I had a one time visit with Dr. Henry many years ago. It was the worst interaction with a Dr, he spent about 3 mins as he used a pen to lift up hair on my scalp, I felt like a leper as his expression was of disgust. He spent more time on his laptop & speaking to his assistant. He misdiagnosed me and the prescription did not work. I finally found any Derm. that made a correct diagnosis.

I brought my son here 2 years ago and we were told there is nothing that can be done for his condition. We did not go elsewhere for a second opinion and drove ourselves nuts. Finally, found another doctor who knows what my sons condition is and he is being treated now. When you get a negative opinion dont give up, you should always get a second or third opinion.

Had some basal cell carcinoma on my forehead removed, I hardly can see the scar, DO Gerrit did an excellent job. Definitely would go back

Not paperless! Lots of old fashioned hand writing. HIPAA would love this place for negative reviews. Patients writing their names down on paper for everyone to see. When the receptionist called me to give my insurance card back she screamed my name out loud so everyone could hear! Havent seen the Dr. yet. This is just a review from the reception room!

I have been w Dr. HENRY FOR YEARS&he has been great for me.Now it is hard to get through to office&hes not there any more.Not the same after 18 years.

Absolutely the worst doctor Ive ever had the displeasure of being treated by. He barely hides his contempt for me in person, and seems to make even less of an effort to provide me with the medicine I need. My last visit was almost a month ago, and I still havent been provided with any relief for my debilitating symptoms. Im talking 0 prescriptions. Want to get in touch with the staff there? Good luck. Be ready to call every single day and never hear back. Worthless.

Never ever go to him unless you like zero bedside manner and being treated like youre dumb. I have been a patient for a few years, but until yesterday, his attitude has been just enough under the radar that its been somewhat easy to ignore or excuse. I took my ten year old daughter in yesterday to remove a mole between her eyebrows...he removed it in December 2015 and it has returned. We went three weeks ago to discuss and he suggested cosmetic laser to lighten it instead of removing it again because to go deeper may result in a scar. I called the doctor he recommended, but because its a cosmetic procedure, she has to be 18. My daughter is scratching off til it bleeds (which can also cause scarring) and is also being teased at school about it. Dr. Henry was not only put out that we were back, he was dismissive of the bullying. He is a jerk (to put it nicely) and certainly not the only show in town. Be warned if you choose to see him.

This is one of the worst doctor (Gerrit V. Henry, DO) I have encountered. He had no time for the patient, always rushed up, didnt even sit down for a talk or listened to what I was saying. In less than 30 sec formed an opinion about the skin condition I was having and handed over a prescription. Also pushed to sell one of their clinics brand cream/lotion. I had never encountered such an idiotic doctor (I did not reveal that I am also into biomedical research). Tore up the stupid prescription on my way out of the clinic and feel sad for my loss of time and money (Co-pay). Going to see another knowledgeable dermatologist with decent clinical experience. Stay far away from this DO by all means.

If I had the option to use zero star i would, absolutely agree with all bad reviews for this doctor not the receptionist only to the doctor. He was very rude when talking to him, he had no time, he was rushed and in a bad mood. He didnt even introduce himself or said good bye, he just left the room and was not able to diagnose what was wrong with me.

I have been seeing Dr. Henry since 2011, the year after I had a terrible year-long MRSA infection in many places on the surface layer of my skin. Because I had to shower 2xs a day in very hot water during the MRSA infection, my skin became very dry and I couldnt repair it with lotion. And I kept getting bizarre rashes and bumps all over. Dr. Henry diagnosed me with Dermatitis and Eczema...to my relief. I kept thinking I was getting MRSA again. So, every single time I got a new bump or new rash, I would call the office and they always got me in that day or the next day, which was wonderful. Dr. Henry put me on a strict regimen for my skin. He told me to shower only once a day in cool or tepid temperature water and for only 15 minutes max. I learned to turn off the water while shampooing, etc, so to not have my body under running water for very long. Dr. Henry also gave me a list of preferred soaps and lotions, and told me to use only bar soap (and certain brands) because it has more fat. I have continued to use bar soap ever since, even for every time I wash my hands, and this really helps dry skin!! The one exception is Aveeno oatmeal liquid soap. Because he taught me so well how to care for my skin, and how to tell the difference between the types of Eczema rashes I kept getting and MRSA sores, I rarely ever have to see him anymore. So he is not the type of doctor who wants to keep you as a permanent patient. And finally, I believe he is extremely intelligent. He was always exactly right about what was going on with my skin and how to treat my skin with or without prescribed medications.

Staff is not friendly at all and Dr. Henry is even worse. Didn’t listen to a single thing I said for the 30 seconds he was in the room.

I have the worst acne in the world; and nothing has worked. I heard arcadias docrors are the best with acne treatments;so I made an appointment. well,a long story short; the results were amazing. I can look in the mirror again;my life is back. I have more treatments to do; but the worst is over;thanks.

My acne was cured by dr henry; and never came back
