I invested in an upgrade, everything went really well except it took quite some time for the final fitting, but that was because of delays caused by the COVID pandemic.The Clear Choice employees were always professional and cheerful: I was in good hands.

It was very comforting to know that Dr. Patel was being very careful and concerned about my health & how I was feeling during the implant procedure. My blood sugars were much higher than I expected as Dr Patel suspected my blood sugars were too high so they took a reading with their meter. Because of it and my blood pressure going up and down he couldn’t and wouldn’t do sedation surgery. He explained to me it could damage my brain. That put a big scare into me & made me think of making healthy changes to have a happy life. So I then asked Dr. Patel if it would be possible to still do the surgery with a local anesthesia? He said yes if I had my diabetes medication and took it then. I did and Dr. Patel asked me several times throughout the surgery how I was doing as he was very concerned. I also had a deep fear of the drill and my gag reflexes acted up several times so Dr. Patel had an adjustment made so less water would flow out and his assistant was very good with keeping my mouth suctioned. Dr. Patel was very patient and understanding. I certainly hope you add and keep this surgeon on to your Clear Choice facility. It would e a great loss if you don’t. Also last year another surgeon did my other implant by sedation medicine and I had to drink meal replacement shakes for almost a week. A few hours after this local anesthesia I was able to chew & eat a sandwich etc. So my next implant will be with a local anesthetic.

My visits have been very pleasant everyone is very nice and Vanessa my Assistant is wonderful … she even helps me to cool down by fanning me so I can calm down and relax talk about going above her job duties 😊

Every time I talked and ate I was uncomfortable with it because my denture was old then its not fitting on my lower jaw. My amazing journey to a beautiful smile : Part 1... From the first phone call to my latest healing process, the staff at Clear Choice were professional, kind and, overall, fantastic. The facilities are clean and customer friendly. The receptionist greeted me right away and I was seen right on time. The advocate for the process itself was extremely informative and answered all my questions and helped me to get the financing I needed with options to choose from. After that, when I was sure I wanted to go through with it (even though I am terrified of dentist) they were able to also get me in to the 2nd appointment. Since I live quite a distance away, that was a real help on gas and my schedule. Then, I was able to get an appointment about 3 weeks out (which was still better than I was expecting). Since they are a highly specialized service, there was quite a few people who were looking to get the process done. I got to meet the doctor (Dr. Shimizu- who is amazing!) who would be designing my teeth. I explained to her my fear of dental work and she reassured me that they would do everything they could to insure that i would feel no pain during the procedure. There would be some pain after the original procedure, as to be expected, but I would be getting iV sedation which would allow me to sleep during the procedure itself. She also was able to give me a prescription for a relaxant for the night before so that i was able to get some sleep and be well rested. On the day of the surgery, the brought me right in so that i was not sitting in the waiting room, getting more anxious. As promised, during the procedure, I felt nothing. They carefully monitored my breathing during the surgery and when I kept coughing while deeply under, the took my health into consideration and reduced the sedation. I vaguely remember surfacing at the end, but still felt no pain. When they were done with that part, the brought me into a private room with lounge chairs where I could recover while I waited for my temporary bridge to be finished, which took a couple of hours. When that was finished, they brought me back into the surgery room and placed the bridge in my mouth (again- even at that point, I felt no pain). Then the Dr. S came back in and checked everything.They gave me Jello and Pudding to eat while I was waiting since I was not allowed to eat for 8 hours before the surgery. She was not quite happy with the results, so she had me come back a couple of days later when some of the swelling had gone down. On that visit, we looked at the teeth again and neither of us were happy. Instead of her just trying to fix while still in my mouth, she sent the bridge to the lab to have them see what the could do to realign the bridge. They brought me back to the room I was in after the surgery. I was told that the bridge needed to be redone. I was able to wait and get the new bridge that day. It was an incredible difference from the first bridge. The color was perfect and the alignment was spot on. Both of us were extremely happy. On my 10 day follow up visit, they were able to address some of the slight issues I had begun to feel as the swelling went down. They were able to perfect the bite right there. The doctor is a perfectionist (which is exactly what you would want for this kind of procedure) and her assistant Vanessa Valasco was extremely helpful and kind. We made the slight changes and Vanessa explained to me what to expect over the next three months while we waited for the final bridge to be completed. They gave me a professional grade water pick and also explained how to use it when to start doing so. They also went over, again, the soft diet I was expected to follow during the healing process (and even gave me a list of ideas for the foods I could eat). I left there feeling truly cared for and ready for the next step in the process. My fear had left me and I looked forward to working with them again in the future. I felt secure in the fact that they had my best interests at heart.

This was a long process, but well worth it, I’m sure most of this process was due to the pandemic, the entire staff was great and friendly.

The place looks like a good facility, the assistant lady explained everything & answered all my questions.X-ray guys was very pleasant. Once I was done, I sat in the waiting room, didn’t know what was next so I waited more than 10 minutes and the receptionist didn’t say anything until I said somethings so she set me up an appointment for the next step. There is no communication there.

These guys have been fabulous, especially Jenny who’s taken most of my appointments the last few months. I started in feb 2020 - yep, just before the pandemic - with a full upper and lower 4 on 4 zirconia set. Extraction and implants happened in June 2020. The whole team has been professional, helpful, flexible throughout. I’m now just a few weeks from final completion, it wasn’t cheap (over $50k) but I’d recommend Clear Choice wholeheartedly.

Surgery was extremely painful.Its been a year since the procedure,And i cant feel my bottom lip all down my chin is numb.Surgeon tells me all this is normal !Im wondering if it is normal ?Has anyone else experienced this ?

Bottom line: I WOULD DO THIS AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! I have my smile back! No more worrying when I wake up in the morning that I will be in pain from a tooth dying. No more time, money, anxiety, embarrassment, shame, and pain in going to the dentist knowing I could barely afford the root canal, let alone the cap. Everything is covered from start to finish. San Jose office has a wonderful friendly, knowable staff working for perfection for me. Plus, they do the same for each of their patients. The cost is pricey, but smiling is priceless. Well worth it. Once again: In a heartbeat I would do this again!

I called late one day for an urgent concern potentially related to an implant they installed and I was scheduled in first thing the next day. They squeezed me in quickly between other appointments and took care of my concerns completely. The issue turned out to be unrelated to the implant they installed last year but still they did not charge me anything. Im very impressed with them.

The doctors were very good at what they do. Overall I’m happy with the results. I just wish I was given more info before the procedures were done. I was not told that I would not be able to work after the fist 2 surgeries. No pain medication was given to me afterwards. I had to go to my pharmacy to pick it up. With what everything costs I would expect a little more information.

Cleaning service I received this morning with Nubia was so wonderful that I would like to share some of my positive experiences. There were many things she did stand out compare to other hygienists. (1) very thorough with cleaning of the implant area with PERIDEX (2) expert handling of the tools in such a way that it is stress-free (3) go over the problem area for further attention (4)very courteous and friendly in manner.Overall excellent service!

I was in need of implants and viewed a Clear Choice advertisement on TVI called for a appointment and responded to their San Jose Location. It was simple to get to and was impressed with the size of the facility and plenty of parking.I entered and was greeted by the receptionist she had me sit in this large comfortable waiting room. I was escorted to a the exam room then X-Rays with all the latest equipment. All Doctors and staff were great , professional and knowledgeable. I was advised of the cost , I accepted and was directed to the billing where I met with Eileen Taverna. Appointments were made with receptionist Amy. Im very satisfied with the treatment, professionalism and knowledgeable doctors and Friendly staff and a great smile.

The experience was wonderful. The staff made me feel incredibly comfortable and alleviated all of my fears. The prothodontist made sure my teeth and my bite was perfect and the oral surgeon made sure that I slept right through my surgery...not once ounce of pain. I never thought having oral surgery could be so easy! I love my smile! I would recommend ClearChoice to everyone.

When I found Clear Choice, I was suffering from horrible gum disease and failing teeth. They reviewed my case and offered all-on-four solution with both upper and lower bridges. It is now 3+ years hence and I couldnt be happier. Their professional and courteous employees made the difference. I was apprehensive but not overly so and they reassured me every step of the way. The results are astounding! I strongly recommend them for your dental needs especially if you need complete replacements. In my daily business, I am asked often how I was able to keep my teeth in such good condition. I just smile and say continuous hygiene. I know I need a certain procedure done and I went to Clear Choice to get their opinion on it because I know someone who had work done at one of their facilities before. I made an appointment and went down there. Now, I dont drive, so I had to pay for an uber. Upon arrival, I was told that there werent enough consultants available that day and they might be able to fit me in another day. I was so put off by the unprofessionalism and disrespect for me and my time. And then I learned I wouldnt even meet with an actual dentist. How can I trust that a major mouth surgery is going to be done right if I dont even get a proper consultation? I would warn people to stay away and find a real oral surgeon.

I have had dental problems since an accident in my teens. Have spent a lot of time in dentist chairs over the years.I was at the point of making a decision on dentures or dental implants. MORE - UNFORTUNEATELY - ClearChoice WAS unable to repair the fixture failure. 4 _failed_ attempts, the last didnt make 9 days. Sure they could up-sell me for $7K bucks to replace, but the $45K I originally paid 9 years ago ONLY HAD A 5 YEAR WARRANTY!(which I dont remember in the original paper work). Sooo…. the ClearChoice so called Permanent Solution is really --> they remove all your teeth and implant posts and you have no other option if you want to: Smile, Chew your food, and just forget about any CONFIDENCE, ?whens? the next tooth to come out.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ))

Dr. Shimizu, Dr. TJ and all the staff at this office are beyond remarkable. They tool a mess of a mouth and jaw and turned it into a showcase for strong beautiful implants that I could never have imagined. My corrected bite and strong beautiful teeth were only made possible by a professional staff apparently geared to overcoming insurmountable obstacles. In @ 8:00 out by 4:00. Tops & bottoms out. Didnt feel a thing. Next morning took an Ibuprofen and was rip raring ready to go. My boss thinks Im up to something since Im now always smiling. First time I walked in ClearChoice I forgot I was in a dental office. Very professional, from the artwork to the plush carpeting, the furniture and all the surroundings.Dr. Yellich and Dr. Sands: Could not be in better hands! Rafael, who they refer to as the specialist technician working in the back on my set of dentures: A true artist! You owe it to yourself to take advantage of the free consultation and 3D scan. The front desk, the nurses, the lab technicians and the doctors: Truely professionals. Its really the clear choice.

I first visited The Clear Choice in 2017 to get a consultation and learn more about the process after seeing a commercial on TV. Amy, my consultant was great and filled me in, after taking X-Rays, Amy and Gracie advised me my teeth and gums were healthy and advised I may want to opt for individual implants (needed 4) and to fix my teeth that were cracked using vaneer. Their advice,... keep your natural teeth as long as possible. Fast forward almost a year, I had a speaking engagement in the Keys, Florida, after landing in Ft. Lauderdale, I checked into my hotel, it was late, so I ate at the hotel lounge, after ordering tacos I took a bite and broke one of my front four teeth to the gum after the shell got wedged between my teeth. I was stressed beyond belief, and actually used gum when speaking to fill the void, being very self conscious. Once I returned home, I went directly from the airport to The Clear Choice in San Jose on The Alameda. Again, great experience, they created a temp tooth for me as I am constantly in front of people and upon completion scheduled to have the complete procedure done. I had to wait a few weeks, but was fortunate to have one of the staff, Nubia, advise me that a meet and greet was scheduled and invited me to attend and ask questions of the people who had already gone through the procedure. This calmed my nerves with Cookie and John providing real information of what they experienced having gone through, which was what I was about to go through. They nailed it and I was grateful that Nubia had told me about the meet and greet. The big day came, the procedure took about 5 hours with 3 hours in the recovery room. They kept me very comfortable. Yes, there was some discomfort, as expected, but I have been in worse pain after dentist visits and root canals. It blew me away, they removed my teeth and 8 hours after arriving I walked out and had a beautiful set of teeth that looked very natural. I had my confidence back and I could smile big without concern due to chipped and/or visible damaged teeth. The first 4-5 days there was some discomfort, but I followed their instructions and got better every day. After 2 weeks, no more pain meds or even aspirin, I was healing nicely. The most difficult thing for someone like me who loves food, was limiting my diet to soft foods, but the end result will be well worth it and everyone has been great and very supportive. Today, 1 month after the procedure my sutures were removed, Dr. Lee said the gum was healing nicely and I feel very blessed that I made the right decision and I will never need another root canal, crown or filling. I would recommend The Clear Choice to anyone who has lost their confident smile and do not want to endure the pain of multiple visits to repair and/or have to put up with common dentures, the adhesives and associated issues that go along with them. Out of a possible 10, I give The Clear Choice an 11! I look forward to the 3-4 months left before I receive my permanent cubic zirconia teeth and have no limitations on what I can eat.

I was a long time patient of ClearChoice since I got my first implant bridge. Six months ago I had a little accident and unfortunately I needed a new bridge coz the broken one was not as strong as before ( it’s been over 7 years) so I needed to get a new set of teeth. And they’re very helpful explaining to me that zirconia implant bridge is way better than last one I had. It’s way stronger and it will last for years ( of corz with good maintenance in my part 😁). And today I just got my zirconia new set teeth and I love it! I feel great about it and it looks amazingly natural. Thank you so much ClearChoice family! Anybody that has suffered from continuous dental failure throughout their lives knows that it is filled with AGONIZING PAIN & unparalleled financial strain. I have suffered all of my adulthood with multiple abscesses, extractions & restorations, all of which have been physically painful & financially burdensome. I have soft teeth, in other words, I my teeth were weak & I lost most of my enamel at a very young age. The deterioration of my teeth hasnt been due to lack of proper care, Ive flossed & brushed my teeth addictively since I was a young teenager. I saw my dentists on a regular basis for cleanings, x-rays, fillings, etc. I was referred to specialist to specialist with the attempt to slow down the degeneration of my teeth with extractions, root canals, crowns, fillings, etc Ultimately, it did only that, slowed the degeneration & deterioration down but did not stop or reverse it. Ive lost all but 13 of my teeth, with the majority of those being broken. I sought out care by Clear Choice after months of pain, physically & emotionally, because I saw one of their promotions on T.V. They came across as caring. They seemed like they fully understood the suffering that comes along with dental failure. I thought, wow, somewhere that actually really understands, so I scheduled an appointment. I was treated kindly. They were very professional.... Then I got a financial breakdown of what it would cost for me to restore my teeth. 30,000 DOLLARS PER ROW! Basically 60,000 THOUSAND DOLLARS in entirety. 60 THOUSAND!! THAT IS A DOWN PAYMENT ON A HOME! What they get paid compared to the actual labor, time & supplies that would be necessary for them to provide, the profit margin for them is incredible. Its unethical. Its robbery. For those of us who live in desperation, its cruelty​ at its worst. Theyre not about helping anyone, theyre about the profit. The money. The providers are getting paid more than most general surgeons get paid for life saving surgeries. More than ER physicians get for dealing with life & death situations on a daily basis. Ultimately, its saddening.

Would give it -5 stars if I could. This was the worst experience of my life. I first went in for a consultation to see what was available and what the costs would be to fix my lifelong battle with fragile, crooked and discolored teeth. Everyone was very nice and after a lengthy visit it was determined that full upper and lower replacement was the optimum choice. This was not only considering my current dental state but also what challenges I was likely to face in the future. The cost of the procedure would be upward of $40,000. This was a difficult circumstance for my wife and I but after careful consideration we decided to move forward with the process. 40 grand is no small sum and required us to drain our savings, sell some valuable jewelry and borrow $13,000 from the finance company recommended by Clear Choice.On January 7, 2014 I had my final consultation and we took pictures, we made impressions, we picked out new teeth and we went over every detail of the surgery and what was to follow. The surgery was scheduled for February 10, 2014. Keep in mind that this was over a month in between and the only thing I heard from them was confirmation that we were a go on the 10th. The morning of the surgery, after taking time off from work, purchasing all of the medication I had been prescribed and reorganizing my life (as well as my wifes) I arrived at the facility in San Jose. At this point we were taken to a recovery room where my wife could wait and I was taken to the surgical chair for prep. After all the tubes and wires were connected and Im thinking my nightmare was finally about to end the surgeon arrived. Touraj Khalilzadeh, DMD, MD at this timemade his one and only appearance throughout my experience with Clear Choice.He began to talk to me as one would speak to a child who had made a bad judgement and started telling me what a poor decision I was making. At first he made it seem that his vast 32 years of life experience had bestowed so much wisdom upon him that he was far better suited to make decisions for me than I was for myself. As the conversation went on the real truth started coming out.He said to me (I would not make this up) that the advertisements are misleading. That this procedure does NOT last a lifetime and the people in the ads are not indicative of the patients that Clear Choice prefers. He said that most of their clients are in their 70s because they wont live long enough to suffer the consequences when the implants start to go wrong. Never fully explaining what actually happens over time, he told me that because I was in my 40s that he would not perform the surgery out of fear that I would come back in 20 years and sue him for malpractice. He glossed it over with jabber about how my teeth were to healthy and he felt a moral obligation, but his message was very clear.Im posting this as a warning and I hope anyone considering this procedure will learn from my mistake, get advice from a real dentist that you trust and be careful not to be as easily deceived.
