These guys are AWESOME!!!If you are looking for a memorable evening, this will fit the bill.Remember to think a week ahead of time for your scheduled class if you are wanting to make your project as a gift because the glasswork has to cool for a week before you can pick it up.Also they are popular so join a class early.I will be doing this class again!

Great place to learn about glass blowing. My two daughters made glass bowls. The instructors were very helpful and explain the process very well. Its quite hot so bring a water bottle. Close toed shoes are required. They provide eye protection. The results are amazing.

A good learning and fun experience, happy to actually see and do things (well, with a bit of guidance from the staff there), and finally take them home (after a week or two).

Fun activity, highly recommend. The guides are very helpful and skilled. Shaping a glass bowl is harder than I expected it to be, but the team makes it extremely easy. Just don’t expect to be able to do it by yourself.

Went for a work team off-site and had a blast. We had a large group of ~30, and the staff was so organized and helped us all individuallly make what we wanted within a set of options. I made 4 coasters and a paper weight, and they came out great! Highly recommend visiting BAGI at Kelly Park (theres also a fun disc golf course next door)!

Note: this location is moving soon.If you bring a date and both of yall are beginners, Id recommend signing up for party of two. During that time you will essentially make collage art using different colored glass.Dont worry if youve never done anything like this before. Instructors were very friendly and gave concise and clear instructions on what to do.We also had plenty of time and full freedom to create what we wanted.Note that when you are done making your glass art, you will have to leave it there for them to fuse and pick it up after a couple days.

Really fun for a work offsite. Excellent and cheery instructors. Not sure Id want to do it all the time or on my own time. But sure was fun for an afternoon as a mixer activity. Only bummer is the tiles, flowers, and paperweights we made need to cure 24 hours, so you dont get to walk out the door with them right away (like at a pottery place).

Fabulous place! Whether you want to learn to make beautiful glass beads or go for the gusto and actually blow glass, this is the place to go. Super helpful and supportive, the instructors make it a fun adventure...and you have something to impress your friends with. Great for corporate team building, too.

I organized a visit here for my team offsite, and everyone really enjoyed it! Setting up the visit was very simple and just took a few phone calls. After some quick demonstrations, everyone in my group (10 people) made a fused-glass plate and either a orb-shaped paperweight or a flower ornament in a few hours. The pieces need a few days to set, so I picked them up a week later.

It was a very unique experience wearing the glass-blowers hat for a couple of hours this Saturday when my wife and I visited BAGI for a Floppy Bowl making class. The instructions were very skilled and organized. Gave us a good insight in to the making of a glass bowl and let us create our own bowls with some (well a lot!) help. I wouldnt going back again if not for the steep pricing! Its a bit of a novelty I suppose, hence possibly the pricing...

I have attended 2 workshops with them-- one glass fusion and the other glass blowing (pumpkin making). I had a superb time on both occasions. The glass fusion workshop involved creating a mosaic pattern of ones choice from shards of colorful glass positioned on a large slab of clear glass. The glass slab could be used as a whole, or partioned into three long sub-slabs. The pattern is then baked by the experts in a kiln and the resulting fused conglomerate is ready for pick up in a few days. I chose the three sliver style, one with red shards (combination of transparent and opaque), the other blue and the third green. I was delighted with the outcome. The second workshop was scheduled just in time for Thanksgiving and the pumpkin blowing instructor duo (Jarrod and Gavin) was outstanding! The students were taught to work with molten glass to create a hollow glass bulb, pattern ridges on the tube, add two different colors (of their choice). Finally, the students were taught to fuse a stem (slender piece of molten glass, also with ridges and of a third color or irridiscence of the students choosing) onto the pumpkin, twist and curl the stem into a spiral, and securely glue it onto the hot pumpkin body. This was a phenomenal class with significant complexity and a variety of techniques to learn and demonstrate. [In the interest of full disclosure, I did attend a third Valentines day vase blowing class at BAGI, that was, frankly, quite a bit disappointing; I am leaving that experience out for the purpose of this review, considering it an outlier by BAGI standards (likely they were just having a bad day), and for the sake of otherwise giving BAGI a 5/5 review.]
