Outstanding dentist and practice. I started here a couple months ago, and have had my cleaning and just had two fillings replaced (which was long overdue). From the cleaning to the replacement fillings, it was the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had.They embrace tech, keeping digital photos of your teeth, focusing on problem areas, for comparison on subsequent visits. And they are very good at communicating costs and explain how to best maximize dental benefits, if you have any.I am very, very impressed. Best dental practice I have ever been to. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about this dentist office. Dr. Choi and his staff really focus on taking care of you and ensuring you have the best possible experience. Karen, at the front desk, was very helpful in scheduling my appointments, obtaining and verifying my insurance coverage prior to my first appointment, and even offered to call me if anything sooner opened up.The hygienist, Nina, is fantastic. She is easy to talk to, ensured I was comfortable the whole time. She was very thorough in her explanations and gave me great insight in to what I can do to improve my dental care at home. She took the time to review my previous visit, notify me of any changes that she noticed, and listed out the recommended care and cost to me after insurance for that visit and future ones.Dr. Choi is very upbeat, funny and seems to really love what he does. He joked about my prolonged gap in visiting the dentist, but didnt make me feel bad. He instead took the time to explain the importance of additional appointments and note any changes.They make going to the dentist actually enjoyable! I highly recommend them!

I had an overall fantastic experience here. From the front office, the billing, the hygienist and the dentist. They were friendly, efficient and VERY caring. The hygienist was the best Ive ever experienced. I believe her name is spelled Nina. Dr. Choi also talked to me about various possibilities with my teeth. He took his time and was very attentive to my situation. My neighbor referred me, and she said shes been telling everyone about how great the hygenist was too.I could not have asked for a better overall experience at a dental office. I will gladly let Dr. Choi work on my teeth when the time comes. For now, Ive scheduled cleanings three times per year instead of two.

I am giving the review for Dr.Choi and his staff after a month of my Visit. Due to my change of insurance, I was looking for a good dentist near by and somehow found that this doctor has a nice rating from everyone. I was skeptical though, but went through all the reviews and finally decided okay let me move ahead with him. They have a small and nice office, they made sure that people are checked for Covid symptoms before entering.My expectation was not wrong, he and his staff are really nice people. The best part I liked about him is he is so patient, professional and friendly and then explains each and every single point very clearly. Shows you the details of the work and explains the things, he will make sure that we ask all the doubts and gives good attention and gives the answers. I did get a filling he did it nicely. During my last visit I just wanted to meet him for some questions - he made sure that I got all the answers and took time to explain them clearly. (Which I dont see in others at times).I got a deep cleaning done and I believe the hygienist was Nina and she is also very good and professional, friendly and gives all the attention to the people.The front desk staff are also very nice and co-operative, they used to call back or answer any time to give the information , when I had to call them.So for any dental appointments you can visit this doctor.

I went in terrified as I hadnt been to the dentist in years but even from the very first phone call all the way through to the end of my first appointment I interacted with the friendliest staff Ive ever seen anywhere and Im not even kidding. As a fresh college graduate in my early twenties I had no idea what I was doing or where to even begin but they walked me through the entire process and even helped created a multi-phase plan to get me where I need to be. Im honestly excited for my next apportionment so I can begin treatments for the things Ive been putting off for years. 5/5

Dr. Choi is the best dentist who has the magical and soft hands and personality to be able to make any patient calm and peaceful while dental treatment is completing all the way through. He is very honest and sincere when he provides advice to the patient regarding patient’s teeth issues. I am super- satisfied with his work. I had the best experience going to Community Smiles! From the front desk to the Dentist and on to Aftercare I was treated with kindness and expert care. Dr Steve was patient with all of my questions and made sure to control my pain during treatment. I used to be scared to go the dentist but not anymore. I can honestly say Dr Steve from Community Smiles is the best dentist Ive ever had. My experience was so good that I had to write this review and share it with everyone.

Dr. Choi and all staffs are the best! I was a scared big child but Dr. Choi explained all my questions very kindly and he did better job than other dentists I’ve visited. Less pain and less time. Other staffs were so kind and relieved me from my fear. I got a cleaning from Vicky and she was so good and friendly. I’m definitely coming back in 6 months for a cleaning. Overall, I had the best dental clinic experience and I highly recommend this place !

I went to this practice once when it was with the previous owners, then my second visit was when Dr. Choi took over. I had previously gone to another dentist but had to change due to a change in insurance. Being someone who always reads reviews before selecting a provider I was nervous at my first appointment with Dr. Choi, and not knowing what to expect. That was well over a year ago now and I can’t believe I ever had that hesitation. He is an AMAZING dentist, who truly cares about his patients, he takes the extra time to explain what is happening to make sure you understand. I’ve brought up minor concerns at my cleanings and I almost always get a text the next day reminding me to call back about those issues if they continue to bother me. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference. I also noticed on his business card that he has a masters in public health (which I do too) and personally I think that just adds to him being so personable and friendly, and not just pushing treatments to make money. I have never been happier with a dentist or medical provider in my life. I now drive from Riverview, FL too see him and always encourage my friends to go see him. Everyone else at the practice is great as well!! I just love having a dentist who I feel I can trust, is honest and also can crack a good joke! Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist in Tampa!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Choi and his wonderful staff. The office is easy to locate in Tampa. The office is a warm inviting place to be, and they have a Keurig with many drink options. They provided me with a treatment plan that was easy to do and stick with. The staff takes great care of you and you can tell they enjoy their job and the pleasant atmosphere. I cannot recommend a doctor or staff more than I can recommend Dr. Chois dental center.

I just moved to the area to retire from Philadelphia PA. I had an urgent need to find a dentist. I googled and found Dr. S. Choi I explained to the receptionist that I dont have a dental insurance she explained that they are currently offering discounts to new patients. I was accommodated the following day. Dr. Choi worked out with me giving me a big discount to help me with my situation. He apparently stayed in my country Philippines and said he would like to help Filipinos like me. That was an amazing gestures and appreciates cultural diversity.Very knowledgeable and very thorough with the process. I highly recommend Dr. Choi with his expertise you will leave his office with smile in your face even after tooth extraction.

My wife and I both started this month with Dr. Choi and we are very satisfied with their care. The office is conveniently located, easy to find, very clean and well organized. Dr. Choi has created a practice that is very up to date in terms of technology. It is well staffed with caring and knowledgeable professionals. Dr. Choi has a great personality and we both enjoy talking with him about our teeth and other things. Some reviewers say its like family ... hmmm, maybe even better :)Nina recently joined Dr Chois team as a hygienist when Vicky retired. My first appointment was last month and I was very pleased with Ninas manner and her work. I have a pacemaker, so the scrapping had to be done manually. Gentle but thorough. I highly recommend Nina.

I have a pretty severe phobia of dental/medical appointments and had been putting off work that I needed for a long time. If youre in the same position: go here. My friend finally talked me into going to this specific practice, based off their own experience. And Im so glad that I did. I cant tell you how different it was from previous experiences Ive had. Extremely good service and really seem to care about their patients. Both the hygienist and the dentist were very considerate and made sure I understood what was happening and why, without making me feel bad. Im recommending them to all my friends, whether they need something routine or something more in depth.
