Initially, I had a great experience with Ultra until I had shoulder sprains. I informed the doctor, but he insisted on doing an adjustment on me stating that adjustment can help with the muscle sprains. However, I felt so much worse after adjustment: I cannot move my neck at all, I can barely walk and I had to lie on the bed for 2 days to recover (no exaggeration). I have consulted with other chiropractors and they said I shouldnt get the adjustment given its purely muscle sprains. After that, I just no longer trust the doctor at Ultra.Somehow it does not allow me to respond to your response. Yes, I am writing for the right clinic. Dr. Derek treated me. My last adjustment was Feb/Mar 2021. You could definitely check the records. I did come back for massage but I never got an adjustment after that.

Went to Ultra (via a friend referral) due to neck/shoulder pain from long hours working a desk job. Received a treatment plan to help with the pain and strengthen my spine. Love the adjustments, massages and care provided by the docs (oh and the administrative staff rock with working with my insurance and explaining coverage to me). I refer all my friends to Ultra.

I had 2 car accidents in New York in 2019, i was rear ended coming back from work and 5 days after i was rear ended again coming from my physical therapy. There’s a lot of people in New York that are not safe drivers. Moved to Seattle because of my traveling job, so i continued my therapy here. I found on the internet “Ultra Chiropractic”, the best Chiropractors that i ever had. Dr. Shaun, Dereck, and Jeremiah are so good in what they do. They made sure that all of my concerns physically and emotionally were taken cared of. Very professional and empowering, did great jobs in doing my adjustments and talking about anything else that they can do to help. The massage therapists David & Tomas are incomparable to any therapists. Deep pressure massages were really great on those painful sites. They placed their mind & heart in helping me get better. Just coming inside, you will be greeted by Shane, receptionist, with his welcoming smile and positive attitude. Where else can i have such good people person to ease all my pain from the accidents, except from ULTRA CHIROPRACTIC. Highly recommended to everyone!!!

Everything about this place is great! The people, atmosphere and care you receive all wonderful. I did 3 adjustments a week for 4 weeks with a massage once a week for 4 weeks combined with at home yoga and stretching daily and I honestly cant believe how great my neck and back feel. My coworker has recently started treatment here because she noticed a difference in me and I am excited for her. I really cant say enough good things!

I started getting adjusted at Ultra during the middle of summer and I was feeling an excruciating amount of pain in my lower back and left hip area/knee. But after sitting down with Dr. Jeremiah he was able to help me identify some of the issues that I was experiencing. Not only has the treatment been great but the overall experience has been wonderful. With the treatment I recognized that they were very intentional with their patients at Ultra.Along with the great conversation and witty jokes. Jeremiah was able to help me focus on how to stretch better, identify what parts of the body affect each other, and set goals/routines to having a healthier back. Over the course of these past few months we went after it, doing multiple adjustments week after week. Then slowly moving into a bi-weekly routine of coming in. Now I am able to rotate my body way more efficiently before.When I come into the office I’m treated with a very inviting atmosphere. Everyone at Ultra is so friendly and cares about your interests and health. I can definitely say that if I hadn’t met Jeremiah that I wouldn’t know where I’d be thinking about my overall health goals at the moment. I simply adore Shane because no matter how inconsistent I am with my appointments he always makes sure to take care of me when I need to reschedule an appointment and always just super friendly. Ive been a patient at Ultra Chiropractic for a few years but recently had an elbow injury from repetitive work. They recommended the cold laser therapy to help bring down the inflammation and I noticed improvement after the first treatment. That coupled with Graston therapy by Dr Jeremiah and I am almost pain free! Ultra is always my go to when anything hurts, they are flexible with scheduling and all the staff is friendly and genuine. I highly recommend :)

10/10 would recommend. I’ve been coming to Ultra Chiropractic for almost a year now with weekly visits and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I’ve received. I came in the first time with such extreme pain I could barely breathe, sleep, or do anything in my daily routine. After about two weeks of treatment/adjustments I was functional again but have continued to go in order to treat my long term and underlying problems. After having been to several practices through the years I can say that everything about Ultra Chiropractic is on point. The staff is very knowledgeable and and no matter which doc you get, (Sean, Derek, Jeremiah) you can be sure you’re in good hands.

Ive been going to chiropractic my whole life. Ultra is the best. Their chiropractors always know how to find that exact spot for pain relief and to further healthy mobility. I wouldnt go anywhere else in the Seattle area.

Never been a client, I have however took a much needed rest from walking all over the area and sat down on their large front porch/landing area of this business. There is a 7-11 store right across the street where one can buy a decent lunch or cold soda or Slurpee and sit down at Ultra Chiropractic Centers landing and take a load of and if your going anywhere north you cat h the Metro Transit #74, or #67 northbound to Roosevelt district or to the downsizing Northgate Mall .

Professional. Personable. All you could ask for and more in a chiropractic center. They really individualize their treatment plans and check in with each client. I am always looking forward to an adjustment with Dr. Jeremiah!

Drs. Reynolds, and Cardenas are exceptionally good chiropractors. I did not expect as rapid, and complete recovery from an automobile accident as I experienced.

Even through my financial limits, they kindly helped me through better options for the best experience there. Their front desk is always kind and helpful through my scheduling and they always let me feel welcomed. All of the doctors are interactive with you and friendly. They explain my condition not only in symtoms but in science through very nice word choices that I can understand. I am so glad I found this place!

Ive went to this chiropractor several dozen times for low back pain. The chiropractors here are highly experienced and easy going, the office is in a great location (near downtown U District), and the massage room is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

I wrenched my back this week and could barely walk. I am a tennis coach and personal trainer, so this injury would have sidelined me during some of the best weather of the year. Ive known about Ultra Chiropractic for some 15 years and it was my first choice for treatment. I got an appointment the same day with Dr. Shane Walton. He gave me a comprehensive diagnosis, x-ray and adjustment that allowed me to start healing right away. The next day I was able to walk, climb stairs and even keep appointments with my clients. At the followup appointment, he was able to show me exercises I could do at home to strengthen my lower back. Id like to thank Katie at the front desk for getting me on the schedule so quickly. My injury was painful and I would have suffered more if Ultra wasnt so flexible.Thanks again, Rob Johnson

These guys have you pull your own neck, call it PT, and charge you 50 bucks for it. Then they spend 2 minutes popping your back and charge you another 50 bucks. Unabashed crooks. Plus, they begged me for a review so here it is :)

I also (as noted in another review) have no faith that these chiropractors have any idea what they are doing besides their regular routine. I am still suffering a year later from the treatment I received at Ultra Chiropractic in 2017.I went to Ultra seeking help with a stiff neck. I found the adjustments by Dr. Derek quite violent and frankly, a bit frightening. I had done several adjustments - they werent really helping with my neck issue but was told it takes time.During my appointments they slowly added in adjustments to my ankles, not sure what that had to do with my neck issue? The final straw was the day that Dr. Derek (they like to call themselves doctors) decided to adjust my shoulder *even though in the initial meeting it was noted that I had dislocated a shoulder years ago and had scar tissue apparent on my x-ray.The adjustment happened so fast, I had no warning. Long story short, my shoulder has now bothered me for the past year despite on-going massage and physical therapy. I have constant discomfort and arm numbness that wakes me EVERY night. This is a direct result of the treatment I received from Ultra in October 2017.

Ive been going to Ultra for almost a year now and I like it a lot. It feels great to get adjusted, and it only takes a few minutes each visit. The staff are really great - they pay attention to what you need and how youre feeling, and theyre very personable. I get massages every once in a while and those are great too.

I injured my back 20 years ago, and despite physical therapy and chiropractic care at other places, I was never happy with the results. I started going to Ultra Chiropractic a little over a year ago starting with frequent visits and eventually moving to a maintenance level that works for me. Everyone who works there is professional and friendly, and they got me to the point where I can go out and do normal activities without worrying about how long my back would last. It doesnt replace physical therapy or other types of exercise you may do or need to do, but Id say you will get a much better outcome by incorporating chiropractic care as part of a healthy lifestyle, and these guys are outstanding in their field.

I was lucky enough to meet the staff here at the University Street Fair. Every one of them is professional, kind, and truly interested in helping. Treatment is quick and effective. Really great place and people.

Dr. Reynolds had been working with me to resolve an old whiplash injury when I was involved in another car accident. I called the office that day and was told to come in. Late on a Friday, Dr, Reynolds was able to get x-rays taken and give me instructions on how to deal with the coming back and neck pain. After eight months I am feeling amazing. Not only has Dr. Reynolds helped my health through chiropractic care, hes been paramount in pushing me to make healthy decisions in terms of eating habits, life choices, daily exercise, and overall outlook on life. My overall health has been positively affected significantly by my decision to bring Dr. Reynolds, and the ultra chiropractic team into my healthcare. I feel like a part of the family, and visits to my doctor are great experiences that I look forward to.Ive had the opportunity to visit several chiropractors, but in my experience, Dr. Reynolds is the best. I had never been to a chiropractor before, and I was a bit nervous about what to expect. This was a preventative visit, so since I wasnt feeling any pain, I wasnt sure what they were going to do to me. The doctor explained everything in detail beforehand, and his knowledge and experience made the entire visit much less intimidating! A few quick and painless adjustments later, and Im already feeling much more mobile than before! Id highly recommend this office and all of its staff members!

Ultra Chiropractic is the best chiropractic office ever! I’ve been coming here since my car accident a year ago and they’ve helped me so much on my road to recovery. I went to other places before, and this place is the best. All staff are super friendly, courteous, and helpful, always making sure you’re taken care of and up to date. My massage therapist is Aera, and she’s amazing! She specializes in neuro-fascial massage and is always actively learning new techniques, such as Thai Table style massage and more, to help recovery. She has a diverse set of skills and is super knowledgeable when it comes to massage methods and the body anatomy. I visited Dr. Reynolds after herniating a disk in my neck and experiencing severe pain, lack of mobility, along with a fear of surgery. I have been under the care of Dr. Reynolds since 2005 when I was in a car accident. My 1st series of x-rays showed that my neck was very straight, which is not good. I had been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for years. After several years of care at Ultra Chiropractic, the normal curve was restored to my neck, which relieved pressure from my shoulders. Dr. Reynolds does the best neck adjustment Ive ever had. I had also been diagnosed with mild scoliosis in my 20s, which was confirmed by an x-ray required for medical insurance. By the time I had my last set of x-rays at Ultra, the scoliosis was no longer evident.Unfortunately, I no longer live in Seattle, and have not yet found a chiropractor equal to Dr. Reynolds where I now live. I visit the clinic when I am in town. My years of treatment have had a positive lasting effect. By the time I moved away, I was on maintenance care. I also learned about the chiropractic lifestyle at Ultra Chiropractic. Its something that I use daily to maintain wellness. Ask Dr. Reynolds about it.

The doctors are not naggy in any way, but they genuinely care about their patients and overall wellness. Id like to thank the whole Team at Ultra Chiropractic, Ive known Dr. Reynolds for over 10 years now. Dr. Shawn is not just a chiropractor to me. From my very first visit, he has always been concerned with my well being. I went there because of a back injury, and what I experienced was a lifestyle change. I learned about exercise and nutrition, and how to care for my whole self - mind body and spirit. The experience I have had at Ultra Chiropractic has been instrumental in improving my entire quality of life.

They are very thorough, adjustment was the best I ever had--no bone goes uncracked. For new patients though they have you take a bunch of x rays and measurements and then require a follow up appointment later to go over results so its very thorough but also a little inconvenient. If you are a UW student be sure to use their coupons in the Student Survival Kit (you can get them in any UW bookstore) and then the consultation with xrays are only $10.

I went here because of all the positive reviews. I got a good impression at first, hoping that my problems would be addressed. Every appointment I would tell them a place where it hurts. They didnt even feel around for anything, even when I directly asked them to. How can you fix my back problems without feeling around for abnormalities? Every single time they would do the same 10 minute routine, not focusing at all on where I pointed out. They would go on and say lets revisit this on your sixth appointment. When the sixth appointment came around they didnt change their routine, its as if they forgot. They would just pat me on the back and point me to the door so that the next person waiting could lay down. The service was just too impersonal and completely ineffective.After I complained about it, they switched me to another doctor. I got excited because I thought he would actually do something about my chest and upper back pain. I came in, the new doctor sat me down and promised that hed make an effort to address my problems. I never got to talk to the old doctor, so it felt extremely awkward to walk into the office as he avoided eye contact with me, which adds to my suspicion that they dont actually care. I went for a few visits with the new guy and the 10 minute routine never changed; my pain still persisted. I stopped going because I found that I wasted my money for a day of temporary relief; theres no real results because the staff apparently only knows one 10 minute routine to efficiently milk their customers.To add to the impersonal annoyance, I told the front desk to stop calling me. Every few weeks, Ill get a call telling me to come back in. I get spam voicemails with these scripted messages which reminded me to write this review.This place is great for placebo relief. But my last chiropractor (who is now retired) actually cared about his clients, listened to them, and got great results. When asking about results here, all I got was excuses. This place is just a faceless excuse to milk their customers for money. Wash, rinse, repeat.I would not recommend this place if you want to ease your back pain.
