Dr Rasmussen has completed 4 individual teeth implants for me and is working on 2 more. Dr. Rasmussen is very thorough and he takes the time to listen to your concerns. His staff is professional, kind and alway caring. I highly recommend Periodontics & Implant Dentistry!

Very nice group of people. They were very polite and friendly. I was nervous about the technology at first since I’m not used to the new machinery that they have, but they did a really good job on my teeth. They also informed me of how I can better take care of them in the future which is great.

I had unbearable pain that started over the weekend and needed some serious relief. I contacted Tallahassee Dental Specialist. Dr. Barocio had me come in and access, diagnose and propose the solution. She was able to get Dr. Matt of Periodontics & Implant Dentistry to see me the same day and considering the issue I had, it was a pleasant experience. I still have a ways to go, but knowing that they really have your best interest at heart makes it that more tolerable. Dr Barocio, Dr. Matt and their whole team are such compassionate people. They treat you like family. I am so glad that my husband referred me to their dental office. I will definitely refer other friends and family to their practice for future dental care.

I was referred to Dr. Rasmussen from my general dentist. I was recommended to have gum grafting. Part of my client work has been in the dental field for 26 years. I have been completely impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the utilization of technology and the communication. Gum grafting is a serious procedure, however, Dr. Rasmussen and his team did an excellent job on pre op, day of and recovery. The team is first class.

Such a wonderful new addition to our area! Found Dr. Rasmussen to be kind and patient and answered all my questions! He made me feel much more comfortable with upcoming procedures. As I do every 3 months I went to PIDT to get my teeth cleaned by Tiffany Shepherd, RDH. Tiffany has been cleaning my teeth for the last several years and I attribute the success that I have had in seriously slowing my periodontal issues to her meticulous professional cleanings. Along with her professional talent, I find her welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. I have recommended contacts of mine who are in need of such services go to this office based purely on her talents as a dental hygienist. (Trust me, I have gone to other hygienists in the past whose major goal seemed to be how quickly they could get me done and out of their chair.) Tiffany always takes the time to notice where I need to concentrate a little more with my brushing and to make sure I have the tools I need to maintain my teeth between visits.

Office is staffed with professional, caring staff who are attentive to your care. Doctor Rasmussen was thorough and took his time focusing on my case . He explained the treatment plan and was clear about what he thought was going on in my situation. He will confer with my dentist to coordinate care and their office will accept my County Retirees insurance and let me know what my cost share will be before work is started. Good experience with my visit with Dr. Rasmussen and his staff yesterday and top of the line dental equipment.

I finally found a dentist I love going to. Everyone is so nice and caring. They really make you feel comfortable. The first dentist thats never lied to me. if he says its not going to hurt , It will not hurt. I wish I could go there for all my dental procedures not just the Periodontics. Highly recommend them especially if youre a big chicken of the dentist like me.. Lol

After a preliminary consultation, Dr. Rasmussen will be doing a ridge graft and implant for me. He spent time explaining the procedures and what each would entail and was extremely helpful with answering all of my questions. Tiffany in the office is great and made my x rays easy and as painless as possible. Great doctor and great staff.

I went for an evaluation For periodontal disease and they took lots of pictures with some state of the art equipment. Came back for a review of the data and Dr Rasmussen developed s treatment plan for me. Which we are executing. The fees were reasonable , the staff was friendly I would highly recommend I will report back on my success.

I recently had a crown lengthening done for a tooth I received a root canal on about one year ago. The gum area was quite a bit inflamed and puffy even a year later. My dentist reached out to Dr. Matt and his team for the crown lengthening. The entire staff make me feel comfortable when I visit and especially during the procedure. This was the first time I’ve had stitches in my mouth as well. I am amazed at the recovery my gums have made in such a short time (about one week). I listened to Dr. Matt and his team post-op and I am thankful for their service. With this procedure done I can now receive a crown that fits properly around my tooth and won’t cause discomfort to my gums. I highly recommend giving them a chance!

I was referred to Dr Rasmussen by my regular dentist for a tooth that needed to be extracted. I was anxious because it was a molar but he did a great job making me comfortable and got it out quickly and painlessly. I love the fact that you can text him directly with any questions or problems. Also, he said the tooth next to it might be in trouble too but didnt want to rush into pulling it too. Everyone was very helpful and professional.

I have had a toothache for about one month! My regular dentist wanted me to go to a periodontics who would do a CAT scan and Xrays! When I finally found the office it was new and beautiful! Doctor Rasmussen did a CAT of my head and my mouth . It was fast, efficient and a requirement of my family doctor. Doctor Rasmussen’s staff was so nice and friendly. I arrived at 1300 and did not leave until 1600! The doctor assessed the tooth, asked me what my thoughts were and pulled the tooth. My mouth immediately felt better! This office has definitely been a godsend for me! I was really worried and anxious about the process of receiving dental implants. The second I walked into this office, I received a warm welcome from Alondra, the front desk receptionist. When I got called back, I was so scared and was escorted to my room by Raven, who listened intently to what I had to say and helped to set some of my fears at bay. She is so kind and relatable! Then I met Dr. Matt and he also listened very intently to what I had to say and took everything into consideration when he was working on my teeth. He was so kind, moved very slowly and explained everything he was doing thoroughly, per my request. Everyone in the office worked very hard to make sure I was comfortable, and that meant the world. Im no longer afraid like I used to be, and Im so very grateful to Dr. Matt and everyone in the office for working with me through my anxiety. I would recommend them 100 times over, especially if you have anxiety about going to the dentist!

I was having extreme tooth pain and needed work done in an emergency situation. I called this office and requested for a same day appointment due to the pain I was in. Before calling them for an appointment I googled them of course to read reviews about them and boy I tell you they were very accurate and awesome. I received my same day appointment, I explained that I didnt have insurance and they assured me that they were going to work with me on payment options. I went in and surgery was completed and yesssssss it was affordable. Remind you guys my appointment was at 10am, I was out of there before 11:30. I developed really bad anxiety when I got my teeth pulled by another dentist because they didn’t give me anesthesia correctly; HOWEVER, when I visited Dr. Matt for a crown lengthening, he knew about my anxiety so he took his time numbing me to ensure I would not get anxiety and he also reassured me that I was in good hands. After the anesthesia, he started working on my gums and I didn’t feel any pain!!!! He’s wonderful
