I have found the staff at sage of tamarac to be helpful, professional and caring. I have tried many dental offices since moving to Florida. This is definitely the best Ive been to.They schedule appointments so you never sit around waiting. The staff is stable so over time, they know you and your needs. I have seen a remarkable improvement in my dental health. I highly recommend this office.

Horrible service appointment with Sage Dental Of TamaracOn Thursday, August 12th I visited the Tamarac office, for the first time. I was completely disappointed with the lack of professionalism & lack of quality service I encountered. So much so, that I had to leave the office without having a cleaning because the Hygienist was rude, condescending & failed to follow the Dentist’s instructions & my request for a basic cleaning.The dentist suggested a deep cleaning & I said I could not afford that at the moment, maybe next time that I just wanted a regular cleaning, as is included in my dental plan. She (The Dentist) advised that would be ok but the hygienist, who is supposed to follow the Dentist’s instructions, refused to perform the basic cleaning. She went on to say that she was going to get the bone and gum pocket graphs & was going to do whatever she deemed appropriate. She stated that she was going to proceed with what she wanted to do & would submit it to the insurance & see what additional costs they could apply. I could not believe that I was literally debating what service I was going to get for something as basic as a regular cleaning. As she refused & nobody else stepped in to assist, I refused to be treated & had to get up & walk out.I will be filing a Complaint with my insurance company & will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am also going to post a review on Google & Yelp letting everyone know not to visit this location. I was a patient a few years ago in the Coral Gables office & they were excellent. It is a shame that you have medical professionals who are not professional at all & clearly do not have the best interest of the patient in mind. **Update this office never ever reached back out to me nor by phone or email even after I left a survey of my complaint. That speaks volumes. ** That’s unprofessional period **

This was an amazing experience from the moment I called to book my appointment to the end of my procedure. My dentist and her assistant were friendly and made me very comfortable. They were even singing (or humming the radio songs)😊😊. I will definitely go back and will recommend them to friends and family.

Office Manager Solange Was Very Rude To The Assistance Trevea She Threatened Her Job In Front Of Me And Other Patients And It Made Me Feel Very Uncomfortable You Can See The Hurt In Trevea Eyes I Felt So Bad Because Trevea Just Mentioned To Me How Great Of A Manager She Was

Prior to my recent visit at this office, I would have given the office and staff four stars. But my most recent visit here changed my view point, after having an unpleasant experience with the Office Manager of this office, Solange. She refused to give me her last name, citing that she is the only office manager at this site and she has been in this career field for eight years. On this particular day, I had oral surgery and proceeded to the front desk to take care of the payment. I was discussing payment with one of the front desk assistants when the office manager interrupted and began speaking to me without eye contact and eyes fixated on computer screen. She rudely informed me of a procedure I had at a previous visit which my insurance did not fully cover. But she did so as if I knew this information already. I asked her if she could address me in a polite and professional manner, as I was in pain just having undergone a surgical procedure. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she did not exemplify the behavior fitting for someone in her position.

Amazing office. ..the receptionist....the assistants.....and especially Dr Perkins....she did a wonderful job on my chip tooth.....what a perfectionist....thank you very much...

The manager at the Tamarac office was not empathetic with our situation. She was more concerned about making money than protecting their own employees and other patients. My two younger boys had fever last night. I decided to call to reschedule my daughter’s appointment. I did not want to put other people in danger. When I called, she told me that I will have to pay a $50 fee for canceling my appointment. I explained her that I did not know whether or not we were dealing with COVID-19, but SHE DID NOT CARE! Her response was “I CANNOT PROMISE THAT THE SYSTEM WILL NOT ASSESS THE FEE BECAUSE WE RESERVE A WHOLE HOUR TO DO YOUR DAUGHTER’S TREATMENT AND EVERYONE HERE IS WELL PROTECTED” She was obviously not concerned about her employees and other patients. I had to drive to the office for them to see my child and myself not feeling well and the doctor send us back home. I just cannot believe that I had to take my daughter to her appointment even when she was feeling sick. I will definitely change my kids from this office once my daughter’s treatment is completed. I hope they change this cancellation policy specifically when is related to COVID-19!!!

The Dr. At Sage are pretty down to earth. I cant remember my Dr name at the moment but he is reallyCool and his medical assistant is Awesome. She really makes you feel comfortable she not one of those in and out assistant she really takes the time to make sure you understand everything. And she pretty funny as well...Thanks Sage.......

The young ladies at the front were very pleasant. The young lady who took my X-rays was also very pleasant. The only concern I had with my visit was the hygienist who preformed my cleaning. While I was getting my teeth examined by the dentist, the dental hygienist was standing behind me talking. When the dentist when done I turned around and the hygienist was in the room the entire time talking WITHOUT A MASK on! I didn’t have a mask on because I am the patient getting my teeth examined. How could you walk in a room where a patient has their mouth wide open and you not have on a mask, we are in the middle of a pandemic. Now this hygienist has put me at risk which is unfair to me as the patient. Then she walked through the office without a mask as she guided me to her station. Then she continued to open the instrument she was going to use on me without wearing a mask. When she was starting my cleaning she FINALLY put on a mask. This concerns me that they may not be using CDC guidelines.

Great place, great customer service, they take times out to explain things to you so you get the understanding, i would recommend anyone to Sage Dental in Tamarac. My daughter has been to many dentist and its the first she had ever told me that she was so pleased and overwhelmed because its the best cleaning she had ever had so i want to say special thanks to Lucia she did my daughter’s cleaning and my cleaning and i am so pleased.

Staff was vert helpful, explained what need to be done and cost

I went there on Thursday for a cleaning. I was first told it would be $405. I didnt understand that because I have insurance. They then came back and told me it would be $80. I agreed to that, but in the middle of of the cleaning, a lady came in and told the hygienist that the price is actually $178 then left the room. The hygienist asked me if I wanted to continue and I said yes because we were almost done. When done I asked that lady why $178 when I was told and agreed on $80. She said because my insurance have a waiting period. I was not aware of this when I signed up. I asked the lady why she did not tell me this before I started my cleaning and she said because they just was checking it when I came. I had provided my new insurance last month to them and verified with them a week before cleaning if they have my updated insurance, so Im not sure why they couldnt check it before my appointment. I told the lady that I will only pay the $80 that I agreed on. She told my that my account would go to collections if I dont pay the whole thing but she took the $80 and felt the insurance is at fault. I feel they both share the blame and I will now be done with both of them.

I scheduled an appointment with them leaving all my insurance information. Once I got to the appointment they told me they dont accept my insurance. I had to wait 1 week for the appointment and they never get back to me to notify me. What a waste of time.

This was my daughter’s first dental visit, so she was very scared and nervous, But the front desk ladies made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Miguel did the cleaning and he was the best !!!! Visit was not very good for my son. However I do have a concern about the cleanliness of the areas. My son had a contraption put in his mouth while they cleaned his teeth however when the hygienist finished using the contraption the tech took the device and just hung it up. No cleaning or removing it she just put it away. Also the Hygienist asked the technician to grab an item she needed and tools from another room tech grabbed items requested by hygienist and walked them into the room exposed. I think this practice is following general covid guidelines but on doing that I think they have forgotten about general ADA guidelines when handling equipment and patient care. It was so many things that this office did not do when it came to patient care. They made my son a followup appointment but he definitely wont be going back.

I was injured from an auto accident and went to sage dental for my dental exam. The staff was so considerate in helping me around their dental office. And the dentist at Sage Dental was very thorough and found a better and less expensive solution in dental work I had done in the past. Sage Dental was great. I have been all over the world and this?dental office was very impressive!

The office is charging a $10 fee for equipment upgrade for every visit, I was schedule two appointments two different days. Why should I pay for every visit plus any copay I have to pay. This is just not right as a consumer. I been a client for 3 years but this is just not right. Make sure you call and ask before you go. They will use the term copay, on the door it state equipment upgrade.

Very professional, they did a great job explaining profound insurance coverage, no surprise costs and dental hygienist Suki did a great job making me feel at ease while she was performing her treatment.

Chose Sage because they accepted my insurance. The staff is friendly service was great. Dr. Perkins is awesome at explaining whats wrong and the plans to fix. Front office made sure I got my treatments. I wont say they were pushy but they are excellent at getting the treatments done as quickly as possible. Got my first treatment done on the same day as my consultation. I was scheduled for the next appointment before I left the first one. I was asked to come in the next day but my schedule was booked so I booked for the following week. Since my schedule freed up I called to get in the next day. One treatment was to be split in 2, I guess someone cancelled because they offered I get the second half done right after. I got a consultation and 3 treatments done in 2 days. Before I left the second day my next appointment was booked. I didnt mind any of this as Ive been wanting to get things done for awhile now. I was told I had great insurance that didnt place a maximum on how many treatments I can do in one day. Like I said they are great at getting the money. With that being said I know i wasnt offered or given any unnecessary treatments. I think Ill be with them for the foreseeable future.

Sage Dental is a quality dental office and everyone on staff makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Dr. Perkins was great! She explained what was needed to correct my certain teeth and explained my options. I have found a new dental office that I will be going to for years to come.

I really enjoyed my first visit!! My last dentist was ok, but Sage Dental is great!

Dr. Perkins was gentle, patient, professional and friendly and thats what this Nervous Nelly needed. With state-of-the-art equipment and efficient staff, they can get several procedures done in one day. I have GBS. When I told Dr. Perkins she immediately did some research to find out what numbing injection was safe for me. Wow! I dont know if any dentist would have taken the time to do that, but I knew then that I was in the right place.

After first visit, the doctor told me that I have to do a deep cleaning, so made an appt for 2 weeks later at 4pm. One day before the appt. contacted me said the patient before me canceled the appt and to see if I could be there earlier, I required time off only for 3 hours so I said I can only be there at 3:30pm. Then in the morning of the appt day, they called me again said because the hygienist wanna get off work earlier and can only see me at 3pm otherwise I have to reschedule. It is quite rude that they demand the patient to coordinate their schedule in very short notice and I wasted of my PTO. Don’t respect patients’ time at all.

Our hygienist, Joanna is so sweet and is great with kids! My daughter looks forward to going to the dentist because of the kind hygienist and dentist.Dr. Azin takes time to explain and show reason for work needed before scheduling fillings. We have had a very pleasant experience here.

I can say I truly had a great experience at Sage Dental in Tamarac. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and really didn’t feel it the Doctor and staff excellent.

This was my first visit at this location and I must say it was THE BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. Dr. Perkins was simply the best. Her bedside manner exceeded my expectations. She was attentive, caring, informative and anticipated my specific needs based on her assessment and my feedback. I actually WANT to go to the dentist now. Tomorrow I’ll have my cleaning with Suky - let’s see how that goes.

Today was my first encounter with the dental office, the receptionist was pleasant. The person who did my xrays was really rough, I waited about 30 minutes for a cleaning. Suky did my cleaning, she was also very rough and not as pleasant as front office staff.

I love all of the staff always very friendly and helpful. The new design of the office is a plus also!

Sage Dental is overpriced (in comparison to other dentists) and the different offices arent aligned (make an appointment at one office and they dont communicate with their sister offices.) I will not and do not recommend anyone going to Sage Dental. Do NOT let Sage Dental overcharge you for ANY service. I strongly recommend Plantation Oral Surgery & Dental Implants if youre getting your wisdom teeth removed. Theyre thorough, will charge you appropriately according to your insurance provider, and will provide top tier service and care.

I really enjoyed the staff and the surgeon explaining everything to me.Having the Dr Seidel checking on me after the tooth extraction with a phone call 4 hours after was unbelievable. It reminded me of back in the day in the small towns where doctors genuinely cared.

I’ve been using Sage Dental for several years now since relocating to South Florida and would definitely recommend them 10/10. I’ve been a patient at two different practices and both had excellent customer service and practitioners. I recently switched to Sage Dental of Tamarac because it was closer for me and the quality of service still remains the same. They are very thorough and will have me as a patient for years to come!

Dr. Mina at Sage Dental is exceptional. She listens to what you want, discusses alternatives and ramifications of various procedures, and in the end does whats necessary to accomplish your desires within your financial means.I had an awful experience with 2 previous dentists who didnt listen to what I was saying. As a result, the first one caused a complete change in my bite, followed by the second one exacerbating the problem (rather than listening to what I was saying to fix it).After suffering for several years trying to eat and talk properly, I happened upon Sage Dental through my insurance company. What a blessing Dr. Mina has been! She changed my smile, bit, and ability to talk back to what it once was.I was so satisfied with her accomplishments, that I took my grandson to her. He has an overbite, but because of his beat-boxing career, does not want braces. Dr. Mina made her suggestions, discussed the ramifications, but ultimately understood his wishes. When the day comes that he changes his mind, we will certainly be back to Dr. Minas trusted expertise.I highly recommend Dr. Mina and her staff!

This dental practice is very professional, polite, and informative. My only complaint is having to make two appointments, one for the doctor and one for the cleaning. But, I will say that the attention from the doctor is great.

The Hygienist and Dentist were very helpful and professional, however the front staff is clueless. They are really bad at following up with you and helping you make the right appointments if you have received a referral from the dentist to see a specialist. Some how there seems to be a disconnect when you interact with the front office staff after a visit, there lack of competency for basic things is mind bottling.

My daughter has been having severe pain in her jaw, and she is only comfortable seeing woman doctors. I called on Friday at like 3ish they got squeezed us in on Tuesday with Dr Lindsey (I don’t know her last name I am sorry) and she was beyond amazing! She explained everything and took her time, the dental assistant (didn’t get his name) was amazing, the office manger so helpful and wonderful. My daughter needs her wisdom teeth removed as the pain is keeping her up, they were able to squee her in for a consult with the surgeon today (Wednesday) he explained everything in detail. We couldn’t do a appointment tomorrow due to prior engagements but her teeth will be out on Friday! I can not say enough positive things about this office! I HIGHLY recommend them.

They say you get a free whitening kit as a new patient. After I was rushed out for questioning the estimates, no one offered a kit. When I called back I was told thats only after your first cleaning. then I was told it was only as long as supplies lasted. When I said it was misleading they said it was a promotion by corporate and they hadnt had those kits for over a year. I STRONGLY recommend that you see what other dentists your insurance has .I will also be contacting my Medicare Humana with a complaint.

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist following bad experiences in the past. Before I went to Sage Dental, it had been 5 years since my last dental because of my fear. From the moment I walked in here I felt comfortable. They shared everything they were going to do before they did it and were kind and compassionate. I got a periodontal cleaning and five cavities filled with no pain. I will definitely be going back.

I am very satisfied with the services provided by this dentist org...I have visited twice and both times found the service excellent, office clean (pet peeve of minds) and staff quite professional. This will become my regular place for dental care and would surely recommend.

As I was leaving your office in Tamarac on 01/29/2020 following a painful extraction I was told that there was an additional charge of $85. I asked what for and was told it was for a consultation. ?? When? With who? I had agreed on a contract for $632 thru Care Credit.I have called 3 times since then asking for the office manager to contact me and give me information on why this additional charge was required. No one ever returned my calls. I am disputing this charge and want it removed from my VISA account.I will find a different professional for the remaining treatment if you cannot resolve this issue.Regards,Dolora Wetherington

Solange went above and beyond whats expected of her duties, its as if she felt my pain and discomfort, she explained all my options made all the necessary appointments to see the oral surgeon. all the paperwork was taken care of. Im a new patient at the Sage Dental office in Tamarac. Its amazing how the entire office is consistent in delivering superior dental service.From appointment setting (they fit me on the schedule within 2 days), preliminary x-rays (friendly dental assistant), to the hygenist (Suki-Suki...) who provided White glove treatment. The pricing for their services are competitive and there IS NO WAIT... Now thats a first.... I highly recommend anyone who reads this comment to give them and try and experience what I experienced.

My first visit. Long wait for my 8:30 am appt. About 35 minutes. Was about to leave when they called me back. The tech and the hygienist were courteous and professional. The dentist was okay, seemed kinda new. The exam went okay. They found a pocket in my gum they said requires an antibiotic. I have really good insurance from Aetna. I have had this procedure before where it cost about $45. They charged me $109. Unsure if Ill be back. All these S. Florida dentists all seem to be in cahoots, and running a racket of some sort.
