Dr. Dick is a kind and intuitive healer. This is not your run of the mill chiropractic session - in my opinion it is far better! Dr. Dick has helped me become more aware of my body and the ways that I store and hold tension and pain. His approach brings a lot of relief and allows me to become more in-tune with the way energy moves and gets stuck throughout my body. I have chronic and degenerative disc problems in my low back (L4-5, S-1) and also hold a lot of tension in my neck and upper back. Getting cracked by other chiropractors was always uncomfortable and only provided a small amount of relief that was very short lived.I am so grateful that a friend referred me to Dr. Dick. My experience here has led to long lasting relief and better awareness of my bodys innate ability to heal itself. Dr. Dicks approach is gentle and effective! My back has not gone out since I began working with him and I am no longer relying on pain pills or muscle relaxers to get me through.I love every minute of my time at Dr. Dicks. His wife, Noel, is a bright light who walked me through every step of the process (scheduling, payment, providing a super bill for insurance reimbursement, and much more). I have found Noel to be a valuable resource, she is kind, joyful, and filled with wonderful information on health and wellness.I highly recommend Dr. Dick Shepard!!

Ive always had a wonderful experience with this place. Dick has been one of the few practitioners Ive seen consistently and benefitted from in my healing process, and Noel always makes walking in the door something to look forward to. Together, they make a terrific and compassionate team.Network care is subtle work compared with the kind of snap-crack chiropractic most people are used to, but it has helped me release tension and pain, and I can really feel the difference when I havent had an appointment in a few weeks! Thanks for all you do!

I have been seeing Dr. Dick on and off for the past four years. He has helped my body to a better state after my car accidents. When I leave his office, I am able to breathe easier, notice my breathe, and have a heighten awareness of my body.I recently have had a terrible fall down some stairs and he is the first person I called. I trust Dr Dick with aiding my body to heal in the most gentle and loving way.He is amazing with his knowledge and years of experience. My body knows once I lay on this table what to do. His office is a place of calm and tranquility.

Ive been seeing Dr. Shepard regularly for quite a few years and when things get tough, with +12 hour days at the computer, my weekly session with him is what keeps me going. Ive gone into his office feeling like Ive been run over by a Mack truck and half an hour later, Ill walk out of there feeling great. Its hard to describe what a difference he has made in my well-being. I wish I could bottle how I feel after a session so that I could explain it to others.Delete review

I went to Dr. Shepard for 4 years about 9 years ago. He eased my pain when no one else could. He is not only an intuitive and highly skilled chiropractor but an amazing human being. He listens, he cares, and both he and Noel his wife who is the office manager make you feel like a part of the family.Recently I hit my SI joint while body surfing in Hawaii..its the most excruciating pain Ive ever felt. I knew that Dick would take care of me. Im on my way to getting better because of him. Instead of directly targeting the source of the problem (which hasnt worked with other practitioners), he finds his way in by releasing stuck energy in other parts of your body which creates rest and ease so that your body can relax and heal.I highly recommend Dick. Hes simply amazing.Lynn Chapman

What I appreciate most about Dicks style is that he never forcefully cracks the body-- regardless of what hes adjusting. While force adjustments can be helpful for many, for others it can leave their tissues feeling more inflamed and unstable after adjustment-- sometimes for up to three days later. Im grateful to be able to see and refer others to Dick, feeling confident that well be walking out happy we went in!

I dont know if you guys have ever heard of network spinal analysis, or network care, or re-organizational healing. These are all names of the particular modality in which Dr. Dick Shepard in North Seattle has been treating me. Originally, it was called Network Chiropractic. But since its not really Chiropractic, they changed the name. This stuff is really kind of hard to explain. You can think of it in terms of cell memory, and how you hold onto old stuff thats happened to you. Something happens with your body trying to guard against future stuff. Your whole system really feels that old injury. This helps release it.Some of you know I was in a couple accidents. Since then, Ive experienced paranoia and anxiety while driving. It can be something as simple as looking over my shoulder, then feeling like I need to look twice or 3 or even 4 times, when one would have done before; or something as major as constantly imagining worst case scenarios. The # of times I do this in a day used to be 20 to 30. Now its more like 3 or 4.Dr. Dick Shepard has helped me tremendously, and my body is finally releasing all this old stuff and getting back to normal If you guys have any questions about this just let me know and I can explain further. Have a great day!My takeaway?  Try it – you’ll like it.

I have been seeing Dr. Shepard on and off for over 10 years now. His skills, integrity and deep caring are a few of the many reasons why I keep going back.
