This place is near and dear to my heart. Been camping there since I was a wee yun; the feeling of community is palpable and a bunch of resources are available. Bathrooms with multiple stalls and showers, a great playground, well-maintained land. Careful about getting a site for yourself though, as I believe there are no more vacancies.

Great place I wish I had a lot fishing was great and just a great place to relax.

Weve been members for almost 20 years and love it here. Both my sons and their families have memberships, too. Everyone here is so friendly. On the 4th of July they put on a terrific, professional fireworks show!

Buck lake is somewhat of a misnomer. Buck pond would be more accurate. In August its buck mudhole. Swiming is impractical. That being said, the campground is maintained. Its quiet. Rowdies are discouraged. Kid safe, although Im not sure if there is anything there for them to do, so you might have to entertain the little darlings yourself.

I grew up at Buck lake from pre k until 7th grade. I am been very blessed . Dad passed on, now we just visit my ex and children . Still feel very luckyBeautiful place.
