I have always had a pretty pleasant experience with staff and providers. They are timely and have been wonderful in responding to messages (myhealthyvet). However, if you are having to go to the clinic, do not let your first encounter at the door set the tone for your visit. As a medical professional, I feel the first encounter a patient has with medical staff should be inviting and friendly, not rushed with the sense that the patient is some kind of burden. I still appreciate my Sanford VA clinic, but suggest some reorganization.

This VA clinic needs a lot of improvement. I requested to see the doctor and was told that she was unavailable. The last time I saw the doctor was October 1, 2019. I asked for a new back brace last one was issued to me in 2005. I needed new hearing aids last one issued in 1996. The only thing I hear from this clinic: you cant have it, you have to go to Fayetteville VAMC, your not eligible for medical supplies, and my favorite you cant go to a civilian medical facility. I lived 50+ miles from the VAMC. So I transferred to another VAMC. Maybe I will get the medical care that I need.

I have been trying to return a phone call to this VA location for two days. This is the most unprofessional Clinic Ive ever seen. I truly believe that theyre giving me anther opportunity to die for my country.

I have always received good care. When I could get in during covid. The secure messaging works well.

If you’re going to have someone greet your patients and ask Covid questions that person should at least have a good personality. Someone that cares for the patient because this lady didn’t. Got my dad to his appointment 15 minutes early and waited in the car for 40 minutes, and people showing up long after us where being seen first. They had no idea why my dad was there. Had an appointment to blood work and shingles shot. This clinic rarely follows through on anything that they talk to you about during your appointments too. Our veterans deserve better.

This VA clinic is very user friendly. You can walk in and get answers or at least referred to where you can get an answer. The wait area is full of information. The staff does their best to provide service as soon as they can. The environment is very clean and comfortable.

My husband went in today because he’s been sick. Coughing, aches etc.. we wanted to rule out walking pneumonia or bronchitis. HE HAS A COLD. The PA diagnosed him with COPD! I’m done. She heard weezing and said nope it’s COPD. He literally has been sick for a week but she says COPD.

Dr. Uma (cant spell her last name) and Dr. Donthireddi? My wife and I love them!!! They are amazing!! And the nurse and receptionists were so kind!!! And the Phlebotomist!!!❤️ Great day at the VA!!!❤️🇺🇸

Why do I even waste the gas? The only care I receive are referrals. That never come to anything! The Metal health staff are the only folks that have show any real concern. Or that have made anything happen in a timely manner.

I have been waiting for my cholesterol medicine for 3 months to come by mail. The doctor assigned to me refuses to do a face to face with me for reasons unknown to me. Her attitude the one time she did see me made me feel as though I committed a crime for coming to the VA. I served my country for 26 years and I feel this doctor should not be allowed to take care of us Vets.

Actually, I receive great comprehensive health care here.

This place is a joke. When you have a phone appt, they miss it. They also cancel your appts w/out telling you. Then they give you another appt 1-2 months down the road if your lucky.
