I was greeted by The owner I think his name is Nick, and he was very friendly and chatty. Made me feel comfortable and he listened carefully to what I wanted. He told me what wouldn’t work and what would. He understood what I wanted and did a better job than anyone has in a salon ever. He’s very up to date with hair styles which is awesome !! Very intelligent and open minded man but also very down to earth. Don’t let his straight forward ness fool you. This man knows what he’s doing. I’m extremely picky with how people leave my hair and I’ll pay big bucks for it too. They do okay but this man here turned me into a brand new person and I didn’t even have my makeup done 😂 i got many compliments. Definitely coming again!

Absolutely loved my haircut! Nick did an amazing job, and I loved his confidence when I asked him questions during the consultation. The surrounding stores may look a little sketchy on the outside but this salon is super nice and really updated on the inside!

I showed him photos of what I had in mind and he worked with me to achieve the color I wanted. The result was even better than I could have hoped! On top of being an incredibly talented hair stylist, Nick is also super kind and welcoming. He makes you feel comfortable from the start, and offers a lot of helpful advice personalized to your hair type. I highly recommend this salon! I will certainly be back!

Great experience. Nick is a total character. He was a little slow to warm up but soon enough his true hospitality shone through. He talks when he does hair, a LOT, and its so enjoyable. He went on a little bit of a tangent with his anti-democrat views, little did he know I bleed blue, LOL! But I wasnt the least bit offended because he seems like a genuinely nice person and ..... man, does he know hair ! He listened carefully to what I wanted. Asked me pointed questions about how my hair behaves. Told me what was and wasnt possible. He works quickly and intensely, which is a real plus when youre there for a 3+ hour process. He delivered EXACTLY what I asked for and I couldnt be happier with my new hairdo. Its so rare to find a talented and competent stylist these days who delivers results. Bon Bon has gained a new customer in me for as long as they are in business. Its honestly the best hairstyle I have had in over a decade.

My regular stylist wasnt able to do my hair, so I did some research and found this salon and made an appointment with Nick based on all the amazing reviews. I went in a little skeptical since I had been going to the same stylist for years. I wanted my hair cut and colored a chocolate brown color. Typically, my hair never picks up a lighter color (its original color is close to black) without having to bleach it, but Nick was able to achieve the perfect chocolate brown color and cut my hair EXACTLY like the photos I showed him!! No bleaching required! He also gave me some really great tips on how to maintain the longevity of my hair color, the health of my hair, and how to use dry shampoo and lots of other great tips and tricks! Nick is absolutely brilliant at what he does, and I could not be more satisfied with the results!!! Not to mention hes extremely professional and honest and wont try to up sell you on products/services that you dont need. I urge everyone to try out Nick at least once and support small businesses and small business owners. You will not leave disappointed!! :)

New to AZ and was looking for a hairstylist near my new home. I like to patronize small business so I left several messages with salon loft style independent hairdressers. For the most part I found them to have an unprofessional phone manner, a few didnt bother to return my call, and another only wanted to communicate via text. I then decided to call a real professional salon and that led me to Bon Bon.My call was answered by a real person who clearly identifying the salon. We then had friendly dialog of my needs and the salons services. All my questions were answered and an appointment was set.Several days later I was cheerfully greeted, introduced to my stylist and other stylists in the salon. We reviewed how I wear my hair and what I would like done. Nick is an interesting person with a great personality. I enjoyed learning about him and totally confident in his skill & experience. I feel he is genuinely interested in my story and in giving me a hairstyle I can feel great about and style myself between salon visits.I was so pleased I referred my husband who met with Nick a few days later. We both plan on going back to Bon Bon for our next hair styling.I highly recommend this salon.

I really enjoyed my cut. The owner is very knowledgeable and really spent time with me. I said I just want to look cool and I left looking very cool. He even taught me tricks for my fine hair. My boyfriend said I have found my stylist. Coming from a busy market like New York he is very comfortable with walk-ins.

I made an appointment with Nick while visiting Phoenix for a month. He was able to get me scheduled quickly, and did a terrific job with my cut and style. It’s nerve wracking being without a favorite stylist for an extended time, but Nick puts you at ease and is a great stylist; he also had some helpful observations about the area. My new favorite salon!! I recently moved to the northern Phoenix area and was a little nervous about finding a new hair stylist (my hair is very thick, curly and can be difficult to work with). Nick has been a dream come true! I found his salon when I was looking for a last minute blow out before a Christmas Eve party, he was happy to squeeze me in and was excited to work with my crazy hair! I have never been happier with my hair blown out and styled than I was after my first experience here, and Ive since been back twice - for highlights and another blowout - all within the last 3 weeks and cant wait for my next visit! I decided to try a platinum blonde box color last week and totally botched my hair. Instead of blonde my hair was multicolored! I havent been in AZ long enough to have a hair dresser I trust, so I asked a friend at work if she knew of any hairdressers that could see me on short notice and fix my mess. She gave me Nicks phone number. I was amazed by his knowledge and experience. He colored, highlighted and cut my hair with such ease! He was able to fit me in on short notice (the very next day) and gave me a consultation before he started to make sure we were on the same page with how I wanted my hair to look. Last week I had the most horrific hair experience any natural blonde could ever imagine. YOUR HAIR STYLIST IS SO IMPORTANT! Well, I can officially say I’ve learned a very important lesson (and hopefully last) ever!!! A simple hair cut, turned into me spending a total of 10.5 hours in salons in less than 24 hours! The first 6.5 hours creating an absolute disaster and the last 4 hours fixing the worst nightmare I ever thought possible. I owe the biggest thanks to Nick at Bon Bon Salon & Spa for fixing what another girl did somewhere else! He is hands down a hair god and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone with any hair needs! Please learn from my mistake and let a REAL STYLIST do the job! And NEVER let someone convince you to do something you’re not looking for!! Nick goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy! I will definitely be back. Thanks again Nick for saving my hair! I have received compliments all week and never imagined such an amazing outcome!

I discovered this hair salon, by what I think is fate because I am completely in love with the service! My hair was very damaged, dry and frizzy when I went in. I dont normally trust hair salons since my experience has typically been disappointing to say the least. During my visit, they were very knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing and how certain products worked. I completely trusted their judgement and didnt feel an ounce of nervousness when they color fixed and cut my hair. The aftermath was soft healthy looking hair and a well blended ombre. This is for sure my go to salon forever!
