I cannot recommend Dr. Deane enough. She is skilled, efficient, and has great attention to detail. She notices things about my eyes that other doctors have either overlooked or just not mentioned. I feel very safe with my vision in her capable hands!The office staff is also excellent, I am always seen at my appointment time and they are always friendly and helpful.I can also recommend the optical shop; I bought my latest frames from the Eye Medical Clinic, and over a year later they still look great! I would have never picked these frames for myself without their help.

First time to this facility. Worked with Crissandra and Dr. Sullivan. Outstanding service. Upbeat and made every effort to to facilitate the procedure. Professional and personable. The office persons were friendly and helpful as well.

Great office and staff. Dr. Deane is a wizard, very thorough. Make sure your insurance is accepted here because if it is not, it is very expensive to fill prescription and/or get lenses. My only complaint is the wait time. Other than that, my experiences here have been very positive.

I’ve been going to Eye Medical practically my whole life. My latest appointment was with Dr. Deane and she was very thorough and patient. She referred me to a cornea specialist in the same office, for which I was grateful. All of their personnel are knowledgeable and professional. Unlike the large medical facilities, this smaller facility is easy and personal.

I have been going to the Eye Medical Clinic for over 30 years and I was so well taken care of I would go no where else.

Dr. Paik is very knowledgeable and the staff is extremely professional and accommodating. I could not ask for anything more. I highly recommend.

The desk clerk and the assistant who tested my eyes prior to seeing the physician were patient, courteous, listened to my concern about the pressure test. When I saw the physician, he listened to my concerns also, explained a symptom about which I was especially concerned. I left feeling that I had received excellent care.

I would give negative star if there is an option for it. I regretted that I did not follow people advised in YELP and pushed through with my appointment. The doctor is great but the clinic has hidden fee. I made an appointment via phone and stated clearly I would like to have annual eye care to get glasses and contact lenses. The operator reviewed my medical insurance and VSP insurance then advised the clinic accepts my VSP. I asked her to go through with me regarding the check up fee and she said The day of your appointment, someone will go through it with you. On that day, I informed the lady at front desk that I am new to the clinic. She provided me new patient package for me to fill up but she forgot completely to mention the additional fee if I want to get contact lenses prescription. After the exam completed, I went again to front desk to ask for the prescription so I can order my glasses and contact. This is what she told me well, the doctor has not signed off the prescription, I will send it to your email later. I verified my email address THREE TIMES to her. Guess what, no email. Today 3/29/21 I called and spoke to another lady, she told me I have to pay 130+ for my contact prescription. SURPIRSE HIDDEN FEE. I clarified with her that staff did not mentioned anything except the $10 co-pay. She said she will escalate my issues to her manager. In short, MEDICAL EYE CLINIC is doing a shady business by force the patients to pay after the service is DONE. It is NOT RIGHT. I would not recommend new patient to come here.

I have been a patient at this clinic for 50+years. For the last several years I have been paying the bills myself since the clinic does not accept my health insurance. And with the need to see the Dr every three months the bills are not small.Dr Sullivan is an exceptional doctor- open, clear in his explanations, personable, and ready to tell you what he doesn’t know about your situation. He keeps me coming back -and paying the bills. He gets five stars. The business office gets minus one star.

They were very helpful and diligent in getting my mother to see Dr. Sullivan asap since her condition was serious.Dr. Christina Dean is an amazing doctor and a wonderful person. She saw my mother on short notice and was able to alleviate some of my mother’s pain until her official appointment with Dr. Sullivan.Dr. Sullivan is awesome. He’s knowledgeable and very humble. He listened to us and was able to answer all our questions. And when he saw that my mother’s condition was out of his scope, he was modest enough to say so and he personally contacted another doctor for a rushed referral. He also asked me to follow up and call him the next day in case I don’t hear from the other doctor.Everyone in that clinic is very professional and awesome. But most importantly they are honest and humane. Traits that are unfortunately very hard to find in today’s physicians.I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

My husband has seen Dr. Sullivan for many years and is extremely pleased with his care. Dr. Sullivan is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time and tests necessary to stay abreast of the condition of his eyes. He takes the time to explain everything in layman’s terms so we both understand what is going on and what steps are necessary to take care of his eyes. He also is very personable and charming.

I have always had a very positive experience at Eye Medical Clinic. Dr. Dean was very personable and took the time to explain the procedures and what she recommends.

My first time seeing an ophthalmologist instead of an optometrist and must say Dr Sullivan was outstanding! He did a very thorough exam and triple checked my script until I was comfortable with the results. In addition to being an extremely knowledgeable doctor, he is also a very patient and kind man with a sense of humor. What more can one ask. Entire staff was warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

On multiple occasions we have interfaced with all three doctors (their medical assistants and administrative personnel) at the Eye Medical Clinic. Without exception they are all very professional, have a wealth of experience, are very patient, very friendly, and always take the time to ensure that we fully understand everything. We have had eye glasses prescriptions updated, cysts removed from eyelids, and have had cataract surgery. Results have, without exception, been superb.

Extremely expensive , good staff though

I love Dr. Sullivan! I mean, he takes his time to explain certain conditions that might affect you and lets you know how to avoid complications! As a young diabetic this type of information is vital. He was caring, patient, thorough and just so nice and welcoming! It was such a pleasant visit. I recommend him to everyone I know!

So professional and personable. They managed to squeeze me in same day and got my eye infection taken care of. The doctor was excellent and easy to talk to. Great level of treatment.

My father was very nearsighted and he has going to your office when it opened 75 yrs ago with Dr. Beard. When I was in high school and I wanted to wear contacts - Dr. Beard said he would throw out the window and that glasses fine but I got contacts anyway. I laugh at that. Dr. Sullivan said it was the best vision for my condition. I have seen Dr. Masi for few years. I have seeing Dr. Sullivan for many years and I appreciate his honesty and advise because I am seeing very well and am enjoying life more since my my cataract and vision surgery by Dr. Bagga. So all the vision problems I had wear solved. Of I should continue to see him every 6 months because

Dr. Sullivan saw me as a new patient because I was visiting our son & his family. My ophthalmologist in Carlsbad referred me to The Eye Clinic because he used to work there. Dr. Sullivan was thorough and explained in detail my problem and gave me the treatment I needed to feel better. He was wonderful!! And he made me laugh too! The other staff was also professional and helpful. His direction and the medication has really helped me! Thank you!

Dr. Sullivan is extremely knowledgeable. I went in to get a stye removed surgically. I was very nervous because I had one of this removed in the past and the doctor who did it the first time left my eye extremely swollen and I couldn’t even open my eye for more than a week. Dr. Sullivan did an exceptional job. People could barely tell I had surgery on the same day. I’m extremely thankful for his services. While doing the small surgery he would make conversation, so I got a little distracted and didn’t suffer as much. The nurse let me hold her hand which made the process feel like I was with my family. I can’t recommend Dr. Sullivan enough. He is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had.

My elderly mom has been a patient of Dr. Sullivans for over 15 years. He has taken such good care of her, through cataract surgery and other issues. She has advanced glaucoma, and Im convinced she would be blind by now if it werent for Dr. Sullivan. Recently, though, he went so far above the call of duty, I have to commend him. When my mom woke from a nap on a Saturday and couldnt see out of one eye, I called the Eye Medical Clinic doctor-on-call number, and Dr. Sullivan picked up the call right away. No answering service and no wait for a call-back. He felt the situation was urgent enough that he had us meet him at his office so he could look at her eye. On a Saturday! Within an hour! Who does that? He and his wonderful staff made sure to squeeze her in over the next few weeks as she was treated, even though his workload was huge due to the passing of a colleague, and Im happy to report that she can see again, same as she did before the problem. Dr. Sullivan is the best!

Always a quality exam. Dr. Sullivan has year of experience. He has a very caring manner and pays close attention to my needs. His support staff did a fine job of giving me a through checkup.

Having been seen by two urgent care facilities and examined by two dermatologists, and given a complete eye exam by an doctor claiming to be an eye surgeon eligible to take Board exam, I found Dr John Sullivan.Within five minutes , or less, Dr Sullivan determined my tear ducts were closed resulting in a torrent of tears for the previous SIX WEEKS. I am grateful for Dr Sullivans skills, training and expertise that finally gave me the answer and the treatment to restore my sight well being.

My entire experience at Eye Medical was very high, from the amenities, including care for social distancing, and everyone on the staff. Im really satisfied and hope they can remain my eye clinic for good.

Update: they called me to say, appereantly I was early to last appointment and they did a favor by letting me in 5-10 mins early. I asked about the wait time in the prior appointment but their system didnt show my first appointment so i still consider that one was not my fault until i get an update.----Looking at the other comments, I wonder if I am just unlucky but so far they never honor the appointment time. My first visit (before shutdown) I needed to wait an extra 40 mins after paper work and this time it is 25 mins and counting. Dont get me wrong this is the wait time to see the doctor not the wait time during the procedure.Actually this time before the appointment I specifically asked and got confirmation that i wont need to wait in the lobby.

2 cataract surgeries a week apart. All went very well with excellent results using multifocal lenses. Recovery was pretty easy. Dr. Bagga is outstanding in terms of her skills, professionalism, and bedside manner. At every appointment shes been willing to spend as much time as necessary to answer my questions.

My wife has regular appointments for glaucoma while I see Dr. Sullivan for an annual eye exam. However, he has been seeing me recently for one eye that has been watering. He gave me some suggestions to help this situation. Our only complaint is that we have to wait 30-60 minutes at every appointment to see Dr. Sullivan, which is very frustrating.

Just had intraocular surgery by Dr Bagga she is amazing! Walks you through the whole process. Even gave me a call the night of my surgery to see how i was feeling. Went to see Dr Bagga next morning said i had 20/20 vision in my right eye. Cant wait for her to do the left eye. Great bed side manners
