Dr. Kirby is outstanding. He is empathetic; he listens well, and he communicates clearly. Moreover, his relaxed but professional demeanor put me at ease- which is important because that made for better communication. Basically, Dr. Kirby is not only one of our regions top docs, hes also a great guy. As a bonus, his staff were also outstanding. I had to wait past the appointment time to see him; I think thats a fair trade-off, to be seen by a physician who doesnt rush appointments. I give Dr. Kirby and his staff an A+

Dr. Kirby repaired my left rotator cuff two years ago and that shoulder now functions perfectly. Thinking I needed surgery on my right shoulder, I saw him recently for an evaluation. I had an evaluation from another surgeon who recommended surgery. Dr. Kirby diagnosed me with a condition called frozen shoulder that he said doesnt require surgery. He is a talented surgeon with integrity. I highly recommend.

Dr. Kirby is the best in all aspects, I should know, Im an RN. Bedside manner, competency, clinic staff, office cleanliness, surgical outcome, follow up, appointment availability, communication, patience, surgery experience, mine and his (!-both count and both are important), are ALL first class and pretty perfect. If I were to mention something that could be better, it would be when I arrive at the line for the front desk/ check in. Sometimes the 5 or 6 employees are busy with something behind their counter with no one at their check in space. It appears to me and possibly others that the staff is too busy for the patients who are checking in. It doesnt take too long for one of them to call me to there space but its enough of a delay to take notice. Yes Im being critical and yes its minimal but as you can see if thats the only issue.....thats not too bad! Theyre awesome in the areas that matter. They get a well deserved 5 stars from me!

I live in the Kitsap Peninsula and when I asked my Dr. where to have my shoulder surgery he said that he would send me where he had his surgery. I figured if Dr. Kirby was good enough for my Dr. then he was definately good enough for me. Oddly enough after I told several people here who was doing my surgery it was interesting to find out how many other people have had him as their Dr. and they all had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Kirby. His staff have been great and very responsive. I can say enough good things about the Doc and his team.

I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder in 2005 from Dr. Kirby. As a high school senior he had me back playing baseball the following spring when I was a freshman in college. A few years later I needed to have surgery on my left rotator cuff. In 2009 I went back and saw Dr. Kirby and the staff. I was very pleased with the bedside manner. He took the time in 2005 to ask me what my plans were after high school and made notes in my file. When I returned in 2009, he made sure to ask me about my school and if I was teaching or not. He seems very interested in his patients and what they do outside of the office visit and takes the time to get to know each person. Because of him, I can now kayak, throw a baseball, and ski, lift weights with minimal pain and weakness.I have yet to find a better doctor and staff than what I experienced with Dr. Kirby and his office.

This was several years ago.I had constant pain from massive swelling in my shoulder. Two other drs before him didnt help ONE BIT. They stuck 2 cortisone shots in me without even feeling around for anything. Seemed just picked a spot in my shoulder and drove them in. Had 2 MRIs too.One even treated some Seahawks and other sports figures in area. Means nothing. Dr Kirby CURED me instantly after 2 yrs of constant agony and sleeplessness. I had one appt with him. He ordered one last cortisone shot via xray machine. I will never forget this dr.

I dislocated my shoulder snowboarding 7 years ago. It was operated on by Dr. Kirby, and has been functioning very well ever since with no dislocations.
