I was a dental assistant at pinecrest for 3 months after completing school. Working for Dr. Williams and the pinecrest team was a blessing. Great dentist office. Exceptional staff and Dentist. I broke my front tooth Friday afternoon while eating a slice of pizza. Although it was almost closing time for the office I was seen immediately and my tooth was fixed!! Thanks Pinecrest dental. You are the best!!

I would suggest not going to this dentist office. I have had disappointing experiences 3 different times. 1. Billing is a nightmare at this office. if you have insurance it is really hard to get it paid out. The office didnt know how to communicate with my insurance and did not follow up with me . It took multiple phone calls over the course of 3-4 months to get my account in order. 2. when i ordered my mouth guard they forgot to put the order in to the company that made the mouth guard. they gave me an appointment to come pick it up. when i got to the office they told me they forgot to order it. i was really annoyed because i took time off work for something that could have been avoided with some simple communication. 3. I came back to get my mouth guard fitted properly and for a teeth cleaning. I did not have them take another x-ray on my mouth because i was planning on this being my last visit due to past issues. The dentist informed me during my appointment that i had a major cavity that needed to be filled immediately to prevent a root canal. This was from my x-ray from 6 months ago! How was such a pressing issue not caught when i had work done 6 months ago!? Now they want to charge me $325 to fix it. I am now going to a different dentist office. stay away.

Working as an Admin Assistant for years in Pinecrest Dental is such one of my great experiences. One aspect of my job was to make financial arrangements, and the patients werent an issue. This office was a fun and relaxed place to work. The coworkers were team-oriented and everyone was willing to help with any task that was asked of them. The ability to help you learn without you feeling like youre a bother is what I love. Because it helps you want to ask questions and do things right instead of being afraid. Awesome management. Dr Williams and staff are will trick u by being nice and welcoming when in reality they just want your money! Ive had so many issues with the work I had done here. I had read a review from someone else that had the same issue as me before I started going but the good reviews fooled me! I blindly trusted them. When I told Dr. Williams that the work was done badly and was causing me excruciating pain, he straight up refused to fix the problem. Also the prices here are way higher than surrounding places in the area. I wouldnt recommend them. Do your research and go else where! Not worth the hassle you will go through to work with them.

While I may not be a patient of Dr. Williams (although I would be if I didn’t live in Illinois), I am an avid reader of the blogs and newsletters that he produces on the website and I do know that he and his team are very knowledgeable about the most up to date practices in dental care and that they also care about informing others as well! The content that his team puts together is extremely educational and uses a beneficial life lesson as an example, as well as great information about why your dental health can affect other aspects of your overall health and how you can take better care of your smile! Not all the content is dental-related either, I have read an article by Dr. Williams about book recommendations that encourage personal growth and success! Just by reading the content that they have created, you can tell the Dr. Williams and his team care about each patient that walks through the door, as well as each website visitor, and they do their best to make sure you get the attention and quality care that you deserve! I highly recommend Pinecrest Dental to anyone who needs dental treatment, and even to those who just enjoy reading and learning about a variety of useful information that you can apply to your everyday life to be a happier, healthier, and more successful person!

This office is a nightmare. They lied to me about what my insurance would cover so that I would agree to get more done, the wait times to see the doctor were so long I felt insulted, and then their billing agent decided to text me instead of call to tell me I owed them $400 and said it was because they were too nervous to use the phone.

I probably should have expressed more how deeply disturbed I was at the time but now is fine I guess. I just got home.. it is 4:40 pm. I contacted Pinecrest dental by phone a little before 1:00 p.m after zocdoc gave me a video appointment and I needed to cancel cause that wasnt what I wanted. While I was canceling the man on the phone asked me what the problem was I told him about my daughters tooth pain. I told them that I used premier access medicaid on the phone and they said to come down asap for a squeeze in. I get to west jordan from downtown by about 2:15p.m I start filling out paperwork and in the beginning of that the dentist Tyler Williams had asked me how I heard about them. I told him I googled dentists that took premier access medicaid and thats how I found him. After a brief conversation about if Id ever been to his office before he left me to finish filling out my paperwork. Fast forward to about 2 hours later we finally get back to his office he looks at her tooth and something on the screen and says we can either extract it or root canal it. And I discussed it with him a little bit. And then he says..... after I had been waiting an hour that he doesnt accept premier access medicaid but I can pay out of pocket or with another insurance provider. He also said that zocdoc has referred people to them before saying they take medicaid but they dont. I was in such shock I couldnt say much. But I did say I wish you would have told me that before. And he was just like yeah. Sounded like a welp. And continued to say zoc doc referred me incorrectly but failed to take responsibility for the fact that I was told to drive all the way down there after I told them what insurance I had, they had me fill out all the information including my daughters social security number and really had me wait an hour to tell me they didnt accept my Medicaid. The worst part was that in the beginning of me filling out the application the dentist asked me specifically how I heard about them... I told him I googled dentists that take premier access medicaid and he really didnt stop me right there. He really had me fill out all the paperwork and wait all that time with my daughter to tell us that they dont accept Medicaid. And didnt seem to mind that he wasted time that was not his. Times have been crazy but that was outrageous. And then referred me to another dentist who couldnt see me that day which makes sense cause it was the end of the day at that point. I shouldnt have even told the dentist who referred me cause if they get a cut for referring people that is the most trifling way of doing it. I hope they dont do that to another person. It was a 20-25 minute drive each way for my afternoon to be wasted. I am disappointed in that and I didnt get to express it cause that careless yeah the dentist gave me let me know I wouldnt get any justice there. So here I am leaving a review. I hope this helps someone. I am sure they dont care to rectify this..how could they? Are they gonna give me gas money? What about my time? Anyways. Very weird experience at the dentist.

Dr Williams does an amazing job describing what he is doing. His staff is also amazing to work with. I like how they focus on getting to know their patients. They focus on their patients as individuals rather than patients and their dental problems. They spend time to get to know you. I strongly recommend pinecrest dental to any and everyone!

Dr. Tyler Williams is the worst dentist ever! I’ve had bad dentists before but he is by far the worst one. Paid a lot of money for the work he did on my teeth and when he was finished, I was in a lot of pain! I had to go to a different dentist to fix the VERY bad job that was done! It’s like paying twice the money for something that should have been done right the first time! I definitely do not recommend him for any dental work!

I went into this office in extreme pain with several issues with my lower jaw. I chose them because they were the first open and had great reviews. The personable caring staff was great and conscientious of every concern I had! They got me in immediately due to my severe pain and that was very important to me considering how unpleasant my jaw had become so quickly! Highly recommended!

There is nothing bad I can say about pine crest and their staff. It was a fine experience. I went to get a chipped tooth fixed today and even though they had an emergency patient in, they still made it work to get me in and out in a timely manner. I’ll definitely go back to pine crest. My tooth looks like nothing had happened to it. They did a great job.

I needed a cleaning a few months ago and this place was by my house. I gave it a shot and definitely haven’t regretted it. Today was my second day back and they treated me/remembered me as if I was family. (Do you guys takes notes about your clients?) Awesome place. I would definitely recommend to anybody. I had my appointment and got fitted for the bleach trays. For the past few months, they have been promising to send them to me. 4x I was promised They will go out today Since that last call it has now been 4 weeks. Still nothing. I tried to call today and I was hung up on twice. Each time they just said, Hello? I had to ask if it was Pinecrest. I thought $50 for bleach trays... WOW. That is the reason I bought this particular Groupon. I could have gotten a $25 cleaning and exam. Now I know it was too good to be true. Unprofessional! They have been lying to me over and over again. I am so frustrated. I have gave them months to fix this. How much more do I have to do just to get what I paid for? Now I just want my money back. It is really too bad because when I was actually in the office they were very nice.

These people are so nice, its ridiculous. Needed an emergency visit and while my regular dentist was closed they were more than willing to help us out on short notice. After 10+ years with my other dentist theyve been switching owners and it hasnt fully been the same since. Were moving my whole family 👪 over to Dr Williams. I recently saw Dr. Williams for a braces consultation and brightening my smile overall. He first suggested sealants to protect my teeth as there are many with dark stained deep grooves that are more prone to cavities. He also suggested doing the Six Month Smiles braces. Before doing the sealants, he was able to removed the dark staining in the grooves of my teeth. They look so much more aesthetically pleasing now. My impressions for my braces have been sent out and Im really looking forward to getting my braces on. After my teeth are straightened (6-9 months) I am going to have some veneer bonding work done to make a few more cosmetic adjustments. I have been so pleased with the care I have received at Pinecrest Dental. I would highly recommend Dr. Williams and his team for all your dental care. I was greeted at the front desk by a very cheerful ,helpful receptionist named Campbell. I am a first time patient to Pinecrest. I chose to use Dr. Smith as my dentist. She was very down to earth explained everything in detail with pictures. The hygienist was awesome she did a good job. They have a very professional clean ,pleasant atmosphere.

I just had my first visit with his company and I have to say it went really well. It was fast and the staff was great!! They all make you feel comfortable while being in the chair. I would highly recommend him for a dentist if anyone needs one!!! 5 Stars!! His assistants are GREAT!!!

Great friendly staff! The technology is very modern and they can show you your teeth on their TV so that you can get a better understanding of the procedures. So far, Ive only had cavities filled, but it was painless. Dr. Williams is a very competent dentist who is willing to address any questions.

I actually found them pretty affordable considering the work they do. I was very self conscious about going to ANY dentist after such a long time, but these guys were fantastic!They made me feel very comfortable and during the exam I didnt feel like I was being judged. They were very open and upfront about what I would owe, and what insurance would pay. I highly recommend them.

The aesthetic of their offices curb appeal is a little divey. I did not know this office would be in what appeared to look like a basement. To my surprise it wasnt relevant to a basement at all. Although there reception Area looks a little outdated the rest of their office is really cute and modern.Being a new patient they gave me a water bottle filled with goodies that are much needed and Im supposedly gonna receive a $25 gift card, which is pretty cool. The reviews from google show their rapport and paint a pretty picture. The doctor is nice and she is knowledgeable.However I only came in for a cleaning and X-rays in which I knew would be covered at 100% I received a treatment plan with a balance of around $72 in which I questioned but saw it included fluoride varnish and a cancer screening. Although fluoride varnish can be helpful it is optional and I felt it was pretty pushed on for profit. There also was a sign that said they wanted your experience to be comfortable and that they provided headphones etc but when I requested them I was told the amenities were not provided for my room, which was such a let down. Therefore the minus of a star.I appreciated that they were very patient and kind to me as I was a new patient and could get me in for same day treatment. Overall, I did make an appointment to come back and would recommend this dentist.

For 35 years my dentist was my brother-in-law who provided great dental care. I drove 40 miles one way to receive treatment from him but it was always well worth the drive. When my brother-in-law retired, Dr. Williams purchased his practice. This was an unsettling time for me and as I considered what to do, my first thought was to opt for convenience and find a local dentist even thought Dr. Williams was highly recommended by my brother-in-law. After much deliberation, I decided to retain Dr. Williams as my new dentist. I have not been disappointed. The care I have received from Dr. Williams over the past two years has been on par with the care I previously enjoyed. I miss the great family discount I used to receive, but I continue to receive the care I desire.

I would really recommend Pinecrest Dental. The staff is very personable and their skill in dental matters is very noticeable. I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed and It was performed really quick and rather pain-free. They make sure you are doing well with recovery and give you as much good information as you need to maintain good dental health. I have never really felt anything but apathy in regards to my dentist but I am genuinely glad to have found this dental office. I plan to stick with them for future dental care.

I have been to a different Dentists & most of the Doctors were rude & judgey! So far, I love this place, I was nervous but everyone makes me feel so comfortable. Dr. William did a great job, I’d say he has a hand of a Dentist, most dentist I went to has heavy hands I don’t know the term is but not this Dr. his hands are so light & gentle when doing the work and always lets you know what his doing next and what exactly his doing, so you can actually brace yourself lol. So I recommend going here nowhere else!

I came to Pinecrest because it was close to my work. That was a mistake. I’ve had issues with the same crown 3 times now having to be redone. Dr. Williams supposedly fixed it. Yet 2 months later it popped out right where the partial implant was built up. The first time I came back the crown was covered but the new buildup wasn’t so I had to pay 200 something. Then they tried to do the same thing this last time and I told them I should not have to pay for what was not done right from the beginning. Having to take now almost 12 hrs for one crown of time off work to be charged for something that should last more then 2 months. They ended up not charge for the build up but I shouldn’t have had to argue to get them to change their mind. But it was now a new dr. Third ones the charm so far.

I love the environment at Pinecrest Dental. Dr. Tyler Williams is amazing at educating patients and is a fantastic Dentist. The whole staff makes me always feel so special and welcomed. The office feels like home away from home!

This dental office is by far the best I have found. I walked in one day to get a quote on some dental work my mother needed but was not planning on getting her treated there. In all my years of going to the dentist and having the office call and give me a reminder of an upcoming appointment this office was the most awesome. Cambell, the lady that calls is so over-the- wall nice. She calls and reminds you of your appointment plus in detail tells you what your coming in for and exactly how long it will take and asks if you have any questions etc. She is so friendly and nice that you cant wait to go to your appointment as she seems like an old friend inviting you to dinner. Her smile is as big as a house and makes you feels so welcome when you walk in the door. Totally takes any anxiety you may have away. I have to admit I am scared of the dentist. After my first visit here Im not. From the moment I walked in I was treated with friendly and caring service. The staff didnt treat me like a patient number but like a friend. I would recommend them and have to anyone I know looking for someone who not only will do a great job nut will make the whole process as stress free as is possible.

My wife and I discovered Pinecrest Dental when she had an abscessed tooth. We were looking for a dentist who was open on Saturday and could get us in. We were both very impressed with how we were treated by the office staff and by Dr. Williams. We decided that day to switch from our former dentist to Pinecrest. We are both very impressed with the entire staff and have started telling family and friends about Pinecrest. So grateful we found you guys!

I highly recommend Pinecrest Dental. The way they treat patients is amazing. Everyone is very nice and they make you feel well taken care of. They definitely know what theyre doing, you wont be disappointed!

Update on my initial review:I was contacted by Dr Williams who had learned about my frustration and apologized about it. He explained to me some of the reasons why the retainer was not a perfect fit and reassured me that he would make sure I receive them promptly and offered to provide me with an extra set free of charge. I had been going to the Dental office for 10 months for at least twice a month and I want to say that other than my frustration about the retainers ( that Dr Williams was not aware of ), I had nothing to complain about. I had a great experience with the staff as a whole even with some of the newest addition to the team such as Lucas. Most of the team members knew me by name and like I said before, the Dentist and owner is great at his job and extremely passionate about oral health and care. If you are looking for a personable dentist that you can trust, Dr. Williams is the guy and if you ever encounter any issues with Pinecrest Dental, I recommend talking with him directly to sort things out.

The entire staff at Pinecrest are professional as well as friendly and helpful. Dr. Williams is thorough in his treatment of dental procedures. I am satisfied with pretty much everything about Pinecrest Dental.

We are from out of state and needed some emergency help with my daughters braces. The folks here were so quick to get us in and the office plus staff are incredible. Its like going to a spa for your teeth. And everyone is just so nice. Wish they were in our town!

Dr. Tyler Williams and his staff are so amazing. They have been so kind, honest and understand with me and my son. I have had a lot of dentist in the past lie to me about what work I needed to have just to get me to spend money, and have staff that didnt understand billing.Tylers Team knows what they are doing. If you want, honestly, kindness, and fun, come to Pinecrest Dental. Katy will talk to you about your insurance and options and explain everything clearly so you understand. I just had to get a root canal because of the cruddy dental work done in this office. He told me I needed to replace a relatively new crown which I now doubt. He did almost none of the work. His hygienist did it instead. She was training another hygienist while she worked on me and she taught him how to cut corners like wiping off excess cement with a tissue instead of cleaning it off with a tool. This leaves your mouth full of cement stuck in your teeth. Then when she stuck on the temporary crown she used a massive amount of cement (and instructed her trainee to do the same) which made that traumatized tooth much taller than all the teeth around it. When I chewed for the next week the only tooth that could make contact with my upper teeth was the one with the temporary crown. I was practically screaming with pain by the end of the week. I called my brother who is a dentist on the other side of the country. He told me if I didnt get it fixed pronto it would kill the tooth and Id have to get a root canal. I went back and the dentist looked in my mouth for a whole two seconds after cheerfully informing me I must feel like Id been punched in the mouth all week. Then he handed me back over to the same girl WHO DID THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN. He did not check her work either time. I went home and called my old dentist immediately. He fixed it that same day. Pinecrest sent me constant mail for months and months offering me freebies if Id come back. Even one PRE-PRINTED card saying, We know not everything is right in our office. Come back! He could offer to pay off my house and I still wouldnt go back. My tooth did indeed die. My root canal was completed today. I would not recommend this dentist.

Z-Best staff, Dr. Dentist, that I have met. felt very much like Family right when walking in, heck my family is the Pinecrest Family now. I love that they call you and ask how you are feeling. They call you and want to know who you are. I love how they all talk to you like they grew up with you. They are really great with kiddos, they made my 4 year old have the best experience possible. Been going here for several years and have enjoyed the friendly staff and Dr Williams from day one. Dr Williams has the most up to date equipment Ive seen and that little gum vibrating gadget makes the lidocaine shot painless. They are the Best!

I recently had an abscessed tooth which resulted in 2 nights of little/no sleep due to extreme pain. On Friday, I called Pinecrest Dental & they kindly made an appointment to see me the very same day. The tooth extraction (in preparation for a future impant),went as good as could be expected. Pinecrest uses state of the art equipment. The office staff is friendly & professional. Dr. Williams is a very talented-gifted dentist.

Always friendly, sweet people! Gets all my work done timely and more so pain free! They check on you and make sure you are comfortable! Takes the fear out of going to the dentist! Simply the best! Awesome sauce on the French fries!

The staff are friendly, professional and are able to work around my chaotic schedule with early morning appointments or late afternoon appointments. Everything has been wonderful since we started coming 6 months ago. Will update as I go more.

I went to Pinecrest Dental for the first time yesterday. From start to finish, I was treated to a really great experience. The entire staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and interested in what I had to say. There is truly a cozy feeling that exists here that makes you feel like you are at home. The hygienists did a wonderful job explaining every procedure and tool they were using during my cleaning/check-up. Dr. Williams taught me several things that I didnt know about my teeth and may even get me to floss someday. (Maybe.) Going to the dentist is still not my favorite thing in the world, but with these guys, I can definitely handle going every six months. I would recommend them to friends, family, enemies, and everyone in between. Thanks guys!

Dr. Williams and the staff at Pinecrest are absolutely fantastic! I love how up to date they are on the latest dental trends and the way they take care of their patients is second to none! I reccomend that all of my friends and family come here because they are the best!

We love coming to Pincrest dental. I bring my two girls, and they love Dr. Williams. The staff is always nice, and I love the text/email appointment reminders. They are clean, and very friendly. If you are looking for a great dentist in Murray they are the best!!

Dr. Williams is the man and his hygienists are awesome. Good people who definitely know their stuff and theyre super helpful when explaining/addressing concerns and needs. However, the front desks customer service is terrible. Seemed like they looked down at me and when explaining prices, they were super condescending. Also not very professional when I tried to reschedule an appointment, with the response Okay well why dont you just call us when your schedule isnt so busy while laughing. Theyre the first thing you have to deal with upon entering the office, first impressions matter. I will definitely never go back.
