Im extremely impressed by the service I got after my first trip to Salon 206.I scheduled a haircut, manicure and pedicure during a weekday around noon.My hair stylist gave me one of the best haircuts Ive had in years - she listened to what I asked for, gave suggestions, and took time to make sure nothing was missed. Ive had hair stylists elsewhere who did a rush job just to get me out the door, but she was meticulous and asked questions throughout the whole process. I was very impressed.The manicure and pedicure I got were also extremely good. This was a different lady but she also paid close attention to detail and did an excellent job. The chair I sat in also had massage features. I picked out several nail colors and she allowed me to test them out and gave suggestions.And the pricing for all was very reasonable.I will definitely be returning!!

The haircut was fine but I came in to dye my hair for the first time. I was extremely excited and nervous and had several pictures on how I wanted my hair, and I also showed her pictures of how I absolutely did not want my hair. They were okay dyes, but not for me. She ended up doing exactly what I did not want, and at the end I have never felt so uncomfortable and unsatisfied.. I was holding back tears. I know that is dramatic, but I was so excited for this the result was disappointing. After her telling me she couldnt do any of the things I wanted and showing me an array of browns that would be healthier for my hair.. she reassured me that it would look good.. I took the bait. It was exactly what I didnt want. Personally, if I was a hairstylist and I saw a customer who was hesitant about a dye I would make a plan with her to achieve the hair she wants even if it takes several days or more hours. Learn from my mistakes: research the salons and meet the hairstylists to make a plan beforehand.

Love this place! The owner is the nicest and talented. All the staffs are great at what they do and so nice.

Ive been seeing Lan for haircuts and eyebrow waxing for over ten years. Recently got a partial foil and I love it. Great service as usual! Must call ahead and make an appointment if theres a specific stylist you want to see.

An awesome salon for a great price. Wait time arent long at all for walk ins, but appointments are easy to get as well. The salon is clean and the staff are pleasant. Most of them speak either Chinese or Vietnamese in addition to English.

Got my roots done and toned. My Linh did a great job like always with my hair. I have black hair naturally, and she is able to make it a very light blonde without any brassiness. It only took 2 hours. Very reasonably priced ($110 total). I always come here when Im in town to get my hair done.

I am almost afraid to write this review. Hands down the cheapest and best blowout in the city. it is the only place i go to when I want my haircut as well. Everyone in this salon is really nice and extremely talented and professional. If you want to enjoy whole treatment, ie. to die for scalp massage and full service blow out it may cost you a little more. I come here twice a week to get my washed hair styled professionally for under thirty bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nancy Reagan has nothing on my perfectly coiffed hairdo thanks to Lan and her girls. You may have to wait or call ahead for an appointment but the price and quality of the service cant be beat.

Lan is simply the BEST! She is a cut and color artiste. The shampoo with head massage is well worth my very long drive.

I have been a customer here for a long time. I often go here without appointment because I hate to do it. A few days ago, I went here 2 hours before closed, after 15 minutes waiting, someone came to me and asked if I had an appointment. Then she told me I needed to make an appointment for haircut. It is a disappointment for me cuz I do not think a simple thing like haircut has to have an appointment. the reason I often came here because I just needed to walk in. considering there are a lot of other options around Seattle, I wont come back here again.If anyone wants to come here, make sure to make an appointment, otherwise you have to leave.

My stylists name at Salon 206 is My Linh. She works there on Wednesdays, for sure and I think another day or two of the week. I am very satisfied with her work.She adapted very fast to my style in which my hair actually sits on my head. Never before have I had people complimenting on my haircut weeks afterward until I had her as my stylist/barber.To be fair, I have yet to try any of the other stylist there for myself; but I see them as artistic professionals in their own rights as they work on their clients cosmetic needs just as My Linh is.

Nick did an awesome job on a color correction. I had a balayage-ombré hybrid done at my local salon earlier in the week and was really unhappy with it (weird uneven streaks and unnatural, poorly executed color) Nick worked very efficiently to fix it and Im super pleased with the result: smooth, even color with a nice transition. Highly recommend.

I went here for my little cousin to get a trim. One of the workers said they don’t do trims, as she stood there trimming another clients hair, of the same racial background. I believe the truth was she didn’t want to do Black people hair. My little cousin left here angry and I am also furious that she had to experience this type of discrimination at an early age! I will not be returning here again.
