Danielle is amazing. She knows so much about every type of hair. When she colors my haIr, it is never brassy or frizzy. She has taught me a lot. I highly recommend Danielle.

I did makeup for a wedding party during the weekend as they got their hair done at the salon. Sometimes, coming into a different business, not everyone is welcoming, but this wasnt the case.The staff was amazing!!! Everyone was so welcoming when I arrived. I had a spot in the back where I was able to set everything up.Even though I didnt get any services done from here, I would highly recommend!

This is my second time coming to salon rouge for formal hair. The ladies at the salon really came through! Kyle was about to complete 4 girls formal hair in an hour and a half. We all turned out amazing and hopefully it will stay through the night. I really appreciate that this was the ONLY salon in the area that I could find that was willing to have us come on a day they were closed. I will only come here for any formal hair needs

Our stylist was excellent and I would give her five stars. However, “ Desiree“ at the front desk was extremely rude on two different occasions today. There is one way to implement a policy the right way, she was rude with her mask and guest policy implementing it the wrong way. We will not be back.

I booked Salon Rouge for my wedding day and they did such a fantastic job! They were so professional and accommodating! They had a table all set up and ready to go so we could put out the food and drinks that we brought with us. And they provided coffee, tea and water! The minute we walked into the salon, the girls got to work! I didnt have to worry about a thing. The girls were organized and knew exactly what everyone wanted and moved quickly so we stayed on time. Several of my bridesmaids also had their makeup done by the hair stylists and they looked amazing! Everyone was very please with their hair and makeup! Also, they had this cute little chalkboard out in front of the salon welcoming our wedding party! It was so awesome! I highly recommend Salon Rouge and all the stylists that work there!

I went in and showed the hairdresser a picture of the length I wanted. The length ended up shorter, and one side was longer than the other. Too expensive for a bad haircut. The owner told me I should have better things to worry about during a pandemic.

I went there for haircut after the corona lockdown. They follow all the guidelines like using masks, spacing out the stations, asking the customer (me) to use hand sanitizer at the entry etc. My stylist was Ashley who was very professional and at the same time very friendly. She did a great job. Although I initially had some length in mind, Ashley suggested that I go a little shorter and my hair looks a lot better than I expected.

One of my daughters decided to have a home salon this morning, cutting her and her little sisters hair. I called Salon Rouge and they were able to take care of them both almost immediately! They both had a choppy head of hair to work with, but they did a wonderful job turning mayhem into magic. So thankful they could fit them in! I would DEFINITELY recommend them for their welcoming staff as well as their styling skills!

I have been here twice this year. I had a different person cutting my hair each time. Both were amazing. The customer service is wonderful and it is a relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend anyone to try it out.

Pros: Great stylists, Great haircuts.Cons: For whatever bizarre reason, Salon Rouge no longer allows you to put the gratuity on the credit card that youre paying with (The last time I went in Feb 2019, they DID charge tips to whatever card you pay with). It was made very clear today that I had to leave a cash tip, and they wouldnt charge it to the credit card I was already paying with. This is 2019. I rarely carry cash, and today was one of those days where I had no cash. Thats why Im paying with a card. If you pay with CASH, you leave a cash tip. If you pay with a CARD you leave the tip on the card. Now, if I dont want to stiff my stylist (who gave me a great haircut btw), I will have to drive almost an hour round trip completely out of my way (after going to an ATM) to bring her a cash tip, because of this ridiculous new policy. Again, this is 2019. Not everyone carries cash.

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Rouge! I was visiting South Bend for a wedding. I decided to have my hair blown out / styled, instead of doing my own. I couldnt have been happier with the results. Jessica did a great job and my hair came our exactly as I hoped. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stop back if I was in the area again!

I went to Salon Rouge yesterday for a haircut and partial highlight. I chose Jessica based on the reviews online and I am VERY satisfied with the color and cut that she did! I have been trying various salons throughout South Bend and Mishawaka for over 20 years and have to say, this is one of the best haircuts and colors Ive ever had. My husband even said so himself. I highly recommend this Salon and Jessica is very talented.

Everyone is so kind and welcoming, and since many of the stylists have been there for a long time its easy to get to know the people that are doing your hair and not have to worry about changing salons to stay with your stylist!Its comfortable and theyre always talking about the new things they learn in their classes and always stay up to date on the trends and innovations in product!Absolutely love and reccommend Salon Rouge in South Bend!!!!

After performing some service calls at Salon Rouge - South Bend I can see why they stay so busy. They are very professional in their dealings with people and provide an excellant service to their customers. I would definately recommend them as a salon for both men and women. A nice place with skilled staff, but my experience left me disappointed with the very conventional limits of that skillset. Its a midwestern place for midwestern people; nice, but non-threatening to a fault. No edge in the repertoire I was witness to.

Went for a face wax for my wedding photoshoot and told the person at salon that I need it for two days later. Ended up with face burns as in the picture (3 days after). Went to talk with the manager the day after photoshoot and asked for my money back. She said we can give you 12$ (out of fifty) because other parts of your face are ok (Guess I would have got my money back if they peeled my face!). Also she said if you write us negative reviews we will write a disclaimer! Good luck with that and hope you kiss goodbye to your attitude.

Worst experience I have ever had! Was charged for the salons mistake, treated poorly,and even the owner would not help fix or address the issue. Never go here for a color treatment! They can not help you! Or fix what they ruined! Go to salon Novou! They helped fix my hair...

I got my hair colored there and got ombre, one side of my hair on the left side is brown. The other side is pink. And I payed $120 for this???
