I’ve been going to Dr Swanson for several years and had nothing but pleasant and positive experiences. They are a family business and it feels like family. I was nervous about going to the dentist during Covid but they are very conscientious about being safe and following safety protocol. Also, everyone there is exceedingly kind and trustworthy. Jackie runs the office and she remembers how I like to schedule and sends text confirmation so I don’t have to check voicemail (love this!). Dr. Swanson is always kind, and compassionate. You can tell he cares about his clients and wants them to feel at home. They are on the ground floor (so no stairs) and have a free off street parking lot right out front. So it’s super convenient to zip down on my way to work and not miss too much of my workday. Cafe Solstice is across the street so I can grab a quick coffee and pastry afterward.

Ive been going here for years. My favorite dentist Ive ever had. Very down-to-earth practice, they give you realistic advice and dont do any unnecessary procedures. Very friendly small staff, and they have been consistent the entire time Ive been a patient. Very affordable.

Ive had my teeth taken care of by Dr. Swanson and his team for three years and am very happy with their skill, knowledge, and professionalism. I highly recommend them!! Dr. Swanson is an especially good choice for UW grad students (like me), as the location is right next to campus and they take our insurance.

Dr. Swanson is a great dentist. He is kind and easygoing. I removed my wisdom tooth and do my regular teeth wash here every year. Recently they moved to out network of the gaip and iship insurance but I decide to stick with this place as they are skillful and the extra money is like ten dollar more so not a big deal. Jackie is also very helpful and caring through communication. One of my many heart warming experiences at UW.

Dr. Swanson is an extremely kind and talented dentist! During college, at first I didn’t go in regularly for cleanings, but this office got my dental hygiene back on track. Your visit will go by smoothly and quickly with all the hygienists’ fun stories! The receptionist, Jackie, is an angel and great communicator. The office has a great messaging/email system to remind you when your due for an appointment, and scheduling is always very easy. I’ve been a patient of theirs for nearly four years now, and I’m disheartened I have to leave due to moving out of the state. If you’re looking for a reliable dentist office in the U-District, this is your place!

Ive known Dr. Swanson and his team for over 20 years. They are amazing, and I recommend them very highly. He helped fix my teeth after dramatic sports injury. Since COVID19 has hit, Dr. Swanson has gone above and beyond the requirements for medical facilities to ensure the safety of his patients and his staff. Every room has a UV-cleaned hepa filter, and the entire facility has an air residence time of less than 6 minutes. I was very concerned about these details, and he explained them all to me. They have a lot of behavioral strategies in place also (like minimum of conversation in the lab) also. His knowledge has helped me draft an air flow plan for my own work place.
