Great dental work, very mediocre billing procedures.Got a tooth checkup & cleaning + filling done perfectly. Instead of charging my insurance THEN sending me me a bill for what insurance didnt cover, they *guessed* at what insurance wouldnt cover and charged me that immediately instead.They overestimated by ~$50. I have 3 problems with this:1. I discovered this accidentally - they didnt proactively reach out to return the money, and I dont believe they intended to.2. It took me 2 calls. I was promised a follow-up after the first call, but nothing happened for 2 weeks. It took a second call and explicitly asking for the money to be returned for something to be done.3. They ask me to check back if I dont get the check in a month.Once again, dental work was excellent, but I expected a higher standard for how patients are billed and without needing patients to waste time following up because of their inaccurate cost estimates.

I felt compelled to write a review because I personally find it uncommon to have such great customer service at a dentist.Ive visited Simply Dental for my annual cleaning and filling for a few years. I had a pleasant experience and never had any issues.I recently moved away but reached out by email to have my dental records sent. They responded fast and I was able to complete my record transfer by email within 30 minutes (I even sent the wrong destination email address by accident and they followed up with me)!

Had deep tooth cleaning with Van and the experience is so far the best, among all the tooth cleanings that I had in the past a few years. Van is always willing to listen to and understand my needs, and happy to help. Front desk people Alena and Shando are also very nice. Recommend this place to everyone especially who needs tooth cleaning, root canal, and extraction.

Dr. Wendy has been my dentist for nearly 8 years now and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Since the beginning, she has gone above and beyond to help me manage my teeth. She’s really great at explaining complicated procedures and I have the highest level of confidence in her work. More than that, I love getting to talk to her when I visit the office. She’s such a kind and likeable person. You couldn’t ask for a better dentist. The other dentists at the practice are also very good and the office staff is wonderful. I highly recommend everything about this practice!

Simply Dental is an amazing place. They were able to take my mom in on short notice when she had previous implants break that another dental office had put in. Dr. Andy is an amazing and patient person. You’ll never feel unwanted or like a burden. I recommend them to all my family and friends.

I have been coming to Simply Dental for several years and their front desk staff along with the hygienists and Doctors, are fantastic! They even have free parking, have always been understanding when I am running a second or two late. Plus their cleanings really make my teeth shine! All dentists need to be this good. Seriously!

I ate too many corn nuts one day and an old crown got cracked. I called Simply Dental on Monday morning and the nice front desk person was able to squeezed me in two days later. Dr. Lee took out my old crown and replaced it with a new crown in a single visit. Dr. Lee is very thorough and professional. He used the new CEREC crown technology. It is a computer-assisted design tool that scans digital images and creates a digital model of my tooth. Then this tool sent to a machine that takes the model and creates a 3-D tooth. Simply Dental truly give me a 5 stars treatment. Very friendly staff, nice office, and using new modern high technology. I will definitely be coming back and recommend Simply Dental if you are looking for a dentist.

This is the best dental office I’ve ever been too! All of the people are super friendly and welcoming, making the stressfully process much more relaxing:) The dentists are capable of performing a great variety of procedures and are very professional. Trust me, you will love them!

I came in today for a consult and the staff in this dental office from the receptionist to the dentist were all so friendly and nice. They were all so helpful and made sure that I was comfortable. They answered every question I had, told me everything that I needed to know about, and they were very understanding. Compared to the last dental office I went to, this one definitely takes the cake. I’ll definitely come back here for future consults and treatments. This dental office is honestly awesome. I 100% recommend going to this one. 💕

I had a tooth pain in my mouth and had scheduled appointments earlier to come in and visit. As a student I dont have a lot of experience go to dental places, and I had no idea about the insurance. Because of lack of experience and I was really lost at all of the dental plans, and dont know to bring my previous x-ray result, the first two times of my visit, I did not ended up doing an examination. But I did communicated with staff that there was some misunderstandings and I was not intended to not to the examination - I just did not know what to prepare.This week when I figured out insurance and booked an appointment (which was very difficult, I really did not have a clue about how to do this). And then the staff called and gave me a really bad experience: They first asked me if I had prepared the insurance, I replied yes and explained in detail what I did, and confirming that I do want to go to the appointment. They have made an appointment for me earlier for a week or two later, but I did not cancel that since I thought that might just be a good time for me to actually do a tooth extraction. So I just confirmed that I do need the appointment and I got whats needed prepared. But then the staff continued on and on and telling me: there have been several times that you came and go without doing anything and walk away, and that if I came and leave again it will be an empty slot ..., just on and on. I could only nod, apologetically, and say yes.I felt really upset and felt really being treated differently because I have not yet paid for anything. And to be clear I did bring my boyfriend to Simply Dental and at least he has been a customer who is paying regularly. So I dont understand why I was being scolded and treated differently. I also dont understand the change of the staff attitudes - the first two times of my earlier visits was good, they told me its fine to just go back and prepare what I need for next time. If they had been clearer I would have just never book any follow-up appointments.I just want to say that its really hard and their attitude are not making things easy. As an international student I had not enough income to just say yes to everything, and all of the insurance website are in english as well as the booking page in simply dental, which is hard for me to understand and do everything correctly. However, their staff is making things even harder and more stressful.

I visited Simply Dental twice in the past month. First visit was for a cleaning and the second was for a crown replacement. I wanted to share that I am very impressed with how the staff had adapted best practices in defending against the beer virus pandemic.Prior to each appointment, I received a text reminder to complete a form which helped me take stock on whether or not I have any symptoms or at increased exposure to COVID-19. This gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that other visitors are also submitting to the same level of accountability.Then upon arrival, I noticed the staff sanitized the door handles before I was able to enter the dental office. When I checked in, the reception staff immediately took my temperature with a no-touch thermometer. The staff were wearing face masks at all times and were very friendly. There were hand sanitizers stationed in both the waiting area and again in the operations area.Back in the good old days, they had an opened door concept for each of the operations cells. However, this is no longer the case anymore. Simply Dental had installed thick plastic partitions to keep aerosols, mouth water, respiratory droplets, etc. contained within each cell.After my first visit, I did not hesitate on committing to a follow on appointment from a safety perspective. I had a very positive and safe experience both times as I knew the staff went above and beyond to keep me safe. This pandemic is not likely to go away anytime soon and I really hope that more local businesses can take after Simply Dental in the meantime.

My experience at simply has been great. coming to the dentist hasn’t been the easiest, but they make my experience here very pleasant. I got my wisdom teeth out and it was so fast nothing what I was expecting. They offered me nitrous to make my visit more comfortable which I appreciate. Staff is great. Doctors are amazing.

Over the years my experiences with dental offices haven’t been the greatest until I came to Simply Dental. The staff is amazing, starting with the front desk. Very nice ladies and Amber is amazing, she helped me understand my insurance and how it works which I had it all wrong before. These ladies just follow the steps that insurance gives them which I did not understood in the beginning. The assistants are lovely, they care about making me feel comfortable and safe. The doctors I’ve seen here are skilled, everything I’ve got done I’ve been very pleased with and they each take time to explain and show me what they’re doing. I am very happy and my whole family now comes here and they each have had amazing experiences.

I am very happy with my new dentist. I got a root canal done and they made it look so easy. I was in no pain. The doctor explained everything he was doing and the assistant was very helpful. The front desk lady was very helpful and detail with everything. I recommend this place to everyone.

I lost a filling and these folks got me in next day, incredibly nice and helpful. Furthermore, their work was terrific and thorough quick and painless. I don’t post reviews but I read them and these folks certainly deserve all their positive feedback.

First thing that I absolutely loved from the start about this dental clinic was the ability to request to schedule my appointment with a simple email. And not just any simple visit, Im talking about a new patient first appointment. Then I was thrilled yet a second time by the fact that they were able to schedule me an appointment for less than 48 hours later. I was able to schedule my appointment, confirm it, received a text message reminding me of the appointment day and time, and I was able to fill out all of the typical new patient paperwork as well as submit it all online the day prior to my appointment. They were really cool with my arriving 10 minutes late for my first appointment, the receptionist saying they expect their patients to possibly arrive a little bit late, due to there location being downtown on Denny and Dexter. No lecturing me on my tardiness or making me feel awkward for it. That first visit I had my teeth examined and xrays done, before Dr Andy extracted my top wisdom tooth that had been putting me through hell for over a year. What a relief it was to have that thing out of my mouth at last! Total and instant pain relief!!!! And Dr Andy was beyond phenomenal in extracting the wisdom tooth! I cannot begin to say enough positive things about his amazing skill at caring, dental care!The following week I had my second visit with Dr Wendy for my cleaning, and 3 fillings, and it was just as awesome as my first visit! She has a great personality with great skill and amazing work, and she seems to be very knowledgeable about her craft, and doesnt hesitate to inform her patient with that knowledge. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who needs any level of care , from emergency services to preventative care.

Im so grateful that these folks are still accepting patients under certain conditions, despite the Covid-19 pandemic. I began having pain beneath one of my teeth and called requesting an appointment. They authorized an appointment without hesitation due to the severity of the pain. The outcome was a couple prescriptions for inflammation of my gums. While they couldnt do any teeth cleaning at this time, they still set me up for a tentative appointment later this summer. Ive never been disappointed with the care Simply Dental has provided me in the past, but in the current climate, I feel they are really going above and beyond to help as best they can. Mom & Dad, brothers and I all go to Dr. Young. Everyone at Simply Dental is so kind, fun, & and understanding. Our whole family goes to the Dr. Young because we feel the same way: the staff is accommodating & patient with mom & dad when they have their senior moments; so happy that they can work with our parents budget; and given respect as they explain treatment options, procedures, & costs. Dr. Young has a great habit of explaining the details of procedures (whats going to happen, what is happening, what the after-effects will be and for how long). I feel very fortunate that Ive found Simply Dental as my familys dentistry.

I was happy with the clinic when I came for the first time 2 years ago. I am going to look for a new dentist unfortunately. They keep changing my doctor with no explanations and wasting my time. I came for smoothing a filling and after looking at it and using 45’ they told me we didn’t have time because the next patience was waiting and they gave me a quote I already got in my previous appointment. So frustrating.

I’ll never see another dentist as long as I live in Seattle. The entire staff at Simply Dental is very kind, welcoming and efficient. This visit was an emergency visit for a cracked tooth. I called at 3pm and was offered the last appointment of the day at 6:15. When I arrived I was immediately taken back to my room and the exam started. My dentist, Ms. Dr. Kim I believe, took the time to answer all of my questions regarding the pain, procedure and treatment. This office closes at 7pm but the dentist kindly asked her team to stay late to repair my tooth, keeping every one there until close to 8pm.This was an act of compassion that I will not forget. Oh, and I’m essentially pain free today. 😀

So as most of us do, we put our health care aside as we live our busy lives. It had been a couple years since the last time I serviced my teeth and I was not looking forward to it...I have the worst dental anxiety (due to bad experiences when I was a kid). Plus who wants to go to the dentist anyways?!? I knew I couldn’t put off any longer so I searched around and found Dr. Wendy. I decided to give her a shot and I couldn’t have been any happier. The experience was phenomenal. The staff was friendly, kind and professional. Although I ended up needing extra dental work besides a cleaning, I didn’t feel like I was pressured into any service I didn’t need. They even offered same day service so I didn’t have to come back a different day which was perfect for my busy schedule. I left with a smile on my face. Job well done!

A warning based on personal experience: don’t do anything beyond basic cleaning there. I have a crown done there recently and my gum has been increasingly hurting and bleeding since then. And I had no problem drinking hot or cold water before the operation, which was recommended to me during the filling for the tooth, after they shaved a chunk of the tooth off! Avoid this place, ignore its rating. All the good reviews in the world won’t help you once you feel the ever throbbing pain in your mouth after a screwed operation

The overall experience is good. The reception is so bad, the doctor is good. While I do cleaning, they just have 1 guy and do it very rude. Like the doctor, other people is not so good.

Ive been going to Simply Dental for years. Both my husband I go there, including my two children. They are always accommodating with their appointments and never push for me to get additional work. My children are young and their entire staff is so good with them. Although Im never a fan of going to the dentist, I never mind going there.

Great service for wisdom teeth removal! I had one removal before and it took over 40min... Andy took this out for 10min. And SD was able to do this ASAP, accommodated me 2 weeks earlier than expected.

The staff here is competent, but I feel like Im going through a dental machine every time I go to the office. They are super efficient, but theres always a crowd there and you feel like you are being rushed to get through all the procedures. I only go once a year (since I dont love visits to the dental office), and everyone on their staff without fail says you know you can go every 6 months... (seriously...every single person at the dental office says that to me at some point in our conversation). Overall, you wont go wrong coming here, but you also might not enjoy your experience.

I rarely ever write reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you have a very good corporate dental beware of all the recommended procedures and get a second opinion.The dentist here I believe Dr. Wu is really nice and doesnt seem to be pushing for unnecessary fillings and other dental work.Other dentists had recommended more than four fillings on my right side and Dr. Wu recommended wait and watch since the teeth werent deteriorating much in the time frame of about one and half year.He also recommended only one wisdom tooth removal compared to all three as per other dentist.So from lining up expensive procedures perspective I am very happy. Especially given the fact that my insurance could have easily taken the expense. Bravo!Additionally they were able to acomodate me for a cleaning right after the examination the same day! Having recently moved to Seattle but having not recently seen a dentist I was nervous going. I was a little more nervous when I heard I needed a root canal when I had no pain or sensitivity but like myself, Dr. Wendy believes in only doing what is necessary when it comes to operations. I was extremely anxious and scared since the reputation of a root canal is about as good as the monster under the bed’s on a dark and rainy night, but Dr. Wendy was extremely patient with me. She answered all my questions, explained the whole process, and walked through why this was the best course of treatment. Aside from some cranky gums, I had no pain at all. The best part though was getting my crown. Dr. Wendy used a scope to 3D scan my jaw that rendered an image with dimensions instantaneously and then used an in-house water-jet milling machine to make my crown. As an industrial designer, I was really impressed with her technology and tools and the accuracy and precision of her process. Much like dealing with monsters under the bed, Dr. Wendy shown some light on all the dark spots and showed me there was nothing to be afraid of.

Jan did a great job cleaning my teeth, and was very helpful and friendly. I had gone several years without a cleaning, so it was not an easy task. Dr Wendy was also very friendly and helpful, and I will be seeing them again soon.

Very bad, I have a tooth with a little black dot on it. I can chew with it without any problem. Hot or code water is totally fine. I think to prevent it to become bigger, so I go to Simmply Dental, but after they repair it, yes, the little black dot is gone, but the tooth is not usable anymore. Now I cannot bite with my left side tooth because of this. I cannot even drink code water with this side. Ill sue them. Any legal help is appreciated. I give a one star to say Im super disappointed about Simply dental. Please dont go, to save your tooth.

Im a bit squeamish about going to the dentist but Ive gotten over the fear after going to Simply Dental. All of the staff are very kind and have great attention to detail. My teeth are very sensitive but they always give me the pros and cons about each procedure and even give me a break down of cost so we can decide the best treatment plan. When my child needed to see a dentist for the first time, I brought him there and he has no fear of the dentist aka Simply Dental. Thank you for always being so patient and kind and providing the best service.

Really great team here. I came in as a new patient with brutal tooth pain, they immediately got me in and took care of the issue. Im super nervous at the dentist and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, that everything was explained to me and that I was ok. Did great work too, got a root canal and can honestly say I feel great!

Standard dental office, overall I’ve had a good experience but I have to knock stars off after my last experience. They didn’t start working on me until 30 mins after my appointment started, I had a different doctor who didn’t seem fully prepared on what the appointment was for (also in general, I’ve felt communication between my dentist and orthodontist could be better), and finally I have a nitrile allergy which is noted on my chart but one of the staff used nitrile gloves for a bit before noticing and I’ve since broken out in itchy hives because of it. I usually ask everyone if they’re using non-nitrile gloves first, but in this case I guess she had switched gloves to work with another patient and forgot to switch to non nitrile when she came back. Generally though, the staff are pleasant and other experiences have been fine. I was debating between 2 or 3 stars, might update this in the future.——————Edit - I appreciate the office and Dr. Wendy reaching out to me about my concerns and look forward to seeing how things go in the future.

Update: the doctor called and put a genuine effort to resolve the issue. At the end, I paid more than initially quoted but not as much as they billed me initially. Full credit to the doc and office for owning the issue and willingness to explain what happened.Most incompetent administrative staff. They quote you cost wrong to get your business without verifying your coverage. And once the procedure is done said it was your responsibility to verify with insurance. Doc Andy was good but overall they are not a business with integrity to work with. If you have to go here verify everything yourself calling your insurance to make sure they are quoting it correct or you may get robbed.
