I highly recommend ProgressiVision! Very helpful and friendly staff! Dr. Nemser is very professional, and takes his time to ensure your eyes are properly checked. The staff helped me pick out the best frames possible, and understand the importance of yearly eye exams! I find it hard to believe any of the reviews below 4 stars. I will definitely be coming back yearly!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nemsers for almost 25 years. He is an excellent doctor who takes very good care of my eyes. He has always carefully explained any changes to my vision and is very professional. The staff is also very helpful. Whether its ensuring my contacts get shipped or offering help picking out frames, they have always been there to help me.

Dr. Nemser is a great doctor! He’s very understanding. He takes his time to explain all the results and options that you have. The service that I receive is excellent and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!

Ive been here a handful of times and everytime Ive gone, its been a pleasant experience. Even through the covid times, I still received excellent care. The staff was always accommodating and professional. I recommend this for any of your vision needs!!

PROGRESSIVISION is the best!!! Ive been a patient of Dr. Nemsers for 30 years, hes very thorough & efficient and is the only doctor who makes me laugh during a check-up! The staff are so sweet and helpful--they have always helped me to pick out the perfect frames and always follow up with me to let know when my lenses are available for pick-up (which is super fast, BTW). Great selection of stylish designer frames at reasonable prices, I have a tough time choosing just one pair!!

Access is a little tricky. Use Hoover Ave off of Summer St to park behind the building, then walk around to front.Though the doctor did not have my favorite bedside manner, I still felt confidence in the exam/his direction/opinion. The staff was very friendly and patient answering my questions; they even discovered I had an extra benefit through my insurance I didnt know about, so it was nice I got to take advantage of that. I got an appointment quickly (maybe because of the reviews they dont have a lot of traffic). Covid protocols were clear and followed by all. My contact and glasses came in as expected. Likely to return.

Dr. Nemser is very rude to talk, I had a bad experience with him today, not a good person to be around. If you planing to visit his place, I don’t recommend! This is my last time using there service for sure , ZERO For him ! I gave 1 to evaluated him but he do not deserve it !

Possibly the worst place ever! They don’t return calls. I wanted to find out something regarding insurance and said that they might able to do it but not guaranteed because they might just forget...just horrible customer service!

Very poorly run. Don’t return phone calls when you leave a message. Made appointment and then when I showed up, they said they had no record of my appointment. There location is horrible. One a one way street at an intersection of 3 busy roads. No parking. Do yourself a favor and find another place.

I went last year for first time. The doctor was very rude because I could not read the letters and numbers (?????? thats why I needed new glasses, doctor)

Very professional and personable staff that always offers good advice

They are more concerned with getting people in and out than examining eyes. I was told I had bad scarring on one eye, which is alarming to hear as a patient with no working knowledge. I wasnt given any more information besides that and didnt get the opportunity to ask any questions because the next patient was there. When I went to another recommended and trusted optometrist for a second opinion, they found no scarring, just different pigments. Progressivision also failed to tell me that the lens on the glasses I had were too high. They are very nice but I just didnt get the care I expected.

PROGRESSIVISION, Stamford has 2 very unprofessional and rude staff Gina and Diana these 2 women are very miserable and unhappy with themselves so they lash out to the customers. Stay away from PROGRESSIVISION this is a very negative place with a negative experience. I had an appointment with DR. NEMSER. As a new patient, I wish I would have looked him up before having an eye exam from him.He was rude, was upset when I read the wrong line, rushed through the appointment when I was the only patient in the office. It was clear he did not want to be there. I wish I would have simply walked out.He has no people-friendly skills. I advise anyone who can to avoid making an appointment with this man. Its clear he doesnt even care about having patients. Its unfair to people who are looking for a great eye doctor. Definitely, dont take your kids to see him. If he is this way with an adult, cant imagine how much lack of patience he must have for kids! I hope no one ever has to experience what I did at progressivision. I have been to plenty of eye doctors but never have I felt so disrespected by one. I have read a previous patients review who said he made her cry! Another review wrote about DR. NEMSERS LACK OF professional skills!
