I purchased the Groupon for USA Vein Clinics sclerotherapy (4 injections). First of all the wording is confusing. I was thinking I would go for four visits, but what you are paying for is 4 syringes of the product all used at that one visit. So, if you don’t need 4 then you just paid for extra because you don’t get to go back and use the unused/unnecessary product at a later date. The cost is pretty great though for either service, but just thought it was worth mentioning. The women who work in the office have thick, Eastern European accents and are not the most warm and friendly and the office is not inviting or updated. They do an ultrasound on your legs whether you want it or not and you stand on these homemade plywood boxes with cheap bathroom rugs lining the top of them. The doctor was wonderful, quick and efficient with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him, but his nurse was very irritated with the compression stockings I brought in and scolded me (yes, and I’m 41) for not having stockings with more compression and then further stating how pointless the service is when you don’t have the proper after care. This tirade was AFTER I told her I have a better pair at home that I wasn’t able to locate before my appointment time but WOULD be finding and wearing them as soon as I returned home. There is a proper way to let someone know the benefits of the after care of a procedure like this but as a grown woman I do not appreciate being berated by another grown woman.

I dont want to give Dr. Cahn a bad review because he is great. Its the system the clinic uses to book their appointments. 3 appointments ago I show up for my appointment (early) and was told right away by Dr. Cahn they were overbooked with a sincere apology and asked me if Id reschedule for the following week. I had NO problem with this as I was acknowledged and the issue was brought up to me right away. I rescheduled for the following week, show up and the technician is out sick. I got text reminder after text reminder plus voice-mail after voice-mail (borderline harassment) of the appointment reminder. Again, not Dr. Cahns fault. So once again I leave. That time I just told him Im really busy and Ill reschedule when I have more time. There are no issues I should say with booking appointments! They take too many. This is the issue. I made an appointment last week for today. I show up early as I always do. My appointment time is 9:24. The technician tells me to have a seat before I check in..so I do so.... Dr. Cahn comes out shortly after and has me sign in. 30 min. later close to 10 a.m. the technician has been helping another patient get checked in and is bringing her back I politely catch her and ask, what time approx. she thought I might be seen. She says, it will be at least 30-40 min as shes the only technician and reiterates shes about to take this patient back. She tells me then that this is normal to wait this length of time and if I didnt want to wait that long I should come when they open at 8. I wasnt rude to her. I gave no attitude. I just said ok, and told her I wasnt going to wait. I gave no explanation as clearly I can see she is busy and annoyed with me. There was no point or ever is to being rude in my opinion so I just left. She kind of smirked. Again, I wasnt rude to her so Im not sure why she seemed annoyed with me. I just didnt care to waste my morning waiting. When they send the text and voice-mail reminders their automated system should also notify people that their policy so to speak is a 30-40 min wait time after checking in. The check in seems to be key. Im not sure why the technician was having me hold off on checking in when I arrived... so my question is this, what is the point of an appointment time? Question mark. Question mark. Question mark.

These people are really pros. The nurses, technicians, and doctors really took the time to listen to me. Their care and their technique made me feel wonderful physically. They cared for as a person.

The most difficult part about the job is lack of communication between fellow employees. Working through finding effective ways is the most enjoyable part, for it give me, as well as everyone in the clinic, the time to utilize their skills and deliver excellent care to the patient.
