After thyroid removal due to cancer, a radioactive treatment is often necessary. I scheduled it as discussed. The doctor changed the test from “A” to “B” upon my arrival at the test facility. B could not be performed due to preparation. So I rescheduled. Then they called to change back to A. Later that day they called to change back to B. Finally a last call to return the test to A. Bear in mind that this is a routine treatment nearly everyone receives after thyroid removal, and yet they couldn’t make up their mind. Additionally, due to the nature of the test, B would’ve been redundant.Preceding this by approximately a month, I received a voicemail regarding lab work. I returned the call. No one could tell me what the voicemail was regarding, and the person who left it was off for the day. This cycle repeated itself 3 times. Then a final voicemail was received recommending I schedule the radioactive therapy. No one could figure that out during all my returned phone calls?Although it will make little difference to anyone in the office, I’ll take my care elsewhere.

I would not recommend this doctor to anybody ever he has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen in a physician. I have hypothyroidism with all the symptoms of hypothyroidism and have had it for several years now. my symptoms have recently gotten worse and without doing a single test on me and only looking at a blood test that was taken three months ago from my primary care physician he told me it’s not my thyroid bothering me it’s because I’m overweight and if I just lose weight and work out six days a week for the rest of my life I will feel much better. I left the office in tears because of him basically calling me fat and telling me my hypo symptoms are from being overweight when I have gained the weight from having hypothyroidism. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of seeing Dr. Naseer Ahmad to find someone who understands the symptoms of hypothyroidism and has a better bedside manner towards his patients.
