Ive been using Dr. Saxena for years and he is great. Hes compassionate, listens (and actually remembers situations), and hes been available for last minute for emergencies. I went to several other psychiatrists before him and was unhappy and misdiagnosed.

I have suffered with anxiety and depression most of my life. Been through numerous doctors. Been using Dr.Saxeena for at least 10 years. He is an excellent doctor who has helped not only me but other members of my family when in need.

Dr Saxena is a wonderful Dr. He is the only Dr who finally got me on the right medicine. My 14 year old daughter is also his patient and I see huge improvements with her. I highly recommend him. The office staff is super friendly too!

Ive been seeing Dr. Saxena for about two months, and I can already say that I dont do well with him and I find it hard to believe that anyone else would. Right from the start, he kept interrupting me while I was trying to tell him what was going on. When he heard that I used to drink and have parents who drink, he started telling me that I was going to spiral and go down into a hole, even though I told him that I stopped. He made the entire first appointment, which lasted about 15 minutes, about my history and familys substance abuse history. The second appointment, I waited for AN HOUR AND A HALF to get into his office. He had at least 3 people waiting as well, who were there before I was. Lastly, he prescribed me lithium, telling me to eat with it but failed to tell me how much to eat. Apparently I didnt eat as much as I was supposed to when he upped my prescription and I spent the whole morning of the next day spewing stomach bile. I gained 5 pounds in the first week, and I only ate one meal a day with the medication. Currently Im sitting in bed, recovering from a NEW medicine he gave me, Abilify, which I was told has no side effects whatsoever. While Id like to think that he has good intentions, he doesnt seem to care about the patient and who they really are, he just seems to like prescribing medications without knowing the full story. After 2 months of being medicated, my bipolar 2 disorder (I hope he gave me the right diagnosis for that) has not gotten better. Please consider going to someone else if you want to remain healthy.

I have been in the practice for over 2 years. The first appointment with Dr Suxena was odd to say the least but after that all went well with regular checkups visits, there were a few problems with dosage of medication over the years BUT once I change the insurance the finance person was HORRIBLE, I was going to my regular appointments and when I asked about the co-pay they would always says they were waiting the insurance to get back with the values, everytime I went I asked and receive the same response from the receptionist. ONE DAY i was confronted, that is the word, with a absurd amount to pay, I refuse to pay in the moment, I didnt have the money in the bank, OMG! this finance person accused me of going to appointments without insurance, refusing to pay the amount due ALL of these in front of my two small kids and other patients. I said I would not pay until I had a clear explanation from the insurance. I walked away crying. The finance person behavior was appalling, I call Dr Suxena still shaken he returned later saying that she was doing her job, I contested her angry attitude and accusations...a few days later they called saying the insurance had covered the bill totally and asking me to reconsider returning to the practice. I havent gone back. I will probably go back for the quick check ups! I agree that the communication within the office is poor...My experience with the finance women was traumatic, to say the least. Even if she is good with finances she should never have access to patients! EVER!

Inept service. They change policies without warning. No communication between the staff and the doctor himself. Made an appointment a few months ago. They have nothing on record showing it. Kept on hold for 20 minutes. Do not bother with this doctors office. Big waste of time and money.
