Had a bad hair cut experience somewhere else, waited 2 months to let hair grow out to get a better cut/style. I went on March 15th to the Great Clips at Erskine Plaza in South Bend, IN. My husband and son gets their haircuts here! The Great Clips in Erskine Plaza always does a great job and are very nice! I do not recommend the one on Main St. in Mishawaka though at all, so only go to this specific location!

I asked for a little trim off the top and they didn’t seem to listen very well. He cut my hair extremely short on the side and the top. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Computer systems are always the issue and why it takes so long to get a haircut. I Would RECOMMEND UPGRADING FROM WINDOWS 2009. ITS 2019 GREAT CLIPS. ALL THE HAIR STYLISTS ARE AWESOME AND DESERVE A MUCH FASTER COMPUTER SYSTEM TO DO THERE JOB. ILL TRY SOMEWHERE NEW FROM NOW ON.

So drove three minutes to facility because their app said there is 0 min wait. When I arrived there was One other there in chair and one other person that came in after me in store waiting for hair cut. There were 4 employees and only one was cutting someone hair. I was told there is 40 min wait. And the one other person that was there (after me), granted had checked in ahead of time, was brought right back as I was leaving. This was second time, at same facility I was turned away. 1st time, after waiting half hour and barber got me in chair, told me he couldn’t cut My hair because I had a scratch on top of my forehead and a hair may get into it and cause an infection. I said ok just cut side of hair then and they still refused. So if u r a minority don’t waste your time. Their obviously selective. Makes me sick in this day and age.

Decent prices, and the chain as a whole is pretty good, but this specific location has never given me the haircut I asked for even once. The first time, i let it go because the stylist framed my face well and made me look nice at least. But the two other occasions, the stylist didnt do it the way i asked at all, especially on my last visit in August. I looked and felt terrible, and upon contacting the manager and filing a complaint, i received no response. Wont be returning to the Great Clips in Erskine Village.

Rude staff, my sons hair cut was awful. Hope it grows back quickly. I didnt like the last girl that cut it. Over all its okay if you get a good hair stylist but you have better chances of winning the lottery.

I like this hair salon because they do a good job and are priced great! There is a free parking lot, salon is handicap accessible, and stylists are nice and friendly. Coupons are often available thru your mail with ads. If you download their app you can sign in from home and then drive there. That usually gets you in much quicker. I would definitely recommend!

Got my hair cut twice here and loved it. Had different girls and they were both great. I have very very long curly hair and they did a wonderful job. One of the girls also turned me onto a fantastic product they sell for curly/frizzy hair. They really know their stuff

Both me and my son got our hair cut together. Kaitlin did mine and she did a fabulous job. She didnt rush even though the lobby started filling up as soon as we sat down. Maci( i think was her name) cut my sons hair next to us. She is the reason for the low rating. I dont know if she just hates her job or or doesnt like working with kids, but if she is gonna work with kids she needs a better personality. The irritation in her voice and negativity when she talked to my very inquisitive child was not ok. Kids ask questions sounding annoyed at them for asking about your job is hurtful to them.

The way I like my hair cut is part of their computer system. I know I will always get the same cut done, no matter who cuts my hair. Prices are good and even better when they send out coupons for a hair cut.

Went to get the hair faded and lined up. Told the incompetent lady what I was looking for and the direction I was leaning towards with the hair. Didnt listen to a god damn of what I wanted. Now Im stuck wearing a hat for the next few months until it grows back and can get faded in by someone who knows what theyre doing. Like a barber! The place has always been great to go. However, their online check in is a major inconvenience to those who arrive there physically. Its not fair to have to wait long just because of people who dont have to wait physically.

I have a fave stylist, but the app doesnt allow me to schedule with only that person, or if she is working that day, no one answers the phone it goes straight to voicemail then hangs up....

I normally wear a flatop and this is one of the few places that has a stylist that can do it. Staff is very friendly. Busy location, save yourself some time and download the Great Clips app from the playstore and check in through the app.

Ive been coming here since I moved to South Bend in 2016. There were a couple of upsets where my hair was a little messed up. I brought it to their attention and the fixed it! After straying to other hair stylists and explaining the style I get, I was greeted with a look like I asked the stylist to rewire a space shuttle. These ladies know how to cut my hair the way I like it!

We arrived at this establishment at 8:32pm, they close at 9pm. When we walked in there were 2 employees there and they were counting out their cash drawer. They were visibly annoyed that we were there, with one of them even rolling her eyes as we walked in the door. She ended up being the one to cut my sons hair. They were both rude. My sons hair is long, one length and his haircut took less than 5 minutes and is uneven. The right side is at least an inch and a half shorter than the right. I would not reccomend this business and we will not return.

My teenage son received a haircut and he did not like it, so he returned the next day to have it fixed. After giving him a hard time, the hairdresser shaved a wide section of his hair, supposedly to create a hair part. It made a bad haircut even worse. He will sport this terrible haircut on his school photo. We are very disappointed, we have been customers for 4 years. We are not going back.

If not for Shanna, I would have been so pissed off that Id buzz my head rather than be seen out in public with a crappy cut that I got from Great Clips over in Merrifield Plaza in Mishawaka. If my review gets approved, consult it for details...Bottom line...I called ahead of time on my way to get my cut FIXED. Shanna did a great job doing everything she could possibly do to fix my cut form someone elses screw up! I will be going back to this location again next time I have a military drill weekend coming up and requesting her so I can get a cut that is done right, and done right the first time. Very well done, cant say the same for the last person...
