Why isnt anyone answering the phone when patients call? I have been on hold for very long periods of time, which is unprecedented for people who are trying to schedule care and ask follow-up questions. I have also been disconnected more than once. It is unprofessional. Indeed, its the digital age, but some people prefer to call and speak with the office staff or nurse than to conduct all business online (if thats even an option).The walls in this facility are also paper thin with no white noise, so if you are waiting in the exam room, you can hear another patients entire visit, which is also unprofessional and surely violates some privacy laws.I had no problems with my provider, but there is a lot of room for improvement here to help patients feel more comfortable.1. Prioritize answer the phone and be pleasant with patients who are calling in.2. Make efforts to protect patient privacy by adding some white noise machines/encouraging doctors to be aware of how noise travels and to speak more softly when providing care.I have switched to another health system in the area and am much happier with the patient care, respect and professionalism from supporting staff. Its too bad because some of the doctors at this location are really great!I also tried to call the customer service number provided here in responses and - guess what? No one answered.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get a refill for my meds and NOONE ANSWERS!!!!! I do not have time to wait more than 15 minutes as I work during the office hours. I have even been disconnected and then I get a letter in the mail from this office stating they cant get a hold of me!!Seriously??!!I am having issues because I dont have my meds and I cant get any help!! I love my doctor, but this is ridiculous!! I tried calling the patient relations number guess what? They want me to leave a message, nope!! I am going to this office in person when I can to get help, I should not have to do this!!

Dont call if you need anything- NO ONE ANSWERS.Edited to add! 10/7/21!This happens Every single month. Been calling since Tuesday afternoon to get med refills by Friday. Can’t make an appt if I try, couldn’t reschedule when I needed to, can’t get refills. Tired of excuses. I’ve worked in medical practices 4+ years and not answering within FIFTEEN MINUTES??! Would be a write up for most professional places. Nothing back yet from patient satisfaction either; left two messages so far. REALLY HORRIBLE PATIENT CARE.

My son and myself are patients here. This is the first doctors office where he doesnt cry. He has really bad white coat syndrome. But he loves it here! Everyone here is so nice and professional. I would recommend to anyone to come here for their health care needs.

I had my first visit with Dr.Jeffery Rosenwinkle at River Park Family Medicine yesterday. He was kind and professional.He address each one of my concerns.He listened,He took his time with me and didnt rush through visit, prescribing meds without thoroughly looking at my concerns or test results.In fact he sought more information to make an accurate plan of treatment.The thing that impressed me the most was he took a complete history , looked at prescriptions on was currently on, and didnt just go on with what other doctors did but STARTED a plan of his own. I noticed he is slowly, delibertly looking at the many meds that have been prescribed to me in the past and prescribing just whats needed for now and watching effects of each, something no other PMP has done in the past. In short taking the time to care.He also adjusted treatment to my situation and needs.Im very impressed with Dr. Jeff.His staff is of the best quality, everyone of them were very kind and attentive. It wasA very pleasant exspirence.I highly recommend them to anyone , buy edspecially to the elderly or handicapped.

This has to be one of the worst doctors offices I have aver been to. The staff is not very friendly. Its nearly impossible to call the office and speak to anyone without waiting on hold for over a half hour every time. Then if you do get through, they seem like they are in a hurry to get you off the phone. The office staff seem very unprofessional. Some of the letters that my family or I have had written up for our work, were poorly written, had a lack of information, and miss spelled words. They take for ever to call you back to give you results from tests that you have done. And then they done even want to tell you the details of the results, just that the overall results are fine. Even if something might be a little off. I will never go back to this doctors office again and i DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I really love this office. I have know Dr Battles ever since she was a resident and she is great. Their entire staff have always been very professional with me.As far as other reviews talking about the bad phones, this is network wide. The networks phone tree sucks.

This by far is the worst doctors office I have ever been to the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Let alone disorganized, the doctor kept asking me about my sex life in front of my kids, the manager was about as unprofessional as you can get, stay far away!!!

Dr Nathaniel Stewart is absolutely amazing! I’ve had multiple visits with him this year and each time he’s listened to me talk about my health concerns and gave me his suggestions without passing judgment. He’s extremely knowledgeable and caring. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for quality health care!

Finally! Ive found a doctor that has three very important qualities. First, Dr Battjes takes time to listen to you. Second, she is willing to think outside the box and consider all options of treatment and what might be best for you. Third, she is caring, responsive, and professional.

One of the worst managed doctors offices I have ever experienced.

Overall, I give this office a 1 star. Not all the doctors there are bad, actually there is 1 or 2 who are exceptional. But you are not allowed to switch doctors within the same practice (their rules). I did not like my doctor, I felt rushed when I saw her, she would cut me off, would not help in finding solutions for things I need. The last straw was when I got out of rehab and they wanted me to been seen by my family doctor along with my surgeon, as a follow up, since this was the first time she would have seen me after a major traumatic event which required complicated surgery. Her response was she didnt need to see me. Ok. Peace Out!! I am fortunate enough now to have found a Dr. that I mesh much better with.

I was lied to about my inhaler being refilled (asthmatic), and told rudely that it was sent over. I have been without it for nearly two weeks due to the incompetence of the staff in this office. I saw Dr. Batjess last week as a new patient, she was courteous but very rushed. I felt as though she was very nice about brushing me off. Everytime I tried to speak I was met with mhmms and rights cutting me off mid sentence. Needless to say, I will be finding a different family physicians office.

I had a quick and good visit. The staff were professional and courteous. Dr. Battjes answered all of my questions, and it was clear that she was taking time to understand my particular questions and needs.

I was told I was 5 minutes late and Dr. Town wouldnt see me because of it. First of all, I was on time, second of all, how ludicrous is that even if I was?!? Their policy states if you are more than 10 minutes late, the doctor may not see you. They also made me sit in the waiting room full of sick people for over 20 minutes before telling me this. Great way to lose a good patient! I will not be returning to this office!

This is one of the laziest dis organized place that I’ve ever been to I called to schedule for my follow up no one even answer the phone all I got was they were busy assistance other I don’t have time to be stuck on hold

I just called to make an appointment for my kids who have been sick all weekend and are running fevers of 101.5 and was told they have to have a fever for 3 days before I can get an apointment and because i didnt check there temps this weekend and checked it this morning I cant get one yet. The nurse that answered the phone was smug and didnt let me give them all the symptoms before putting me on hold and coming back on to tell me to give my kids tylonel and ibuprofen and water and if it is still going on in 3 days then call back. The nurse I talked to her name was Cathy I told her I was going to find a new doctor for my kids and she laughed and said you do that.

Seen Dr Abigail Battjes for the first time from being refereed to her by another specialist. Went in the office the staff were whispering and saying things behind my back. Once i got back to see her she was very rude telling me i had no pain in my back knowing my prior doctor prescribed my pain meds i needed for my back! She even went as far as calling my prior doctor to confirm this! She stated to take Ibuprofen and physical therapy which i told her i have already done. Then told me to go get x-rays on my back which was obliviously was not broken, i was walking around fine???? Did that, then asked to get a referral to a pain specialist since she denied to fill my medicine that i was currently taking..After doing the x-ray she told me that she will not give me a referral. I called my insurance and told them and at that point was told by the insurance they removed me from there office because they couldnt please my needs..What a joke! Honestly not sure how doctors are even giving a licenses nowadays. This office is horrible Im glad to find a new doctor

I recently switched general practitioners and i’m so glad i did. i love the staff, the ease and the atmosphere of river park family medicine.

My family and I were all patients of doctor moloney. My grandmother was his patient before she gave birth to my mother and we all remained with him until he retired. When he retired so did many members of his staff. The office did get hectic for awhile which I believe left a bad impression on many. However I would say its just about as good as it was before and I know i am in good hands with doctor Battjes and the River park family medicine staff

I made an appointment a few months in advance. On the day of the appointment, a receptionist made me feel ashamed for being late, and then told me the doctors not in today, though. At no time before the appointment did they let me know this was the case, not even in their reminder phone calls. This is the second time this has happened to me here. Word to the wise, Michiana: use Beacon. St. Josephs Health System, as a whole, is not worth it.

The most unprofessional “doctors office” I’ve ever been to. I had one appointment and the front desk staff are absolutely rude and lazy, and the doctor smelled like she hadn’t had a bath in a week. I told her all my symptoms and I swear to God, this lady seriously said, “gross!” It took everything in my power to even make the appointment, let alone keep it, and she treated me like garbage. I don’t know how they are allowed to continue with all of the bad reviews and experiences people have had.

River Park Family Medicine does a good job taking care of its patients. Most of the complaints seem to be about pain medicine which is a schedule II med and heavily monitored. The physicians here try to treat the underlying problem instead of give out pain medicine like candy.I am uncertain why Dr. Battjes is thrown under the bus, the review in question is suspicious as you do not need a referral to see a family practice physician.

Love love love Dr. Miller !!!!! She is awesome ! I personally like female doctors , so she is perfect!! She takes time with you listens to what you got to say ! She is awesome !!!!! Very satisfied.
