DO NOT use Southfield Radiology Associates if you have a choice! They processed my tests unbeknownst to me as a result of some medical provider outsourcing to them. I do not know which provider used them but I will attempt to sway my providers to stop using Southfield Radiology Associates.In January 2021 I received a $10 bill for services in October 2020 and paid it.In May 2021 I received statement for $5 from a collection agency. I called Southfield Radiology Associates and asked why they submitted my information to a collection agency for $5 when I already paid. He said the first account was paid in full but a second account from December 2020 was billed in February 2021. I never received the bill and said I obviously would have paid $5 considering I paid $10 for the first bill. He said they turned the $5 balance over to collections after they sent a second notice.First how pathetic can Southfield Radiology Associates be to send a $5 bill to a collection agency in two months?Second how pathetic and desperate is Congress Collection in Farmington Hills to spend money on paper, ink, envelope, postage, and labor to pursue a $5 debt in May that was first billed in February?I told the rep from Southfield Radiology Associates I will not dignify the absurdity of this debt by paying a collection agency. It should have occurred to someone with an ounce of intelligence that I would have paid a $5 bill if I had seen it.
