My daughter took a hard fall and broke her left forearm during cheerleading. She was seen and treated by Dr. Bloom in his Springfield, NJ office. The staff were nice. Dr. Bloom explained to us the process of the surgery and recovery, from start to finished. I must say that I was rest assured that she is in good hands, and indeed she was. My son is a high level youth athlete. He broke his ankle in 3 places and needed surgery. Thank God Dr. Bloom was on call at Overlook hospital because he did an amazing job! He put plate in and pins and now my son is fully back to normal in just 3 months! He explained everything before the surgery and after and made us calm and confident. Dr Bloom was an amazing surgeon and we were very lucky he was the one on call when our daughter severely broke her arm and required pins. She did amazing post op and is now back to tumble and playing basketball! He was also able to put my 8yo daughter at ease and connect with her by drawing princesses on her arm before surgery and telling jokes at visits! I would highly recommend him and his staff! Marlo was also amazing at each visit!

Dr. Bloom is generous with his time during office visits and insures patients leave fully informed. Dr. Bloom treated my daughter who sustained a serious broken collarbone during an ice hockey game. My 18 month old son suffered a tumble off the bed resulting in a spiral fracture of the femur. Dr. Bloom set, casted and followed up on the broken leg for the past two months. We had the best possible outcome of 4 weeks in the cast and normal healing ever since.Dr. Bloom is extremely knowledgeable. It is very obvious that he is invested in his field and the way he practices seems thoughtful and errorless. As a parent this he is the type of doctor I would demand for my child.He deserves 5 stars because he does his job flawlessly. However if you are looking for a fun guy that makes your kid laugh and creates a fun environment then Dr. Bloom may rub you the wrong way. My child cries every time he sees him.But Im not looking for a fun time when I want someone to take care of my kids health so there is no reason Dr. Bloom should have anything less than 5 stars. I am very happy with the outcome of my childs injury and I would recommend him to any parent looking for a pediatric orthopedic doctor.

THE DOCTOR BLOOM WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL, ORDERED TO OPERATE MY BABY AND GAVE ME THE TELEPHONES TO MAKE THE SURGERY APPOINTMENT. I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR 3 WEEKS AGO AND IT IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER THAT TAKES MY MESSAGES THEY HAVE NEVER RETURNED THE CALL.

As a local guide in NJ i feel compelled to share the good and bad experiences around me. Definitely i would say that my experience with Dr. Tamir was fantantic. I visited another doctor prior to visiting Dr.Tamir and i must say that Dr.Tamir seemed knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. I felt that he gave us the best consultation and recommendations for the problems that my little one (1.5 year old) was going through. I would highly recommend this doctor especially for kids right from 1 year and above. I must also mention that the receptionist (i think her names cynthia) in the front office was very friendly and courteous. Overall it was a very satisfying visit.

He was able to answer all my questions and made me feel very relaxed and calm during an otherwise stressful time.He was very understanding and explained everything in a way that my whole family could understand. If I could give a -0 thats how I would rate this place. Called two days ahead to make an appointment for my 7 years old nephew for a broken ankle. On the date of the appointment, got to the place, a second floor, (with my 7 years old nephew in crutches that he still learning to use) & only found a air-conditioned & heater mechanic on site. But nobody could take the phone to notify, neither werent in place no sign explaining theyre closed.Since this is the kind of treatment they give to new customers I recommend to find another place to take the injured. This place do not care, not even for kids.

Dr Tamir Bloom is really amazing. My son was born with bilateral clubfoot... a birth defect in which both his feet were twisted out of shape or position.I went crazy looking online for an orthopedic surgeon I could trust. My sons case was really severe and required tons of weekly casting sessions and two surgeries to get the proper correction. Its amazing to me now, that my little man is actually standing up and using his feet. Looking back on the process and at the before photos of his feet I realize that what Dr Bloom did to correct his feet is truly an art!The office is always available for us, even when we had concerns late in the evening. Dr. Blooms team was Sooooo helpful. And I cant forget to mention Marlo, Dr. Blooms Assistant....
