Lisa Marie fixed my hair! I came in with a pretty bad ombre (see before photo). I wasnt exactly sure what I wanted to do to fix it, and Lisa Marie spent almost an hour helping me look through my options. She was very honest about what she thought would work/not work, and about pricing, which I really appreciate! My after photo doesnt do it justice, but I was super happy with the result! I super recommend this place, and specifically Lisa Marie :-)

Got my hair colored and cut today by Carly....Amazing job!!!! Grateful for a great cut & color during the pandemic. The best aspect was that the hair color matched my skin tone and I think that that is difficult to achieve. So, without makeup on I wont look weird or washed out and when I do wear makeup I wont need to make special purchases of makeup in order to get everything to line up together. The color also really helped how my eyebrows look now as everything looks more natural as in hair, skin-tone & eyebrows lining up. Carly is a hair whisperer .......As an aside: I have issues with frizzy hair....sigh...the products used & recommended by her REALLY worked so...bye, bye frizzy hair:)I wanted to give it a couple of weeks to be sure & I am really sure now (before I edited posting). The products recommended to me by Carly 100,000 percent removed all of my frizz that I had battled for YEARS!!! Frizzy hair is a NIGHTMARE:( Thanks so much Headlines Salon.

I saw Lisa Marie and she saved my life!! After bad at home dye jobs that caused my hair to have a green color, she was able to completely get me back to my natural strawberry blonde without any damage to my porous hair. She was very careful but productive. Definitely recommend seeing her! 10/10

Good proximity to U-district area. I think a tad bit expensive, but the more advanced stylists do a great job. Sometimes difficult to get a hold of someone to make an appointment - it would be easier if they implemented appointment scheduling online.

This is by far the best salon Ive been to as a male. Nestled in the U Village, its a hidden gem if you dont go there. Customer service is stellar from arrival to departure! Definitely a must for women and men. Enjoy!

Mandi is awesome, she did a great job on my hair and is very sweet. I have really curly hair and it is hard to find someone who can cut AND do amazing blow outs!! I highly recommend her to anyone. The price for a hair cut is good as well. The whole staff was really friendly.

I had an amazing experience with Christine. I have very thin and straight hair, and she gave me great advice on how to keep it growing and healthy! She brought my bayalage back to life and she was such a joy to chat with. She recommended great products without being pushy. Ill definitely be back!

This was my first time not going to a bargain haircut chain and I enjoyed it, they did so much more than cut my hair. The guy I had was super nice and I enjoyed talking to him. He did a great job cutting my hair and the wash and styling was also nice and unexpected. My first blow out was an experience! Loved my hair afterward, would go back again.

I will recommend people to go to see Briauna Mayfield, for those of you who would like your hair color done. She has very good customer service, good knowledge of products, friendly, keeping positive and making sure client walks out happy. May take a bit long but it is worth the wait because of how much effort and love she put into her works in making sure the customer is satisfied. Second time getting my hair done by Briauna and she did a fantastic job!!! Want your hair done right???...go to bri...shell hook you up.

Took a chance and walked in on a whim, while on a work trip. SO glad I did. Stephaney is amazing and did exactly what I wanted, but even better!

Long story short (at the beginning for others convenience): the quality of the place far outweighs the price! This place has the best deal out of any hair stylist Ive been to.First, Id like to give a shoutout to Christine. Though she is working there as a student, she has what I consider professional experience with hair cutting and styling. She spoke with honesty, made great suggestions without being overbearing in the slightest, and was super duper helpful with my first time dying my hair. I didnt have to ask many questions about maintenance since she was giving pointers as we went, but when I did she gave great answers.The thing that initially brought me in there though was the receptionist. I cant remember who I spoke with over the phone but out of the five different places I called, she was the only one who actually answered what questions I had about the establishment. Two places hung up on me after placing me on hold. One required you to leave a voicemail. The other just kinda...got irritated by the 3 questions I had and hung up. In case anyone else is wondering the same thing about this place, well, Ill post my 3 simple questions below.1. Do you take walk-ins?Yeah, they do, which was kinda astonishing. During the call I made beforehand though, I did learn what time they generally wouldnt be busy/have other appointments though. It would probably be for the best to make an appointment here if youre doing something as drastic as I did (which was getting long hair cut short and dyed. I feel a little guilty about something so major with such little notice, but they were super nice nonetheless).2. What is the average price range for a haircut?I believe they told me about 40-80$, which was accurate to the actual price I paid for the haircut. I believe I only had to pay 44$ for the expense of the cut in itself, but with the bleaching/dyeing included it was 86$. Considering how this haircuts going to work for me a long while and they provided great service (and free tea), I have absolutely no qualms over it. They earned it.3. What are the hours?9-9 most days. I cant remember their weekend hours, and I have no clue as to the schedules of any employees or whether or not they disclose that information. But hey you can call and ask!
