What a traumatizing experience. This was my very first time coming to this salon to get my hair done and let me tell you.. They butchered my hair!! The owner of Maries Place was the person who did my hair so I put all my faith in her hands that she would do her very best being the owner. I was very wrong. I went in with the expectation of my hair being lightening to a light brown and came out with orange hair. I will say it again, ORANGE HAIR. She then proceeded to tell me my haircut would be free since it was my first time but I knew she had messed up once she offered me the free haircut. I was very disappointed that the owner never took responsibility for destroying my hair and I will never do service with them again. Attached below are the photos of the outcome.

I recently moved to this area and have been looking for a good beauty salon. After searching so many, I decided to call Maries Place and since I spoke to the lady on the phone I knew this was the perfect place for me.I went there the same day and met Marie the owner a Dominican Republican lady which is so friendly and I explained to her what needed to be done on my hair. I wanted a drastic change, so with my ideas and Maries knowledge the results were absolutely awesome!If you live in Tamarac area or surroundings go to Maries Place, prices are affordable, environment is fun cant forget to mention Dalia she rocks and the rest of the ladies are very nice and always smiling...Thank you Marie for the highlights...I love them!
