The “clean and sober” mission often spills over with folks who act out publicly on the surrounding sidewalks and streets. BoLM needs support to keep offering service while not driving people away from surrounding businesses. It’s a delicate balance that sometimes is lost.

If you are a veteran with a good heart, do not go here. They gave me no information on procedures nor supplied proper bedding.Apparently if you have a job and don’t make it in before 11, you’re stuck outside. If you work three days in a row then you get kicked out. Unbeknownst to me, they are supposed to take your left behinds as a donation and strip your bed and throw personal items away. When I arrived, as I told them I would because I couldn’t get i things by myself, the guys at the front desk acted like they did not know who I was. After a brief argument they proceeded to the room to get my things to gather my things. Upon leaving I noticed my luggage was extremely light. they said that they packed everything and that everything else was thrown in the trash. they stole my items and they show no respect for war veterans. then they ask me “what do you think we can do about it because your things are already gone? how do we proceed from here? What do you want to do?” I didn’t know, I had just lost every piece of clothing I had and my roommate had on my shirt and my shoes in his laundry bag. And my only option is “get some clothes out of the left behind box.” Though, they said that they threw all of my items in the trash.I never received a copy nor did they receive a signed copy of the orientation documents because no one told me about one. they argued that they followed every procedure and are stating that all of my things were donated. but my bed was in the manner; but I still had documents under my blanket.

I tried to get on a program for chemical dependancy. The black man working the desk was a rude bully. At 10am he told me, that at noon, there will be someone to talk to me. So after waiting for over 2 hrs. I asked..how much longer..he barked at me and said the person who was going to talk to me was busy at the moment. I waited 3 more hrs. No one talked to me..I waited 5 hrs for nothing!!..this desk man ignored me the whole time. I never got on a program or had a place to stay.

Just joined and I needed no rehabilitation, just a place to start over and get my career started again and they understood that sometimes things happen in life. The R.V. program is perfect for just this kind of thing as it lets you earn your keep while working a normal job and saving so that this time you can find the right people to be around who are like-minded in having life-long goals. Everyone there is from all walks of life and have their own stories to share and help you along the way.

Not a very bad shelter considering whats out there.Im a vet whos been staying there for a while. They work to their utmost to keep the place modest. If you dont want to do better or just be a scoundrel who just drags others down, u get barred, which is good. The place is clean and showers are mandatory.Great inexpensive place to start off at. They are open to improvement and criticism. This place is full of positivity :)

This mission does their best to help people out! They have quite a population to take care of and I think they are doing exceedingly well for what they have to offer! Also if youre looking for the right staff member to talk to, then I would recommend Tino. Hes definitely the most compassionate one out of the rest of the staff.

This is the MOST UNCHRISTIAN-LIKE shelter there is. Although the food is pretty good - there is always the HOSTILE environment of drug-users, criminals, past criminals, gang members, thugs, bullies, etc. and they not only FAIL to seek to understand first and show NO compassion... but, they harass those who are disabled - without ever knowing they are disabled, and harass those that are left kidney donors. One comment from a guy there said - you think that since you donated a kidney youre going to go to heaven. Thats not true and I never said that. Im a REAL Christian - not someone that pretends to be. I worship in the HOME - where the Bible clearly says that we are supposed to worship... not in some chapel, some temple - a church with a huge GRAVEN IMAGE hanging on the wall. The preachers that come in there to preach are VERY CLUELESS... and they are contradicting their OWN actions because they ARE being conformed to the world... especially when they are MARRIED and their wife shows NO modesty - and NOT abiding by 1 Peter 3:3 - 3:5 (about wearing make-up, jewelry, etc.). The THUGS that are in that place dont understand this. They attack me for clearly DEFINING what the Bible says - as I didnt say it. So, I DID speak out a number of times and I would again - IF I ever attended. I told them that I spoke out to PROTECT Gods flock and what they are doing is leading Gods flock down the WRONG road. So, no... this place is just a VERBALLY ABUSIVE, BAD ENERGY type of place and you would NOT want to stay there if you are a Christian. Its better to worship in the HOME - as the Bible clearly says (Romans 16:5: Greet the church that is in the home.).Amen!

It looks as this place runs by some thugs . The attitude is always unwelcome , impolite and aggressive .Another one of those Social Services (Seattle) which has very little if any to do with the aid , assistance and support it declares as his guidelines and goals .Like few other organizations (Seattle) its main objective is to get a share , as big as possible , from the state and federal social / public-health budget .Those who are close to the plate will get to enjoy it , not the indigentes who are in need and this establishment is there to serve .Dummies under fake name in a no-purpose organization .

It is a very good place, you will find programs, breakfast, food, a place for sleeping, storage service, mailing service, shower service. At 9:30 AM you will find food is coming from Starbucks, e.g. chocolate croissant, coffe, etc... You will probably find sandwiches and another kind of food at middle of the day too. You will sleep in a double bed cabin, the first two nights the User will need to register, with any ID (drive licences, passport, passport card, etc) the two nights are free but after of two nights you must pay 5 UDS per night and you can just pay with debit or credit card, you can not pay with cash. The price of Storage service is 35 USD, the mailing service currently is free.
