Store is currently closing at 5pm, not 6, and I arrived five minutes to closing as result. The staff were still very friendly and helpful, especially as a weird individual had followed me in and was behaving very aggressively and alarming. Once he had been shooed out they let me make my purchase and made sure I was okay. Thank you to the staff that were there today. 💕

Such an amazing selection. Their essential oils are the best Ive ever smelled and include titles such as Rain and Ocean that actually smell like it sounds! To top it off, all the folks who work there are some of the nicest people Ive met. Love this place.

I was in the area yesterday and decided to stop in. The store was not open but the employee who was just coming in to work opened up a little early for me. I really appreciated that since they didnt have to. They answered some questions I had and were really friendly. Told me since I lived far south I could have items shipped to me also. That was super nice to hear. Picked up some Kava and crystal for my car. Alway a nice experience.🙂

I suffer from chronic, debilitating neck & back pain. Eric steered me to the best and most effective product Ive ever used. Ive purchased several more for family because we cannot get over the difference this product makes. My co-workers were blown away as well. Needless to say, I have complete faith in Erics recommendations from here on out.This shop is has everything my herb-loving heart desires. Their selection of essential oils and flower essences is very impressive; their bulk herb stock is the best Ive found and their book section is varied and appeals to a wide variety of interests. If you cant make it to their magical store in person, then their website is the next best thing. You wont get to meet Eric and the rest of the amazing crew but you will receive the highest quality product at a fair price.

I don’t usually write reviews, but today I stumbled upon this place and knew instantly the energy was all kinds of correct (not to mention the super kind gentleman behind the counter.) I normally cleanse my crystals after one calls out to me, but the crystal I bought here didn’t need cleansing. Magical space, not gimmick-y as so many similar shops can sometimes be. This is a true gem. Inscence, tarot cards, potions, amulets, medicine bags, oils, tonics, supplements of varying intensities and everything you could need is here. Do yourself a favor and go, even if just to inhale the aura.

Crystals are not authentic. “rose quartz” is glass with pooled pink dye in the cracks.

Its a place for the senses. The staff is also wonderfully knowledgeable. I visit whenever I can.

I’ve been shopping at this wonderful place since I was a teen .. I consistently visit this place and find cures to my skin issues to my digestive problems. They are always so helpful and very caring.. always ready to help and do the best they can t get you what you need. I’m very greatful for this place I truly appreciate it and continue to support it. I love this place! I also love that its nestled in the back of Pike Place, off the beaten path, away from the sound of tourists. I feel like I am transported back to the early days of Pike Place, heading to my local apothecary to garner up my herbs, spices, and essential oils. Its truly a wholesome atmosphere.

Tenzing Momo is one of my favorite places. All kinds of cool stuff in there. Incense, essential oils, herbs and everything in between. I buy all my essential oils here, great prices, friendly knowedgeable staff. Highly recommended. 5 Stars.

Ive been shopping Tenzing Momo for body oils since 1981. Ive tried various health store oils and online oils. None compare to Tenzing Momo.

I have been coming to this shop for several decades. I love their selection of essential oils, incense, and other exotic trinkets. Its a must visit when Im at Pike Place. The staff is another matter entirely. They are rude and will ignore you until you awkwardly have to ask for their attention to check you out or answer a question. They sit back there joking around together being too cool for the customers. But I get it. They see a lot of faces and if thats the way they want to come across to paying customers, thats their business. I enjoy the store, not necessarily the people in it.

I LOVE this shop -- just walking over its threshold instantly puts my mind at ease, and in a calm, peaceful, and happy state. They have an amazing selection of incense, stones, books, soaps, herbs, and oils -- some mainstream (Burts Bees, Dr. Bronner), some not-so-mainstream (the shop offers its own products, as well).The prices are *excellent*, and it is one of the few stores like it (Rainbow Natural Remedies & Zenith Supplies come to mind, but they are in the Capitol Hill and Roosevelt neighborhoods, respectively).Tenzing Momo is definitely my favorite.

Very helpful and very well stocked. The only thing is, if youre a local, the prices are not for you. The prices are inflated for the tourists that come through the Market. Ive asked, and they are inflexible with the prices. So although they are the shop closest to me, with the best stock and best selection (and best energy) I will have to go somewhere else.

I dont get to Seattle very often but found this place in 1990. One of the best shoppes of this variety I have ever encountered. It is a must visit place. They make the best patchouli oil I have ever used.

I have been frequenting Tenzing Momo since the early 1980s....They have always provided high quality services and products...Thier extensive knowledge of herbs and tinctures never cease to amaze me.....I highly recommend them...Thank you for assisting on this journey of life.......

I have been to this establishment quite a few times over the years.The poor service has been so consistently bad that I have to putmy two cents in.I work in retail and understand the pressures of customer service.I also understand that relationships are developed with co-workers.The customer should never feel like they are intruding onsomeones conversation in a retail setting. Thats how I always feel there.There was no attempt to speak at a lower volume with the twoemployees cursing and carrying on casually about their personallives. There was also a sense of irritation at the customerswalking into the store, who were not welcomed or acknowledged.The selection of merchandise is well enough to keep me comingback despite the poor service. Perhaps the employees should bepaid a commission in order to be even slightly interested in thecustomer.

Great selection of herbs, teas, essential oils, incense and candles. Though consistently busy, the staff are extremely helpful and willing to answer questions.

TENZING MOMO is my favorite place to just enjoy my senses in the whole of Seattle !!! Next to the SIFF i take TM with me whenever i think about that city !!As an Artist , everything about Seattle , at one time, was sOOOO perfect: the Light, the Smell of the sea, the appearance of a different , beauteous view around every corner, the hills, and mostly, i guess, the MIX of many peoples!!! As a person raised and bred in NYC it was quite a revelation to actually be part of the Pacific Rim, in a way (i AM a Romantic and still protect my ideals if possible. Laughable, to some, i know. i DO read the World News and etc. but COME ON!!! Well, thats how i felt about the whole thing of Seattle....and i hadnot even fallen in love with my partner-to-be, yet!! i, and later WE, would always stroll around the Market for goodies:Sourdough bread at 3 Girls or that great cippino next door to them or goof on the tourists watchin the flying fish!! Homemade jewellery, friends, and of course: TENZING MOMO !!! I still have my chart for reading the Iris of the eye, and a necklace from Tibetan bones made into little skulls!! And the oils....Heliotrope, bitter Almond (be careful! it stings!!), and experimenting with the smells of a million radiant gardens!! ..until your nose just CRASHES!!!! i started to acquire my TM habit in the early 80s until rich people ruined the whole thing and i had to move again! (first NYC, SanFran, Seattle and now ??? Portland, Maine) i still get goodies on-line from there and miss some of Ss greatest hits like the FilmFest and ridin the ferry just cause its a nice day, day trips to LaPush or Port Townsend and the great blending of so many cultures. but, as i said: Tenzing Momo ....a whiff of one of their oils and i am transported back there!!! thanx 4 reading this. Now this is an apothecary. Service is great, selection is amazing.

Cute little place and one of the only places to get things like dragons blood! Their prices are fair but be careful if you have breathing problems because the shop is heavily scented from their products.
