The three ladies who braided my hair did such a good job. Everyone was so nice and each braid is the same size. I love my hair so much. Thank you! I’ll definitely be back.

I WILL NEVER ever go to this salon again. I had a 2pm appointment and got there on time and they did not start my hair until 4pm. This was my first time there and the lady that’s right at the door looked at me when i walked in , rolled her eyes, and turned her back to me. I had to say excuse me good afternoon i have an appointment today. Around 4pm she is the one that ended up doing my hair i showed her picture of how i wanted the knotless done in the back. I bought my own pack of blue colored hair and she complained about it and refused to use it. another lady came to do the cornrows in my hair i showed her the style that i was given the price for and she made it a big problem. I showed her a simpler style to do and to start with my own hair instead of the braiding hair and she refused to , there was one braid that was very tight and i asked her if she can do it over she said to put edge control on it. As i was taking out my braids alllll of my edges are gone ans plenty of hair was torn out.

Kinney’s shop is the best for care and quality. I’ve been coming to her for over 6 years and she is always concerned that you personal needs as far as your hair style is met. My daughter also comes and she is always pleased. She has ,as well as I, tried other shops nearby or in the area and we are not as satisfied as when we visit Kinney’s shop.The shop needs little work, but you can overlook that for the amount of care and concern and consistent customer care that is given. I’m always pleased that I can show her a picture of the style I want and she can replicate it to my liking.

They was nice people, but I had my hair done two weeks ago and it looks like I had them in for 2 months.

The wait time was a little long. But I was very pleased with how my hair turned out. So the wait was worth it. The place was really clean and the service was excellent.

RIPPED MY HAIR OUT. Never going there again, braids were way too tight still hurt after a week. Chunks of hair were coming out due to how tight the braids were. So upset I was looking for a protective style for the summer and got the exact opposite, took them out after only 8 days because I couldn’t dead with it (and no it’s was not my first time getting my hair braided) she even had to redo some because they were tight, and still ended up too tight. Sat on a chewed up chair for hours and on top of everything she didn’t do what I wanted. I showed a picture and she looked at it multiple times but made the parts smaller and the braids bigger which probably added to the breakage. Do not recommend, only went because it was closer to me but 100% not worth it.

They always do a great job on my hair!! I wont go anywhere else.

Professionalism: last time going. workers have condescending demeanor. god forbid you ask for a specific detail in style theyll give a chuckle or something... I dont recommend it to anyone. if youre not generous with a tip they will never let it go until you give something bigger.

If you have nice healthy hair with length, avoid this place at all cost. Although the owner Kiney is ok and will braid your hair nicely, the other hair braiders beware. Very bad attitude and aggressive demeanour. They purposefully braid your hair very tightly especially if you have healthy hair with length. When you tell them its too tight, they have an attitude. If you want to experience traction alopecia and be a future candidate for a hair transplant, then this is the salon for you. You have been warned!

I sent my wife here to get her hair done for her birthday and they treated her like a queen! She loved her hair Kiney was so nice and did and excellent job and was fast! She was in and out and satisfied with her braids! We will definitely be going back again! Thank you Kiney!!!

Went there for Mamba twist with crotch hair. She cornrolled my hair TO TIGHT and I kept telling her it was to tight. Then the crotch were to hard to do because the cornrolled were to tight. I literally was in tears and told them to stop. On of the of the other women knew she did them to tight and still was trying to put them in forcefully. Sum up my story my edges were pulled back to tight and my scalp was bleeding. So now I have blotches on my edges because they came out from the braids. Caution if you know how your hair is suppose to be they dont listen. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Gave this place a try, I bought my own hair to be installed and the lady that started my hair didnt do an acceptable job, so I complained and another had to take out some of my hair to reinstall. But pricing was good and the owner does good work would go again for small things
