Awful, awful, place. If you have a choice I wouldnt take a dog there.

My dad was sent here after a below-knee amputation, for rehab. He was summarily sent home right after the mandatory 2-week COVID-19 quarantine, when the insurance money ran out, without having received any real therapy or rehab. He was sent home unable to care for his own basic needs, and before his wound had fully healed (creating a very dangerous situation). He had to be taken, by ambulance, back to a hospital 3 days later and is now in a different rehab facility getting actual therapy and improving his strength by the day. We would not choose Trailmix Village again if we had the choice to make over again (which we did a few weeks ago, hence his being in a new place this time).

Despite assurances my mother would receive excellent care in the rehab facility, time after time she was neglected and ignored. I would not recommend this facility for your loved one unless you dont mind them sitting in their own bowel movement for over an hour. She would page the nurse but the beeping would go unanswered for hours. Even my father couldnt find a nurse anywhere in the wing. Very poor care.

I went in today to visit a relative. The conditions were horrible. You cant slap some paint on the walls and say you have fixed a dump up. I would not take my dog there. I guarantee my relative will not be in this hell hole long.

This place has a very strong clinical team and an awesome new executive director. Also the new renovations look wonderful.

Personal items go missing with no accountability.Lack of staff attention during working hoursCleanliness is low. Trash bin emptied daily but dont expect the rooms to get swept or moped. I cleaned the bathroom myself just so it wouldnt stink so bad.Simple maintenance in the rooms is not done. Screws falling out of the beds, toilets running non-stop, wall switches not screwed in. Simple fixes not maintained.Management met with me and did nothing about concerns of care including falls.

Nice elderly folks home.
