My training sessions are the highlights of my week! Training is personalized, motivating, and highly attentive. The space is beautiful, relaxing, and exceptionally clean and the equipment is well maintained. Ticks all the boxes and I dont think theres a better option out there.

Coach Kal is amazing! He tailors the workouts to your personal goals and encourages you to achieve. I love being trained by a professional athlete, and especially one who incorporates mindfulness and healthy living into the plan. Cant recommend him highly enough, and while the location is awesome, on the water, he also does zoom sessions and can work with whatever equipment you may or may not have. Hes great!

Peaceful Training is the place to be. I trained with Coach Kal in a 1:1 after I took a 6 month break hiatus from running and he helped me train properly for a half marathon again. Now I participate in his group speed training sessions. Not only have I gotten faster and lost weight, he helped me be more aware of my running like pacing, mindfulness, and effort levels. He teaches not only the exercise but the reasons why it is helpful to your goal. He makes sure that you are training smart and safe too. Highly recommended him for personal training and as a running coach.

Kal is great! He actually makes fitness fun! He is always positive, he is motivating and he helps make a workout more than just one more thing to do on the to do list. Kal uses a holistic approach where each custom tailored work out ends with a meditation or goal for the upcoming week. I feel stronger, fitter, and and have a better mindset now about fitness overall!

I had trained before and gotten in good shape. The problem was sustainability. Through Kal we have targeted my health, my body, and my mind. The later being the key to my success in sustaining my pursuit in staying healthy. I can truly say that I have been shown the way to inner peace. Oh yea, I am in great shape also. Kal rocks!

Ive had the pleasure of working alongside Kal as a manager of The Seattle Gym, where he trains, for the past three and a half years. In that time I have seen him inspire growth and confidence in some of the younger boys that he works with and I have watched him coach all of his clients in mind, body and spirit. I love Kals unique approach to training and as a Nike coach and a former Georgetown athlete he certainly has a wealth of experience to draw from as well! I would highly recommend Kal to anyone looking for a well-rounded approach to training as well as those who are looking for a trainer who specializes in track and field/running.

I started working out with Kal of Peaceful Training last winter, with the poorly defined goal of I just feel like I should be more fit. He helped me decide where Id get the most benefit out of fitness for my lifestyle, and 7 months later I am better able to keep up with my kids, slimmed my waste by 3 inches, and have a much greater personal sense of inner calmness. Best of all, Kal wrote workouts for me that are sustainable. Ive worked with personal trainers (long ago) who wanted me to do everything their way and said I wouldnt succeed. Rather than putting the horse blinders on like those trainers, Kal took them off and showed me how much I could do on my own- and the success has been fantastic!

Cant recommend Peaceful Training enough! Ive been running with the Peaceful Training led Ravenna Brew Sunday runs since the start of 2018. The Sunday run is open to all abilities and levels of fitness and are very family friendly (its not unusual to see people running with strollers). These runs have helped provide structure to my workouts, keep me motivated, and made me feel apart of a community of diverse and supportive people.Coach Kal really goes above and beyond for these runs. Each week he creates 4 different length runs on Strava, which he emails out to everyone to look over ahead of time. The runs are carefully planned and allow runners to consider their options beforehand and learn the route. Kal is super knowledgeable, having run for Georgetown and then as a professional Nike athlete. Hes approachable and always makes sure to check in with each runner before and after the run. In addition to his running expertise, theres an aspect of Mindfulness that he brings to the runs. For me, this helps to remind me to listen to my body, stay safe, and stay in the moment.In addition to the Sunday runs, I recently met with Kal for a personal training session, which I found to be incredibly helpful. He helped me create a training routine that would build on my current abilities and one that Im able to do mostly from my home.Whether youre looking for help in training for a marathon or just want to stay fit, Peaceful Training is an amazing resource. Definitely worth checking out.
