We started going here when it first opened. Staff was very efficient and kind . Fast forward to now after pandemic and wow spoke with office manager Ariel today , so very unprofessional, was I rude to her yes I was because she failed to effectively do her job and then blamed my daughter and insinuated my daughter is a liar!! I cannot believe Dr would have this girl in her office ! We will be taking our family of 5 business elsewhere!! This Ariel should have zero contact with customers as she has no idea what customer service is.

They have really long wait times which I wouldn’t mind too much, but when I get there they’re always rushed. The dentist was kind (which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one), but I noticed after two times that I went that they weren’t telling me when I had cavities. When I asked they told me everything was fine and I believed them, because why wouldn’t I? It wasn’t until I started having tooth pain and I started to examine myself that I noticed that I had various cavities. I went to another dentist and they confirmed that I did have several cavities.Michiana Family Dental is one of the few places that accept HIP, but I decided that it was better to pay out of pocket to go to a dentist that actually gives me the attention that I need instead of risking my oral health and having to pay for something more expensive in the long run.If you have work insurance GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Went in with my mask on, to make an appointment. My daughter was needing a ride, convenient trip. I was told i couldnt be in the office. Ugh... No sign saying anything about this on the door! All mandates have been lifted! Get with it folks. I wont be a customer time soon.Also their website shows handicap access but no handicap parking is available in the lot.

I wish there were more dentists that accepted the HIP plan because this is the LAST PLACE I would have chose! Staff is not helpful whatsoever especially when it comes to insurance. Just want to tell you an outrageous price for services that they know the average person can not afford. Definitely looking into driving further to receive better care. Oh yeah not to mention sitting there waiting 45 minutes for everyone who came in after you to be seen before you. Very unorganized place! Seek other care before you come here thats for sure.

This place has excellent customer service and the dentist is literally my favorite dentist, easily the best Ive ever had.

I just had my first visit here. It seemed very unorganized and nobody knew what was going on. Out of 4 people I saw (2 assistants, one doctor, and the receptionist) the receptionist was the only one that seemed to have any confidence in her job or answering any questions I had. Everyone else seemed like it was the first day. Did not seem like a professional office to me at all. Although, everyone was very nice.

I went in and got Dentures it was good .I sent my daughter in pain bad .they gave her Ibuprofen and its not working. Called the lady telling me it wasnt that infection and pulled her tooth . Wow shes still in pain wont go back

I spent 2 hours here and honestly have no clue what was done. I had an appointment for a cleaning. I was a new client who recently got a tooth extraction done by them. The first person did X-rays and chatted. Everything seemed fine. Then the next person comes in. they poke at my gums for about 30 mins, leaves come back pokes some more. I have no idea what is going on. They leave me laying in the chair and after about 20 mins realizing they arent coming back I sit myself up. I wait another 45 mins. Extremely confused what was going on. I see the first person who helped me and asked when the dentist will be with me, I don’t know what’s going on. They go and the dentist comes back about 10 minutes later. She spends about 2 mins with me. Tells me they will call me if my insurance is accepted for a cleaning to make an appointment.Not sure why that wasn’t done when the appointment was made prior. They had my info and set the appointment for me.It’s been a few weeks I have not heard back. I wouldn’t go back anyway after spending 2 hours and not knowing AT all what was going on. It’s clear that they don’t care about their patients!

Dr. Anne and the staff were great. I had to get a root canal and a lot of other things done, Dr. Anne made the process a breeze. Her bedside manner is great, she calms you down. She kept me informed of everything she was doing. With COVID-19 happening the office is very clean, and the full staff is very meticulous about the protocols they have in place for your safety. I felt very safe having work done during this time. All charges where explained up front and broken down. I will be going to their office from now on.

I had a scheduled appointment but after 45 minutes of waiting, I still had not been seen and was not given an update. My first visit here was great so I was incredibly disappointed in the lack of communication this time. For people who take time off of work to go to appointments, it would be helpful to receive a call beforehand if a business is running behind for services.

Dr Anne and her entire team did an amazing job on my root canal. I was very anxious my first few appointments but they all made me feel comfortable in their care. I cant recommend them enough!

Always had excellent care with them. The only problem was when the cova hit, they put protocols in place and at first I didnt understand.I became abusive over the phone to the receptionist. I was wrong and this is my public apology!Their care was and remains excellent.

I have found a great dental practice, and I am looking forward to continuing my dental care with these caring people. A special thank you to Dr. Ann.

Horrible first experience! The Doctor was doing a cold sensation to see which teeth were hurting and I was crying because my teeth were hurting from it. She proceeded to get down in my face and yelled at me telling me I needed to calm down. How can you expect someone to calm down if they are in pain? You DO NOT get in some ones face and yell at them I dont care if I am an adult, I was not going to be treated that way. I will be calling and making a complaint/Report. No one should ever have to go through what I did today. I will not be going back there because their services sucked anyway. Wait times are HORRIBLE and they dont do anything for your pain, except make it worse by performing procedures then yell at you to calm down when youre crying in pain.

I had 4 teeth pulled they were my wisdom. I was just wondering how long it takes for your stiches at the bottom to close. And do i have to keep gause in my mouth if there is no bleeding.

The best around! Friend of mine let a chipped tooth get infected. On Saturday morning she was in scrutinizing pain. They were one of the few places open on Saturday and were able to get her in same and the tooth pulled all at reasonable prices. Highly recommend going here for any dental work.

I had cracked a tooth a few months back and never went and got it taken care of. Spent the last 48 hours in the most excruciating pain I have ever dealt with because the tooth got super infected and caused pain from the tooth all the way through my jaw, ear and head. Being a Saturday I went the E.R just to get some sort of pain relief, my boyfriend called around and was able to get me in to be seen as a “emergency case” even though the doctor was only working a half day, she still managed to see me and wait for us to drive a half hour to see her. She brought me in as I was crying from how bad the pain was, explained everything that was wrong and what she was doing each and every move she made and removed the tooth, it gave me instant pain relief. I 10,000% recommended this place. I will be going back even though I live 40 minutes away! I can finally get some sleep thanks to this place and the amazing staff!

Let me start off by saying it had been 18 years since I was in a dental chair. So I needed the extra encouragement I received from the staff. Assistants Jenn and Noellie (sp?) were friendly and gentle. Jenn fixed my gap in my two front teeth I ALWAYS was embarrassed about since I was little. And she did fabulous. Then this doctor. Anne. This woman is very thorough. She cares about her patients and you can see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice. They are amazing! Coming from someone who can safely say they were absolutely undoubtedly TERRIFIED of the dentist. I am so pleased with my experience with Michiana Family Dental. Ill recommend them to EVERYONE that ever asks for a good dental place. Thank you so very much ladies for your positive attitudes, your constant encouragement praising me for doing a good job. I cant say Ive ever been anywhere for my health that Ive been so happy. Thank you so much ladies for your sweetness and fixing me up. We got everything done on me in a few hours. 18 years of lots of damage. But I can say with confidence I was taken care of properly and with a great bedside manner. They are AMAZING!!!! I am TERRIFIED of the dentist and so of course naturally I was a crying adult in their chair! Had a tooth removed... took MAYBE 15 minutes from numbing to walking out! They are so patient and talk you through everything and they never made me feel bad for my anxiety! The staff are warm, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I was able to get an appointment within a week. I received excellent and successful professional treatment. Additional treatment not provided in their office was explained to my understanding and I received a referral to a specialist.

The staff is absolutely wonderful, my daughter is 9 and was in such bad pain they were able to fit us in right way, which is very hard to do with any dentist office. When we got there we were greeted with smiles and friendly faces, very professional and efficient. There was no wait and they got her right back. My daughter was terrified and in horrible pain and wouldnt let the staff do what they needed to to make her feel better, then Dr. Ann came in and talked with her she never left her side no matter how long it took she stayed right there to calm her down, her assistant sandy was was so sweet and explained everything to my baby before it was done, she held her hand and was so warm. I will defiantly be back, I have 5 other children so I believe we finally found our dentist despite the drive. Thank you all for such great work.with my girl.

I had an appointment for each of my 3 children. 2 hours after my appointments started, they had only seen one of my children. They also filled a cavity without even talking to me first? Maybe this is normal for this dentist, but I’ve never had a dentist proceed with work without so much as mentioning it to the parent. I left without my other two being seen and will find a new dentist.

I called in yesterday to see if they could email my x-rays to my family dentist. They said I would have to sign a release form. As they were about to close I told them I would be in the next morning. The next morning I show up at 8:30 (office opens at 8:00). No one is here, the office is all locked up. Double check the hours and they still say opens at 8:00. I have been waiting here for a half hour with attempts to call the office (and with helpful landscape crew attempting to call the owner personally) to no answers anywhere. Very unprofessional and rude. If you post your hours then be open during those posted times. This cost me my appointment at my family dentist because they didn’t have the x-rays and my tooth is still severely hurting.

Never coming to this place again. Front desk was nice, they’ve a Immigrant working at this place. Don’t get me wrong she was the sweetest person ever, her English wasn’t the best, and in the lobby speaking Spanish, we’re in the United States hire the right type of people.

This morning I woke up with a golf ball size abscess on my tooth, panicked I called them and they said to hurry over and they can squeeze me in between patients (yes they are actually open on most Saturday’s And do emergency care). I finally got in and they drained the abscess for me and helped relieve the pain I was in. The staff was incredibly accommodating, understood the pain I was in and tried to be as gentle as possible while taking x-rays. Dr. Anne used local anesthetic and warned me I would still feel it some as it’s infected and the abscess would prevent it from fully working. Even with that I still feel she did a great local block on my painful gum. I am a person who hates going to the dentist but after how well they treated me I will be going back every 6 months for cleanings and checkups. Thank you all so much, I was so blessed to have had you folks fit me in today, words cannot describe how truly grateful I am. If you’re looking for a great team to handle your dental needs go to them, you won’t regret it!

Very friendly and courteous staff. Also very affordable emergency service as I have no dental insurance. If you have one bad tooth you can go in how the tooth x-ray figure out the problem they tell you what you need to do to fix the problem for $29. I dont believe that there is anywhere else in the area let alone anywhere that will actually x-ray you diagnose your tooth problem give you antibiotics if needed for $29 excellent excellent excellent

I have not been able to find a Dentist that I trusted as must as Dr Mahoney. Our insurance changed and I lost my Dentist of 34 years. Norm found you first. My cleaning was efficient and comfortable. Amazing that I had no cavities, little plaque and I made my 6 month cleaning. Back on track with a caring and fun dental staff. Thank you!!!

My experience had been, the technician that took my kids in provided poor customer service refused to let me come in with my kids. Apart from that she passed us by numerous time without acknowledgement. I was the one greeting her when she came for my kids. I know you did phenomena in working on teeth. You need to do better in customer service and give customers option for their care.

Pleasant staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Called for emergency services and they got me in the same day. They took great care of me.

Dr. Ann, Jennifer, and Samantha were absolutely wonderful. Brother went in for an emergency appointment because he had his wisdom tooth break and needed it pulled. He was back in no time and the longest part of the procedure was waiting for the numbing agent to work. Dr. Ann was very pleasant and you could tell she really loved her job. She knew how to extract his tooth so as not to break it and make it a long process. Jennifer and Samantha were very friendly and helped throughout the appointment. The procedure did not break the bank like we were expecting an emergency surgery to cost. Very affordable and reliable care! Will begin to see them regularly now as a patient.

I wish my insurance would be able to do more on my teeth. I really love this place. My wife went here first and told me how much she loved it. She talked me into going after 15 years of not seing a dentist. I really felt comfortable. No one was rude or snooty!

They did a great job! I got both upper and lower dentures. They go thru several steps to make sure you get a perfect fit and that you are happy with product. The dentures fit perfectly and look great!

Dr Hari Priya is WONDERFUL, a hard working dentist who gives 110% effort to her clients!! She is an amazing dentist with a wonderful personality very easy to talk to and oddly enough even knows about Robinhood! She did for my teeth with no dentist in the past 30 years has done and fixed a couple of holes that were in my two front teeth!! I didnt need to ask her to do it she wanted my smile to be as nice as possible! She has given my husband and my son excellent care...
