First of all... Full transparency: I have to say Im biased because I work at Center for Spiritual Living Seattle. But, I didnt always work here. I used to be one of those geeky followers that logged in to watch services from California. Im a huge fan of Dr. Kathianne Lewis, the spiritual director. She is one of our greatest teachers in all of Centers for Spiritual Living globally. When I found out about the job opening, I jumped at the opportunity to work for one of our living luminaries. As it turns out, the community is quite amazing too. I love and appreciate the dedication and devotion of the members. The staff is top notch. Im honored and excited to work with such creative, inspiring, and welcoming individuals. I truly love my job. And Im grateful to work here.

I want to share what a remarkable and spiritual place this is. It has become my home 💛 and the people my family. It’s where I belong. They are what a good church should be welcoming, warm, knowledgable and holy. The ministers are extraordinary and the people are kind. There are many chances to be with other members and not feel so alone, because you aren’t. God is here! I love you CSL Seattle! Thank you for welcoming me as well as you did.

I have been a member for 10 years. CSL meets you where you are and is a very welcoming community. The Sunday talks cover what is going on in today’s world and are uplifting. Staff ministers usually speak but sometimes speakers are from different philosophies lead us. EVERY service has golden nuggets to learn from. Best way to start your morning.

This is my spiritual home and community. Always a welcoming place for EVERYONE. So diverse and so loving. And always a great and positive message that informs my life. Thank you!

I showed up on a whim in early 2018 and immediately felt at home. Love the friendly people, the positive message, and the awesome music. This church is filled with people that I respect and admire who provide a good example of how to live a constructive life.

Wake up to what you are meant to do in the world. Support to be who you are fully in this universe. This is a place of fellowship and transformation. Open to those willing to consider the spiritual rules of the universe.

I found this awesome community in 2006. I have only grown to love it more over the years because of all I have learned.

Ive been to this center a handful of times over the last 2 years. I was excite to become more involve and grow with this group. That is until my last visit March 31st, I was very disappointed the spiritual leader spoke about White Privilege. I was very offended and felt there was no reason to preach about race. The same message could have been given about how we ALL have privilege of some sort and should share it with those around us who need it. I left feeling hurt rather than fulfilled and I wont be returning. Also, this was coming from a spiritual center that was selling $625 necklaces in the lobby and is in the process of building a new state of the art spiritual center... talk about privilege!

Im so incredibly thankful for this spiritual center. My life has only improved since I first walked through their doors -- and put what Ive learned to work. As for the other persons review, I remember the recent service during which white privilege was discussed, and I believe it can be a sore subject, especially for those who are unaware of how much of it they have. Race and privilege are topics that truly deserve our attention, and not a minute too soon. Gypsy Soul were the musicians for that service, and their music is moving and inspiring! They create and sell their own jewelry, which is as beautiful as it is expensive -- but it is sold by the artist herself, not by CSL in any way.I just wanted to set a couple things straight, in case anyone reads that other review. CSL is a happy, warm and welcoming place; a place where the classes can really make a huge difference in peoples lives, as can the Sunday services. I hope people will stop by and give it a try! Theyre at a new location in Greenlake too!
