Each neighborhood should have one of these!! They make giving back so easy with their wide range of volunteer/ donation opportunities - lots of fun events. The monthly small appliance fixing group at Greenwood Ace Hardware coupled with the PNA tools library is genius. Wish Id known of this org sooner. But it never really is too late to get involved :)

This is a nice venue to hold small events. I come here regularly for a club meeting and its always well kept. The building is very old and has a lot of history, which is fun to learn about. Gets a little hot in summer.

Went to their annual holiday fair. Alot of vendors selling fabulous things. This was my second yr. Always buy gifts, & things for myself. From ornaments to local honey, unique cards, tshirts, chocolates, & handmade candles. Just to name a few items. Highly recommend.

Nice intimate sized hall. The Seattle Folklore Society programs all sorts of acoustic / folk / traditional music and dancing here. Nothing fancy, its an old school auditorium after all. Modestly sized stage with a piano.

The building of an old Elementary school so it has a lot of character. There are two parking lots so Ive can usually find parking. The building has an excellent great system but only Windows for cooling. Oh and the windows open! Only two bathroom stalls in the entire building though.

I take a weekly dance class here. The classroom is large, well-lit, has nice mirrors and a good floor. All good points in its favor. The downside of the location is that its very big and spread out, parking can be inadequate and poorly marked, and theres only two small bathrooms in the entire main building. That said, they seem to offer a LOT of classes (hence the parking being inadequate) so if you live in the neighborhood you may want to check it out.

The PNA building was originally an old early 20th century school. It has been beautifully restored and is worth a visit just to see it. The organization is one of the best neighborhood associations in the state and brings amazing activities and services in and around Greenwood. From the farmers market, and seasonal events to one of the best and most active senior centers in the state. Definitely check them out. They are one of the greatest benefits of living in North Seattle.

This is the new location for the 43rd District Democrats as of January 2018. The space has the creaky charm of a well-used, preserved building and is a node of community for the Phinney neighborhood. Parking is still an issue, but there are two lots up the hill, or try your luck with on-street parking

The Phinney Neighborhood Association is sick a great resource for the Phinney and Greenwood neighborhoods. It helps the needy, Erins community building activities, provides rooms for classes and events, brings live music to the neighborhood, runs sooner early childhood education programs and much more. It truly is a hub for Phinneywood.

I had the good pleasure of speaking at the Womxns March at this venue. The talk was on allyship. I was in the brick building in a classroom. The setting was intimate and everyone that I spoke with was courteous and helpful. I would definitely book more gigs at this location.

Parking can be a problem. Facilities are ADA compliant. The only working drinking fountains in the Brick Building are on the first level, there are none on the second and third levels. The elevator is a very welcome addition.
