints this is an amazing place to have their wisdom teeth removed. Our dentist recommended them to us, they sent over our films over to the office and the visit went extremely smooth. We arrived in the morning and went back promptly the staff was very friendly and the doctor was super nice. My son had no issues after the removal it was a great experience. The procedure itself was so fast, my son had all four wisdom teeth removed. He was feeling better within a couple of days. This office really knows what they are doing, he did not have much pain and did not get any dry sockets.

My jaw was about 4 cm to the right off-centered and pushed forward, which got in the way of eating and made my face look crooked. I came here to get corrective jaw surgery. The entire team is always so kind and welcoming. Dr. Bryan Christensen is the best of the best. He always made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood every aspect of my procedure. The entire process started about two years ago; it started out with orthodontic care, which Bryan referred me to an excellent team over at Redwood Orthodontics for my braces. I loved my visit! Dr. Christensen did a great job at explaining what the plan was for my wisdom teeth. All of the staff from the receptionists to the technicians and nurses were superb. I had my first tooth extracted today in the office. I had a bone graft placed too. I kept waiting for this procedure to be painful. I have to admit that it really wasnt painful at all. I had the procedure done and then went right back to work. Lily was a great assistant and Dr. Bryan was wonderful!

I was referred by my orthodontist to Utah Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center. My daughter needed a few baby and permanent teeth extracted, as well as her wisdom teeth. I thought the operation might be difficult because my daughter has braces but Dr Christensen was great. He was super friendly and made her feel very comfortable. He explained the procedure very well, and made the procedure as painless as possible. He even CALLED ME that night to check up on her and see if we needed anything. Their entire staff was friendly and professional. The assistants were great to explain the post op instructions and what to expect after the surgery. I will highly recommend this office to all of my family and friends!

I came in for a simple x ray and ended up being so impressed with everyone I met, I decided to have my wisdom teeth removed from this office instead of the one I originally intended to use. The knowledge and friendliness of the staff made me feel so comfortable with their abilities, and then when I met Dr. Bryan Christensen I was sold. He took the time to clearly go over my x rays even though I wasnt his patient and explain what they were seeing on the scans. It turned out my procedure would be a little more complicated because of how close my nerves were to the teeth themselves, but he quickly put me at ease by explaining how we could remove them without damaging the nerves. I decided then and there I wanted my procedure done at this office. I scheduled the appointment and when I came back I received the same wonderful treatment. Dr Steven Christensen was the one who actually performed the surgery and he did an excellent job. He was very friendly and came in to talk to me before the surgery to answer any questions I had and walk me through the process. I was nervous walking in but I had no reason to be. I couldnt be happier with my experience and will definitely be recommending this office to everyone I know!

I for one do not like going to any Doctor for any reason, but this lump had been getting bigger and had been bothering me for some time. I am so glad I called your office and spoke with you. I was a little reluctant at first but you wanted me to come in as soon as possible. When I came in I was so impressed with your office staff, they were happy to see me come in and it was very soon after I was in a chair and you came in and examined me.I didnt feel nervous when talking with you and you explained to me in simple terms what you thought it may be and told me it needed to be removed and biopsied. You told me it wouldnt take much time and that you could take care of it right then. That was amazing to me as I thought it would take several visits to get to that point of removing whatever it was. I was impressed with how smoothly it went and the great staff you arranged to assist you in taking care of it so quickly. After finding out it was a cancerous lesion I was relieved I had it taken out when I did, and it was you that prompted me to do it when you did.Now its been a few months and you cant even see or detect where the scar ever was. Work done was fine. Experience as far as billing and insurance is very low was told my work would be covered for wisdom teeth removal with double coverage. When in fact it wasnt. (Not a big deal) But with very small remaining amount owed they are very very urgent to get there money or will send your account straight to a lawyers office to be slapped with $300 in fees. For a very small time frame of not being paid when the insurance company alone takes forever to get everything billed.

My daughter just got her wisdom teeth out! Just this morning! The team did great and we will definitely come back here with all the other kiddos! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and ready to ask any/all questions! And she(my daughter) is doing great, too! We will be back here shortly for my son to have an extra baby tooth that is just floating around removed. Getting my wisdom teeth taken out wasnt as bad as I was expecting. I felt comfortable as soon as I met the front staff, they are all friendly and respectful. I was super nervous about getting an IV to go to sleep, but the office has this numbing spray stuff that made it a piece of cake to get--which I have never seen before?? I made a fool of myself after surgery and the assistants were so nice. They had a good sense of humor, as if we were all bestfriends. Dr Bryan Christensen and Dr Steven Christensen are amazing and down to earth, they really took the time to answer my questions. Dr Christensen even called me after surgery to check up on me. I completely recommend this office!

I came to this office for and extraction and bone graft . They were so friendly as soon as I came thru the door. The Assistants made me feel so comfortable and even got me a pillow to rest my head they could tell I was a bit nervous. Then Dr. Bryan Christensen came in and explained everything that was going to happen in detail (Great Surgeon ) it was only about 30 minutes from start to finish. Recovery was hardly nothing at all. I recently had an implant placed by Dr. Bryan Christensen and I couldnt be more pleased with how the procedure turned out. A block graft operation was required before placing the implant because the bone in the area of the missing tooth was too thin. Dr Christensen called me after the operation to make sure I was healing well and was readily available for any questions I had. I went in and got my wisdom teeth removed, and the surgery went great. I was REALLY nervous and everyone there made me feel so comfortable. I had a lot of questions and they took the time to answer them all. One thing that was really awesome was Dr. Christensen called me that night to check on me and see how I was doing. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. I had an accident and had to have my bone and teeth reset. Dr Christensen was more than helpful. He explained the procedure completely. He made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

I had a molar that was killing me. My face was swollen and I didnt know how they were going to extract it with so much pain already in my mouth.but I got to this office and they were really nice and made me feel very comfortable.(I was so nervous!) The nurse gave me some laughing gas to calm me down. Then the Doctor came in to explain everything that was going to happen he was awsome. They gave me shots in my mouth that was not bad at all! then started taking out my tooth it was so fast I didnt even know they were finished! this office and Doctors are the best!!!! I would recommend them to everyone cause there is nothing worse than having pain in your mouth that you cant do anything about!!!!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful care we received at Dr. Christensen’s office the day we needed immediate care on a facial wound. My two year old grandson fell and split his eyebrow open on a bathtub corner and needed stitches right away. He was in my care as his parents had just flown out of town. I called Dr. Christensen’s office and was able to bring him right over. The staff was amazing. One staff member used her cell phone to help calm him in preparation for the procedure. Another held up his iPad to show him a cartoon while he sat very still in my arms during the stitches. Dr. Christensen was so very gentle and caring through it all. My grandson left with a smile and a bandage. Great experience. Great office.

From start to finish I had an amazing experience. The front desk team, serviced me right away when I walked in, all with beautiful smiling faces. They provided me with a complimentary evaluation to figure out my treatment path, and even let me be my stubborn controlling self while I was trying to make my decision. They got me in asap, and when I got there, the team made me feel so comfortable, that I was as relaxed as you possibly could be having a tooth taken out of your mouth.I would highly recommend this office. Dr. Brian Christensen is awesome, Rachel his assistant equally awesome, and I am embarrassed to say this, but the two ladies (whos name Idk) that helped me check out and get my next apt scheduled are great too.. I am truly blown away at their level of service.Finally their pricing is awesome, I am a cash client, meaning all work done on me has to be paid in cash. They worked with me to make my surgery affordable without dental insurance. Although not ideal to have a tooth removed on your birthday, this was as smooth as of a process as I could imagine

We walked in to see all of the helpful staff’s smiling faces. The waiting room was very nice and clean. We hardly had to wait at all and then we were surprised to learn that the procedure (wisdom teeth,0 would take only about 30 mins which it did. Had all four wisdom teeth removed from here. A few years later I experienced intense pain in the left side of my lower jaw where the wisdom teeth was. Turns out it was a bunch of clear plastic left over from my oral surgery here.There was nothing that could be done except to left all the plastic push itself out of my gums which was extremely painful.

He knows how to treat his patients well, he ensures the best service possible and he regards you as his best friend.Working alongside Dr. Christensen I have heard him say a variety of times If this were my (brother/sister/mother...etc.) what would I recommend? Had all 4 of my daughters wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago and i couldnt be happier! Rachael was the assistant to the surgeon and she made my kiddo so comfortable and was so helpful once she came out of surgery! I would recommend them 100%!

I just have to say that going to the doctor is not always the most relaxing thing to do. But Dr Christensen did a fantastic job of helping me feel comfortable, all at the same time as fixing my problem. Unfortunately I have seen many doctors over the years, but none better than Dr Christensen. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had my orthognathic bi-maxillary osteotomy performed in October, and four months later I couldnt be happier with the results! The recovery period was relatively short and I was back to work within two weeks. Everyone at the clinic is pleasant to work with and genuinely interested in your progress; Dr. Christensen was our top choice when deciding on a surgeon and I am so glad that we chose him and the staff. The entire building is friendly, clean, and very professional, you wont find better in the valley. My new profile is such a drastic but welcomed change, my friends and family have no end of praise for how amazing my new look is, and I am more than pleased with the results!
