I have been coming here for many years now and have found a home, of sorts. Receptionist, Heidi, always greets you with a smile and, somehow seems to remember you even if you come only twice a year. Dr. Pomerantz is gentle, his soft spoken approach puts you at ease, and he doesn’t try to “sell” you work... in fact, he offers alternative ways to resolve an issue and is very conscious of expense.I have now retired and my insurance doesn’t cover this office. His prices are very reasonable and so I find I don’t need to change and find a new home.

Update 6/21! The Dentist still does excellent work and the Hygienist was charming,but the staff at the Front Desk/Billing had such a nasty condensending attitude when I questioned a charge on my Bill that in my professional opinion is not good for business! 5 stars to 3! Extremely professional office. When in the chair how I was faring with whatever procedure was occurring was of prime importance. I was comforted by getting an explanation of what was to come next. Before leaving the chair a description of what was go on during my next visit was relayed to me.After each visit what were the total charges; what my insurance company was going to pay for; and what was going to be my part to pay was carefully explained.Oh! And the video camera that was used to show me an errant tooth was truly valuable!

I’ve had some minor stuff done (2 deep cleanings) and Michelle took the time not only to make sure I was ready when the Dr. walked in with the needle to numb me up, but to make sure I was ok throughout the entire process. The office staff has had multiple turnovers in 2 years. Their billing/payment department or office manager quotes you a set payment plan or amount in writing on paper and then demand you pay more AFTER you have paid your responsible amount up front!!! They then use hostile tactics to try to collect a balance and are rude rather than trying to come to an amicable solution. There are MANY other offices who wont treat you in this manner and have more etiquette. Save yourself the trouble.

Ive been going to Dr. P since the late 90s. I live in West Palm now and still go to his office in Tamarac. Dr P runs a good practice. He is very easy going and not intimidating. Dr P is a good and honest dentist. Over the last 8 or 10 years, Michelle has been my hygienist. You are not going to find a better hygienist than Michelle. I would recommend Dr. P, Michelle and his practice to anyone.

My family has been going to Dr. Pomerantz for several years now and we love it. We dont have to wait to get in and the staff is so nice. The office is very modern with all the latest equipment. One thing I really appreciate about the doctor is that he only does the work that is necessary. He is honest and cares about his patients. Once my crown did not fit right so he just had another one made with no cost to me. I love that when I have to get numb the shots dont even hurt hes so good :) He doesnt use any junk metals in his fillings or crowns and he can tell you what everything is made out of. Give him a try I think youll like him.

Honest. It is really a shame, but I have seen there are many places that will convince you to do all sorts of un-needed procedures just so they can generate revenue. This is NOT one of those places- they have old-school integrity in everything they do.
