My 16 year old cat would scream in pain almost every time someone touched her. Even brushing her tail with my leg when walking by made her yelp. Today, we drove an hour and 45 minutes to the only cat chiropractor I could find, and tonight I can pet my cat right to the tip of her tail.I didnt expect one visit to cure all her ills, and it didnt, but she was quiet in the car for two hours home and has been walking around since we got here like she cant believe she can do it again.Well be going back in about a month to see what kind of improvements will come from a bit of recovery time and a second adjustment. The distance involved made this a difficult choice for me to make, but the difference in my cat makes me wish I had tried it sooner.

Our older GSD looks forward to our visits with Josh. His manner is professional and personal to our dog’s needs and our dog has looked forward to his visits with Josh as he is always better able to move/run/play after visiting Josh.

I took my cat, Jasmine, to see Animal Chiropractic when she was very ill. Although, she was unable to fully recover from her illness, they really, really helped her and made her quality of life great. If I ever have another pet in need, I will bring them here.

My 13-year old lab recently took 4 adjustments over 6 days and went from literally not rising from the floor and wincing in pain to walking with assistance to progressively regaining strength in her back legs and complete motor function in her lower spine and hips. Dr. Josh saved her the anxiety and me the cost of unnecessary hospitalization and surgery and I’m so grateful. He was professional, patient and reassuring throughout the process and although the adjustments must have been uncomfortable, my dog trusted him within a few minutes. (I was a mess).I’m a lifetime believer in chiropractic care for myself, but this was a first for my dog. I was impressed that he could predict within one visit how much manipulation was needed, that he honors the body’s ability to heal itself and knew what the likely progression would look like. He’s a healer, and I’m glad we found him. Pup is well and thriving today with the advice and gentle adjustments. Thank you.

My family has taken three of our animals (2 dogs and a very skittish cat) to Seattle Animal Chiropractic and I can highly recommend the entire staff. They have proven to me to be good with people and great with our pets. Thank you for taking care of our fur babies like they were your own!

We found this practice unintentionally–when we were getting desperate with our senior kittys health I google animal chiropractic and felt really fortunate to find this clinic in my neighborhood. We sent an inquiry email from their website and received a quick response, answering all of our questions. Our cat is calm here, I think he knows it helps. Multiple vets at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital have commended our decision to have care here, as his health is improving and he is on minimum meds. So grateful we have this clinic!

We have an old, grumpy, 20 year old cat who has been coming here for two years. He is arthritic and it is amazing how active he still is with regular treatments . I love how responsive they are when I notice the cat is walking crooked, they will get him in the same day. Our vet is so impressed with how well he is doing.

Unfortunately, my family and I had to move out of the Seattle area last year. One of the most difficult adjustments (pun intended) has been trying to find a chiropractic clinic that offers the same level of care here in our new city. Our puggle Louis dearly misses his visits to Dr. Shideler :( Hopefully we will be back soon!

I can say with complete certainty that Josh has helped my high mileage hound quickly recover from barely walking. Go to Seattle Animal Chiropractic before you consider expensive scans and invasive surgery.

I have two dogs Hazel, a King Charles Spaniel, and Miles, a Blue Heeler both are rescue dogs. Hazel was impaired with rear hip dysplasia and Miles was in a dog park accident were his front leg and hip was shattered and was in traction for two years. I was seeing Dr. Shideler at the time and asked him about the two pups. Well it turned out that he was accredited/board certified for animal chiropractic. Well the care Dr Shideler gave those two pups was amazing Both are doing fine and running around like crazy pups. A big thanks to Dr Shideler and his team.

The chiropractors here are not accredited, and this place is well-known in the pet community for horrible customer service. If you care about your pet, go see Dr. Rudolph at Cascade Vet instead.
