Excellent patient care. Having a total joint replacement can be scary but Susan and Dr. Pritchett make it easy. They are always willing to answer any questions to help you through the process and put you at ease. I LOVE my new joint. Heading back for the other knee at the end of the month!!

How can I rate ProOrtho and Doctor Pritchett 10 stars? 8 days ago Doctor Pritchett performed my right hip resurfacing. I traveled from Chicago to Seattle for the procedure. The ProOrtho staff was helpful throughout the entire process of preliminary online appointments, paperwork, and information for having the most smooth travel surgery possible. From minor details to the surgery itself; I always felt that I was in good hands. Today my old pains are gone and I am recovering.I wish I could write a longer review of Dr. Pritchett but I will simply say... His reputation precedes him and I found him to be professional, caring, confident. I recommend this Dr. And practice without reservation.

Dr Prichett is a world class surgeon. He has done both of my husband’s hips and now one for me. I had the resurfacing done, and am only 14 days post surgery. I could not be happier with the results! We travel quite a distance to see him, but many (including physicians) travel from all over the country to have him perform their surgeries. I would always choose him first.

After 30 years of dealing with a slowly degrading hip due to bone spurs, decided to get a hip resurfacing procedure by Dr. Pritchett at ProOrtho clinic in Seattle. So far, everything has turning out great. The clinic was impressive, the medical team was fantastic, and Dr Pritchett was wonderful. I felt completely confident that I had selected the best Dr and clinic, and they proved it every step of the way. It’s only 5 days post surgery however I am healing well, walking without the aid of crutches, and noticing less pain (although still on pain killers). In any case, I feel good that I had one of the world’s top surgeons in hip resurfacing, at a very nice modern facility, and with a great medical team. I am a 56 year old male, very active in sports, and looking forward to getting ‘back at it’.

At day 6. Hip resurfacing procedure went far beyond my expectations. Staff and doctor know what they are doing. Providing realistic expectations. My fear was the biggest obstacle. After 4 days I began the ability to walk unassisted up and down a hallway. But continue to use one crutch. The process of sitting can be difficult but once down you good. Muscle Stiffness around the incision site. Little to no pain at or around the joint site. Exercise, ice, hydration and stool softener was key.Day five follow up visit post-op x-rays, visit with the doctor and flight back home. Repeating this procedure would be without concern or fear. So far so good.David

Two new hips (resurfacing) ten weeks apart and could not be happier. Second hip done two weeks ago and am back at work. Dr. Pritchett is a skilled surgeon and if I had another hip to fix , he would do that one too.

Dr. Pritchett performed a hip resurfacing procedure on my left hip in April 2019. It’s been life changing! My journey began a year ago when I was running a race and couldn’t finish because I was in a lot of pain from what I thought was a groin or inner thigh injury. I thought I’d rest for a couple of months and it would be healed. When the pain didn’t go away, I went to see my GP. After imaging and blood tests were complete, the diagnosis was arthritis in my left hip. I was referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon who basically told me I was too young (I’m 50 years old) for a hip replacement. Apparently a person can only have 2 hips replacements in their lifetime, so it wasn’t even a consideration until age 60 or 65. Physical therapy was suggested and I was given a referral to see a pain management doctor. After many PT sessions, pain meds, essential oils later, I opted to try stem cell therapy (very expensive as it’s not covered by insurance). The stem cell therapy did help reduce the pain, but didn’t do anything for mobility or range of motion - so I continued to limp and experience sharp shooting pain when bending over or walking too fast. I had to give up running, hiking, skiing and yoga. I was depressed and frustrated. Then I heard about Dr. Pritchett and hip resurfacing from a client and an acquaintance. Both had 100% recoveries. I traveled 3 hours to see Dr. Pritchett and learned I was a candidate for surgery. It’s been 6 weeks since my surgery and I already feel better than before surgery! I’m walking unassisted, without a limp. I’ve lost 20lbs, have zero pain and have full range of motion. Yesterday I hiked 5 miles and felt amazing! Dr. Pritchett gave me my life back. He and his staff are kind and professional. I’d highly recommend Dr. Pritchett!!!

Dr. Pritchett and his team provided efficient service in addressing my left hip resurfacing. Surgery is never a pleasant experience but Dr. Pritchett and his team enabled successful outcome, to speak legions of excellence. I live on the east coast of the US and traveled to Seattle to experience the very best surgeon, applying his vast knowledge and many years of experience to the best available technology. Its roughly one-week following surgery and progress is nothing short of remarkable.August 2019 Update- I met with Dr. Pritchett and his assistant, Susan, on August 3rd as a follow up to the left hip resurfacing. Thanks to their support and Dr. Pritchett’s skilled hands, I now enjoy no pain in my hip and can do the outdoor activities that I once enjoyed, with NO restrictions. Additionally, Dr Pritchett carefully reviewed and analyzed my son’s shoulder and back issues. He explained the pluses and minuses of surgery and helped us to understand the best course of actions. We are so grateful of Dr. Pritchett.
