I recently became regular client at Agora Spa, and I truly enjoy my experience every time I go there. I got massages from Emilia and Jade, and a facial from Mitch. All of the ladies were wonderful. The spa itself is very comfortable, clean, and relaxing. They gave me clean towels, a robe, and slippers, and I always spent time in the lounge to decompress while I drank my tea. Going to Agora Spa is always a nice treat for me and it is worth every penny.

As a professional business traveler. The service is poor for a Marriott. Requested a simple early morning wake up by front desk and never received it. The breakfast restaurant and Starbucks does not open early for early riser business personnel. The Starbucks staff unfriendly and does not accept Starbucks card and does not warm warm of their food. The room I was staying at was very nice but had bugs. Overall not impressed. Have stayed at other Marriotts in rhe same vicinity that are nicer and staff members are friendly.

Overall I had a decent experience. The facility is clean and well stocked. However, as someone who receives massages and facials on a regular basis and consistent basis for over 15 years, I was left feeling a bit unsatisfied. During the massage, the oil was squirted on my back like cooking oil which is not proper massage etiquette. Generally, the oil should be rubbed and warmed up in the therapist’s hands and smoothly rubbed on the client’s back. The massage itself was decent, but lacked keen attention to proper details of massage thoroughness, wiping client’s body completely and covering of eyes when turned over.The facial was decent but the pores of my nose area was not properly extracted and I was left going home to extract my pores. Also electric mittens (though they looked clean) were used to warm my hands, but heat and moisture attracts bacteria and I was left with an allergic reaction and skin infection afterwards. I went to the dermatologist and was treated for a staph bacteria outbreak all over my arms and hands. I never had an outbreak like this before. I have extremely sensitive skin.Rarely, rarely do I write reviews but I left with a skin infection and the quality of skills of services could be improved on.

This spa isnt just my go-to fave spot but one of the best ever. Traveller the country, visited many spas, but this one is definitely in the top 3. Had an amazing facial today. Many years of experience and gave me tips and tricks to maintain without spending a lot of money. Bought some wonderful products there. Looking forward to my next trip back to Agora.

Agora is a hidden gem in the middle of downtown Stamford. I had a custom massage by Gina and it was hands down the best I ever had. This place is literally a little bit of Heaven on earth. A must visit for anyone who has not been here before!

I love Agora Spa! It is quiet, relaxing, the staff are professional and the service is great. I have been going to this spa for years, never have I been disappointed. Most of my visits have been massages and facials. Try this spa, I doubt that you will be disappointed.

This place is a hidden gem and I would of never known it was located in a Marriott. It is huge and cozy at the same time. Lots of amenities, steam room Swedish shower etc.. We had the body polish and custom couples massage and honestly have never had an experience like this. This place is amazing. We will come back to this hotel just for the Spa! And you dont have to be a hotel guest to go there. Apparently alot of locals go there too.

Best facial ever! Scheri is the best, very knowledgeable on skincare products and practices. Spa was very clean and the ambience was so relaxing. Definitely going back soon!

The Agora Spa and has wonderful staff exceeded all of our expectations! We went there for a couples weekend get away to Stamford. And just have a relaxing weekend, Service is great, and the pricing is good, but not worth 5 stars. Sorry to say. It is definitely worth checking out though!

I had an unforgettable time at the Spa when I flew in during a layover this past weekend. The entire staff treated me like a celebrity from the moment I walked in the Doors. I did not want to leave. I ended up purchasing a gift card for a friend who relocated to Stamford from California. She also has a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to be back

Finally the spa has reopened! There is a new owner now. I received the oxygen facial and it was amazing! I will be back!

My wife and I have been here numerous times for single and couples massages, body scrub and facials. We have always had a relaxing experience and great service. We travel more than 20 miles just because we know well have a great massage.

I received a gift card for Christmas for a $200 massage from my boyfriend. Called to set up an apt in mid January to find out they had closed with no notice and no ability to contact them. Very disappointing.

I never thought there would be a spa in the Marriott Hotel. I was able to sit in the steam room and enjoy the relaxation room before i got my facial. My sister and I both had an Oxygen facial with Scheri. It was the best facial we have ever had! I cant believe that I drive by this place all the time not knowing it was inside.

$23.49 a day to park was a surprise. Expensive stay.However, after a long day of training, I arrived back at my room at 3:10, and it still wasnt clean? So I had to put the do not disturb out, so I could take a shower and a nap before going back out to teach at night. Dissapointing. Room was nice, people were nice. I went to the concierge lounge to grab a water, to discover a gross plunger in the middle of the floor, and dishes on the floor....on the 15th floor level! Returned about 20 minutes later, still there (see pic). Disgusting. Concierge lounge was good, and the ladies working it were polite and attentive. For the cost of the stay, not a good place.+ close to restaurants

Is Agora open again? They seemed to have been closed since December, but the review from Julie was 1 month ago. How can we make an appointment?Ive loved my experiences in the past at Agora, but the lack of response since December is disheartening.
