Ok, this place in itself is absolutely perfect. The grounds, the villas, the pool and kids pool, theater, everyday they have little events. AMAZING! Most of the staff also fantastic! But we had a horrible time with one of the (Im guessing) managers and we had a heck of a time when maintenance was requested. We spent 4 1/2 weeks here WELL over $5,500 on a one bedroom villa, place was perfect! Back patio is huge, but we also had a spider problem and took 4 requests to get any spraying done and the outside was the only place they would spray. I was bit by a brown mean spider and ended up in the ER on my ankle. They literally did not care, THEN my partner was bit. Check out day comes and I can barley walk on my ankle thats finally healing. Late check out is 11am we told them we needed till 12. They called the cops to have us removed. Then charged me 350$ for late check out. I will not return or recommend.

Loved my 2 bedroom studio. The pool and activities were so fun. Great place for families. Even has its own theater and mini golf :)

It is a very comfortable place to be. Love the pool and tennis courts. Nothing like getting something at the grill and sitting by the pool. Just a nice, comfy place to be.

Have been there before and went there again and love them more. We had some packages mailed to their location and was expecting to pick the boxes up at the front desk but to my very happy surprise the boxes were already in my condo when I arrived. Extremely nice offers everything but food. Fully equipped kitchen,2 bed, 2 bathrooms. Washer and dryer in unit. Tvs 3. Yes wheel chair accessible ,kitchen dinning room,living room and two bedrooms,a good size patio huge pool,they offer lots of things to do. To many to put here.

The recreational activities are great however, it needs a bit of updating. The units could be more modern, better air flow etc. Other than that, its a great time.

This resort exceeded all of our expectations. It is located within walking distance of the biggest mall in Arizona along within minutes of old Scottsdale. This resort has a nice size swimming pool and with a hot tub. Adjacent is a tennis court, basketball court, along with putting greens and miniature golf. We would not have a problem staying here again in the future.

The Resort is excellent and with great amenities. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Sarah and Lee were OUTSTANDING! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Excellent place to stay while vacationing with kids. Great disability accommodations as well!

Didnt stay, visited spa. Clean and friendly staff. Facial and massage was great. They provide little water bottles, but if you drink a lot of water bring your own.

The resort is in a very nice location near many great restaurants and shopping centers. My in laws stayed here while visiting and we took our toddler to their baby pool! It was completely covered so she wouldn’t get sunburned and she had a blast! Plus they have a restaurant and bar! How cool! Their room was very nice it was two stories and it had a huge tub that was perfect for bathing my little one in after the pool. My in laws did say that they wished there was an oven in the kitchen and that’s the only thing they missed.

Me and my family truly enjoyed our stay here.

I want to the spa here which includes use of the facilities. I did not see a unit but saw the grounds, pool, tennis court, and restaurant. The grounds are well kept and the pool area is nice. They have a small childrens pool under a sunshade which has an ongoing rain shower in the centre of the pool it looked fun for kids and kept them out of the adult pool. The bar had good drinks however the restaurant had very little in the way of vegetarian food and was unable to make substitutions. So there is definitely Room for improvement there. The staff seemed very friendly . And my spa experience was nice.

1st time visitors, went for a mid week spa day. Spa was great, nice staff, clean and great massage. Bartender in pool area was not friendly or personable. Actually seemed annoyed he had guests. Had to track down other staff because he kept leaving his area and didnt respond to the call light for service. Pretty badbadbadexperience, wouldnt recommend

Quiet and out of the way town homes. Great little get away. The bed in the studio was rather uncomfortable though.

A beautiful resort that has an arizona vibe to it. It very close to Scottsdale which is awesome if you want to travel around instead of sitting it. Staff is very nice and makes you feel at home. Good job everyone 👍

A week in a 3 bedroom villa was quite peaceful and restorative. Staff was quite helpful and our villa was nicely appointed.

Resort was set up for enjoyment in spite of Covid-19 going on. I felt safe while in the common areas with good separation and barriers in place. Resort is well laid out for walks and activities. Room was clean and spacious. We were in a studio. Took some experimenting with fans to get temperature right for our personal comfort.

Kathleen was a Grreat body massage therapist and Heather for my face therapist massage was great also.

I do travel Nursing and Ive never received horrible customer service from management before, so you would think that this company would give a discount of some sort for the water pipes bursting in the bathroom, water was everywhere, wet the towels that were under the sick and my boys clothes that they had left on the bathroom floor. We had to call the front desk two to three times before we could get the maintenance guy to finally come to our room to figure out what was the problem, they did give us an extra hour to check out at 11am but my sons clothes were not dry yet from the dryer so I just packed up their items anyway to meet the check out time. The front clerk went to ask the manager if we could get some sort of discount for the inconvenience and she told her no, as if it was our fault their pipe underneath their sink broke, popped or whatever, the maintenance guy was nice enough to get us more towels so we all could shower once he fixed the pipes. This is my second time staying here, the first time, we had no issues but this time, we had issues but was not treated fair about the situation. I wish we could of had a different outcome, very disappointed.

Actually is more of a time share place, but it’s cool to hang out by the pool, which anyone can do. The food is classic pub fare but really really good, drinks expensive but it’s Scottsdale. It’s a decent local get away.

Stayed there 2 nights over Thanksgiving while our daughter and grandkids came into town. Staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful. Everyone was so relaxed and slept so good. We would definitely stay again.

Negative: The only complaint I would have,is the toilet is extremely low to the ground.There is a bar to hold onto to help you get up,but with someone who has knee problems,it was tough.

The time is 8:19pm (7/3/2020) as Im writing this review inside the lobby. Why am I writing this review inside the lobby? Neither our keys, the front desk keys nor maintenance keys will let us back into the villa where our belongings are. We also explained to the staff that we only went out to eat and grocery shop for the weekend so we have things in the car that need to be quickly refrigerated. Staff was/is nice enough but my God, this is our 20 year anniversary were trying to celebrate. NOT happy right now.

A beautiful relaxing escape.

Very clean, spacious and accommodating rentals. The price is unbeatable!!! For the same or less than surrounding hotels, youll have an amazing little Villa. The pool is large and open pretty late. If you choose, there is a bar right by the pool that you can order an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. I honestly do not have any complaints.

Always a welcome to return too. I little quiet becuase of CoVid but still a pleasant place to visit. Not as fancy but always clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Great place for a family get away. Pool was wonderful. Lots of activities for the kids to do. Movie night by the pool was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great happy hour! Clean and things were well organized! Only downside was the breakfast. It was very limited and not very well managed.

Had such a great time visiting the long weekend, and paying 3 star hotel prices, for a 4 star resort.My room was a 2 story, 1 bedroom villa, with a nice balcony.They have an amazing museum like patio full of cactus of all kinds, miniature golf, and an Indian sanctuary. All decorated by entertaining statues, so fun!The pool is where is at, and the Grille bar.I am definitely coming back to the Camelback.Oh!, and staff is Ammazzzzing!

Dated decor and facility, terrible service, 4:00 check in and 10: am check out, only 2 people with main keys to access anything. Uninspired pool. Plus, a resort fee not mentioned at check in. Would never go back.

Never knew such a nice place to stay excisted. Now that we know we will never stay anywhere else but here while we are in AZ .

Great resort friendly staff, activities throughout the day

So, this place gave me mixed vibes. Most of the staff were great, but the manager, I think it was Megan, at the front desk was rude. Maybe she was having a rough day. BUT, my grandparents who were in their 80s, were locked out of their room for 2 hours at 10pm at night. Ive never heard of anything like this. Then, not only did the maintenance guy accuse them of locking their deadbolt fr the inside? Um, impossible? But also accused them of leaving out the backdoor? (The security bar was even in place). Turns out the battery to the key reader was dead (something an employee and hour before said was likely the case an hour later and was laughed at my maintenance saying that was not it). But, they were kind enough to offer my grandparents a water. LOL. Not a free night, or week, but a water. One. A joke. Get it together. Amazing resort, though they dont clean the tile floors I dont think.

I have been in all of the rooms. Except I wouldnt call them rooms, theyre more like beautiful condos and homes. Everyone single one is spacious, well kept and well decorated, very cozy. From the front desk, to the pool, to the management everyone greats you with a smile and is very helpful. The grille serves great food, not to mention you can pretty much walk to all the excitement that Downtown Scottsdale has to offer. If youre looking to overpay for hype, this is not the place. If you want a great room with a great location and amenities, then go to Scottsdale Camelback Resort.

Not the fanciest place Ive stayed, but perfect for my mom and my two little kids! The pool was definitely the best part. So kid friendly.

Weve stayed here multiples times since 2013, and keep coming back because of the location, big rooms and beautiful grounds.The villas are spacious with a Southwest theme. The units are old but aging well. The studios and 2-bedrooms are both great.Unfortunately, this trip was the first time Ive ever seen bugs in the units. We stayed in the 2-bedroom next to the playground. The grout in the kitchen has worn away, letting in bugs. It wasnt a big deal but a bit disappointing.The salt-water pool is great and they have a kiddie pool that our 3-year-old loves.There are plenty of outdoor games, a mini putting green, propane grills, volleyball pit, tennis courts and walking path.The location is near the mall and the Scottsdale Waterfront.

This is my third time staying here on an exchange. Ive always liked it and have enjoyed the updated facilities this time however my five star stay has devolved today. I was deeply disappointed when I came out to the pool today (8/16) and the bartender was not wearing anything to cover their face while every other employee has been all week. Instead of addressing the directly, I went to the front desk and asked if there was a reason the bartender was not wearing a mask and was serving food and drinks. I received a flippant answer about them standing behind a two foot wide piece of plexiglass even though they were walking back and forth and breathing on the drinks. I pressed the matter and was told they would contact the manager of the grill. I went out to the pool for the rest of the afternoon and watched the bartender continue to mix drinks, pour beer, and serve food without ever putting a mask on. I guess the staff at the resort doesnt care about my safety nor the safety of any other guest. Needless to say, I didnt approach or buy anything from the bar all day.

My family and I decided to have a two day staycation here at Scottsdale Camelback Resort. We were blown away with how nice the rooms were. They were super clean and they have a full kitchen with dishwasher full of clean dishes as well as having everything you need to cook with. A washer and dryer are in the room as well. We got a 2 room villa so I’m not sure if their studio rooms have some of these things or not. They offer a studio a two room villa and a three room villa. They offer dvds and blue rays for rent at no charge. A pool a kiddie pool and a huge jacuzzi. The pool has a poolside grill to order food and drinks. They offer spa services at their Running Water Spa. We didn’t use the spa services so I can’t comment on them. We did order food though which was delicious!! There is a theater which plays movies but was not available due to the coronavirus social distancing orders here in Arizona. It might of been available for private rental I’m not sure. They offer basketball hoops, three tennis courts, putting green, miniature gold a labyrinth. As well as an activity lawn a walking trail that’s probably at least a mile long, horseshoe pit and bocce court, sand volleyball court and a playground. They have picnic tables throughout the property with barbecues as well. They have everything !! We will be back for sure, this was a great Staycation!!

Nice place to relax and enjoy with or without kids. Love all the activities provided and the separate pools. Theres one for everyone or if you want peace and quiet they have a Zen pool.

Very nice resort. The units are in great shape and the pool & bar area can accommodate a large crowd.

I had a great time. My husband and I love it here. We have been coming for three years now. The only down fall was the pool was much ccolder this year. We like to swim at night but I couldnt this year.

This place has everything you need. Awesome villas, friendly staff, heated saltwater pool. We cant wait to go back.

Great weekend with friends ! Accommodations were a bit dated but excellently kept.

Nice property, rooms spacious and well equipped. Only gripe about the place would be the showers. The master leaked all over the floor due to a missing threshold on the door. The hall bath had such a poor flow that it was hard to even get wet. I understand low flow, but this was no flow. Other than that, the rest of the room was neat and tidy.

Fabulous accommodations with all the amenities of home. Would definitely recommend this resort. From experience would like to see a better communication experience for forgotten items....to be able to provide contact information and more assistance to possible help with the return
