The best place to rent an electric scooter. Delivered to hotel before we arrived. The equipment is in excellent condition. Stayed charged the a whole day of Disneyland. Customer service is great. So nice to be able to have and be able to leave park with. Rental prices very responsible

While attempting via phone to rent a wheelchair for my son for our week long stay at the Disneyland Hotel I was transferred directly to Deckert. The employee had a difficult time understanding and communicating but I was encouraging and patient as she explained she was in training. I explained that this wheelchair is for a young man with not only mobility issues but intellectual disabilities making the use of a scooter impossible. Using this information and prompt payment the reservation was accepted and confirmed. Within 5 minutes I received a call back and was informed that due to my sons size we would need a larger chair for an additional fee and I would receive a new receipt. Still encouraged I replied, no problem. =)Except...I never received the new receipt...AND... when I called to verify the changes for his size and make sure payment was made I was further informed that in fact Deckert does NOT rent wheelchairs for individuals over 300 lbs AT ALL. They provide only motorized scooters. NOT a single manual chair is available to rent for an individual above 300 lbs. Not even one. =(I appreciate the novice attempts to appease a customer and I appreciate the quick refund once I tracked down the knowledgeable staff person, thus 3 stars in the review. I feel I would be remiss to gloss over the fact that this business seems to have an arrangement with the Disneyland Hotel as the phone call was a direct transfer. As a business with such a high rating and obviously in the health care industry I think its terribly sad to see such a glaring lack of accommodation. I realize scooters are probably more popular and more profitable and a heavy duty wheelchair might not be rented frequently but being THE preferred Disneyland provider maybe just keep ONE on hand? =/Chris and Mere Couzens

I recently rented an evc from Deckert’s. My first time to have to do something like this. It was smooth and easy. From the initial phone call to pick-up. I highly recommend renting from this supplier! Delivery at 1 hotel and pick up from another was no problem! The evc was waiting for me when I arrived - pick up was worked out for my schedule and not a pickup route schedule. That’s service! Thank you to all at Deckert’s!

We have rented scooters from Deckert several times in the past without any problems. Recently we rented 2 scooters, but this time we unfortunately had a problem with one of them. I called the Deckert office and within the hour they brought us a replacement and we were on our way again. The customer service is outstanding. Do not hesitate to use their services, they are excellent!

Polite, friendly and affordable! I often refer families to them for equipment, rentals and supplies. Started using them as a vendor and have just continued whenever I can.Sent a family over recently for wheelchair repair and they were VERY happy!Cant go wrong - one stop shopping for durable medical equipment, incontinence supplies, wound care, specialty shoes, wheelchair rentals... Just call if you need something.. they are an endless resource!!

These folks are the best.From the moment i stepped in, they were extra helpful and friendly.I took my grandmas walker for repairs and charged me pennies compared to another place.

I went with Deckert Surgical for my ECV Scooter rental mostly because of their price and the reviews found here. They were easily the least expensive and sometimes people worry about sacrificing quality or service--but for my experience, that was exceptional. The chair was waiting for me at my hotel when I arrived the night before. I rented one for 3 days. The 2nd day, it didnt get plugged in correctly, so it was not fully charged (totally not their fault). When it was evident the scooter was not going to make it through the day, I called to ask what could be done. They stated that if I was able to get it to one of the resort hotels I would be able to make an easy exchange. I was VERY impressed with that.Thank you, Deckert! We have used Deckerts on three different trips to Disneyland. They are fabulous in service and the scooters have all been flawless. On our most recent trip one man in our family found that he too needed a scooter after spending the first of five days in the Magic Kingdom. We called Deckerts in the morning when they opened and they brought out an additional scooter within an hour of our call. Thats great service!!! Nice people too.

I have purchased many items at Deckert, in including 2 Pride Scooters! It is a Great place to shop for Medical Items! The Employees always treat me like a Family Member!

Diego the store manager refuses to give refunds and states that the bank is at fault when clearly the bank just advised him there is nothing wrong with the card and that they show nothing pending from their end coming back as a refund.

We rented a manual wheelchair for our week at Disneyland and Blizzcon last year and I was truly shocked at the affordability of the pricing these guys offered-especially including drop off and pick up at our hotel!We even had an issue with the wheelchair partway thru the trip and they helped us get it resolved same-day. Definitely recommend these guys! But maybe next time we will rent an ECV so my poor husband doesnt have to push me!PS: we ended up renting one from the park the last day (we decided to go to Downtown Disney) and the quality from Deckert is ten times better!

Old school medical supply shop, been in Santa Ana forever. The gentleman that worked with me has been with this shop since the 60s. Congenial and easy to talk to, I was able to rent a wheel chair for the month for my ailing mother. At 50 bucks for the month plus a refundable 25 dollar deposit, this wheel chair was worth twice the price in gold given the circumstances my mother is in. Of interest to note: As I become immersed in the world of elder care, Medi_care has become a new word in my vocabulary. Unfortunately these folks do not accept Medi-care. It was explained to me the patients were getting reimbursed but the money was not making it to this establishment. Not a sustainable business practice, so I could understand.

I have been using Deckert for over 3 years renting wheelchairs for family vacation. Great Staff always very helpful and very nice and great prices!!!

On a recent trip to Disneyland I rented a scooter from Deckarts. The scooter was there waiting for me at the hotel when I arrived and was perfect; long battery life, smooth operation and easy to maneuver (even through the crowds at Disneyland!) I had only rented it for two days, but our last day left us with hours to kill before heading to the airport. I called and asked if I could keep the scooter for another day. The gentleman that I spoke with said there would be no charge for the few extra hours and to just leave the scooter with the customer service desk when I checked out. I cant say enough good things about this company and would recommend them to anyone traveling to Southern California and in need of a scooter to get around. Thank you so much Deckerts, you made my Disneyland trip, not only possible, but much more pleasant!

What can i say about Deckerk. my wife and i spent seven at days Disneyland and having the scooter was nice to have on my trip. i have very bad knees and i was grateful to have theyre scooter.i had some people came up to me who had Disneyland scooter and ask where they can get one and how much they where to rent. I said Deckerk surgical co.

Ive rented several time from Deckert. Scooters are in great shape, clean and super reliable.

I twisted my ankle while at disneyland on our first day there and needed a scooter to get from our hotel to the park. we rented from our hotel one of their scooters, the battery drained and wouldnt hold charge. i called the company and let them know about my problem. since we were at California adventure at the time my scooter died, they let me trade the scooter out with one from the grand california hotel. the man i spoke with, diego, was very helpful and understanding with my situation. i will definately recommend this company to anyone that needs a scooter or wheelchair.

Family owned business they are always nice and accommodating. I will be going to Deckert Surgical Co from now on.
