Yesterday I saw the new dentist and she was wonderful! She was super nice and gentle which I appreciate as going to the dentist is my least favorite thing to do. The hygienist was also very kind. Overall a great experience.

I am impressed by the professionalism but very amazing personal relationships of this office. The doctor and the assistants were great. Very busy it seemed but still took their time. I was very content with Yolanda who when approaching me with a treatment and explaining in detail about all the insurance things. was very straight forward yet thorough AND gave me a great impression of her personality which didn’t seem like robotic like most offices when they talk about money. I made sure she wrote her name on my appointment card because I felt very well handed off with my next appointment and wanted to be sure she is noticed. Everything about this office was amazing. And again I state, the office has impressed very much.

The Bright Now! Dental on Curtner Ave has been my dentist option since April. the experience has been efficient. For one, they accept my insurance and do not require to have me pay any out of pocket expenses until they confirm with my insurance what my patient costs will be. They did not force a financing option on me unlike other dental offices I have been too that were supposedly within my network. Their billing manager is very clear about what to expect with the time and costs, so I appreciate that. I will say the claims take weeks to be finalized but fortunately I am still able to get the work I need to get done. The relationships with the actual medical professionals is ordinary, not too friendly or charismatic, they are there to get the job done and move on. The hygienist is who I have come in contact with most and I appreciate her work as she really has made this a smooth process for me. Initially I was nervous since I never grew up going to the dentist consistently, but I am happy to be here now. For reference, I have an HMO dental plan with Cigna.

Music in the lobby is too LOUD & it is warm / hot in there. Seemed a little disorganized-wanted me fill out forms, asked me if I was waiting for someone after i had been checked in. Dentist was nice, explained everything. Took an hour & 45 minutes for an exam & cleaning

My experience with this office has been overall very good. I had contacted them to arrange a dental cleaning. The dentist who performed my exam was quite professional and knowledgeable, and the hygienist did an excellent job. If I hadn’t had to make two separate appointments for the initial exam and the cleaning, and if I hadn’t had to wait almost a month between the two, this would have been a five star review. Overall, a well-run office with skilled staff, though

I’m really disappointed..Since the beginning they start charging me for something they didn’t do until I went to the office and explain them ..so they remove the charges from my account ..but wasn’t the worse.!What really make me mad is when they said my treatment is been completed and I found out I have more cavities and a crown to do after I pointed I have a filing there is more cavities..And thay said ..HO IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ..!Unless we remove the wisdom teeth’s..Way they don’t tell the truth since the beginning..!

These guys are basically scammers. They Over charge you and incorrectly loots money from People. Stay Away from them

Dr. Lu is such an excellent dentist. Very patient, gentle and explains everything. I just am skeptical about the way the front desk charges. They use their own system to charge n not calling my actual insurance for coverage. They tried charging me but when I questioned it they said I was covered.

Thanks to doctor Lu , Doctor Patel , and Scarlett I came on pain because a broken tooth.They relieve me of my pain and the assistant scarlet gave me through explanation of how to take care at home thanks to all the staff of bright now

While The effort of Charlotte looks good on Yelp and Google review, it’s seems to be all for publicity. I have called the main line and left a formal complaint with no response in a week. I have also emailed Charlotte twice with no response.I have serious safety concerns for minors attending this office. The office manager Yuliana who has only been there for a month or so has created her own rules and tries to make people believe it is county or company policy. Parents, do not let her fool you. There is no county policy stating you have to let your minor children go to appointments alone and wait in the car. There is also no company policy that states this either. I have called 3 other offices who informed me this was not a company policy and I would be allowed to accompany my children to their appointments. Yuliana asked that I leave my 5 year old daughter in the office alone while the dentist did her exam. After voicing my concerns and letting her know I was uncomfortable with this she then said I need to be considerate of staff with the rise in numbers. This is also coming from the person who checked us in, didn’t check the temperature of myself or daughter, only my 9 year old, wasn’t paying attention (her words not mine) and allowed me to go back with my older child and then ask me to leave my 5 year old alone with strangers. Where is the patient centered care? Why are you asking to leave children alone that cannot consent to treatments or advocate for themselves? I have been coming here for 4 months and never had a problem being let in with my 9 year old once a month for the orthodontist. This was my 5 year olds first visit with them. According to office staff this is a regular occurrence that they have asked parent of children as young as 4 to leave the kids in the office alone and wait in the car. Completely unacceptable.UpdateI’m convinced Charlotte is an automated response because it is literally the same response verbatim on each negative review. There’s no individuality to the responses aside from changing the name.

Its not easy finding a good dentist who accepts DeltaCare but Dr. Patel and the staff at Bright Now! have exceeded my expectations. I am very glad to have found them.

RUDE AND SO UNREASONABLE AND UNPERSONABLE. They dont let you step foot into the waiting room, and they are easily able to have at least 1 person in the waiting room despite covid restrictions (covid doesnt say no one enters, it specifies a number that can be there). Luckily these are concierge services that you DO NOT need. Find a better place!!

I had my appointment with the orthodontist yesterday, and I was running late. I called the office and told them that I would be late for about 15 minutes or so. The lady on the phone told me that they would probably reschedule my appointment. But I went anyways. I was accommodated that day, and they didnt cancel my appointment. I was very happy about it. Also, the orthodontist at this clinic is very friendly and approachable. I have nothing but high praises for his services.

I want to start by saying that is the best office i ever been too starting by the manager Miriam for going above and beyond to satisfy everyone, staff are great, i had a consultation with Dr. Cheney (orthodontist)and it went well he told me a needed to see general Dentist and Dr.Patel stepped in and took care of my cavities, also her assistant Stephanie was really caring and was asking me if i was okay, i really felt comfortable and in good hands.After i got my braces done and Miriam (Manager) was checking on me, awesome service and staff, i will recommend this office to anyone, thank you for taking care of me Bright Now Dental San Jose.

Worst customer service & make you wait forever.The first time I came here for a visit, I schedule my appointment 4 days before, the lady on the phone even asked me for all the personal details & insurance as well to validate. Then finally on the day my visit, they made me wait for 2 hours, to validate my insurance.Second visit coz of my stupid insurance didn’t change my dental office location. Again made me wait outside for 25 mins and got in.I’ll not recommend this place at all.

I made an appointment as a new patient with the intention of having my teeth cleaned. I set aside 3 hours of my work day to allow ample time for my dental visit. I was not told beforehand that the appointment would only be for x-rays and that Id need to come back for cleaning. They were 15 minutes late to take me for my x-rays and then had me wait afterwards to see if a hygienist was available for cleaning, which they were not.I was presented with a receipt showing a $10 charge for the x-rays and what-would-be $60 charge for when I get the cleaning. I asked them why doesnt my insurance cover this, as my Aetna DMO plan covers 100% of preventative services. They told me the original cost without insurance is higher and this was the remaining cost. I paid the $10 and left.Over a month and a half later I called my insurance, mainly wanting information on how itll work to see a different dentist now that Ive been here recently, and they confirmed I should not have been charged anything for x-rays or cleaning and that I also have no co-pay. Aetna also has no history of this appointment in their system. I called the dental office back and theyre claiming the $10 charge is for COVID PPE and had no explanation for why I was told cleaning would be another $60. They said Id need to pay another $10 for COVID PPE if I came back to have my teeth cleaned. Their posted online hours also dont match their availability.I will be finding another dentist and checking the charges again with my insurance. Avoid.

I would highly recommend this office, been a patient for several years. Have always been taken care of my need ,my original Dr was doctor Borole, when brought back for 6 months check the girl in the back that I’ve seen work there for years since I first came here is very helpful and accommodating told me that I was going to be taking care of by Dr Lu and that I was in good hands and she was right. Not sure why negative comments but not true at all.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place....Ive been getting my teeth cleaned and treated here for the past year. As per the usual, I have tried the best to keep my teeth clean on my own, but eventually have to have tartar buildup and stains removed - which they do a great job of here!I had a crack in one of my upper left teeth, and the dentist was able to fix it efficiently in the most pain-free way possible. He also removed all of my stains from coffee and tea.Ive come back 3-4 times to clean up and finish my treatment, and the dental hygienist does a quick and efficient job of cleaning/polishing my teeth.I plan to keep coming back after every six months to ensure my teeth are in tip-top shape.

Awesome service. Dr.Lou is very accurate and knowledgeable, I had couple crowns and couple fillings done recently- no complaints there. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. They would always remind me of upcoming appointments and squeeze me in their busy schedule when I need something urgent. Overall, an excellent place to make a bright smile 😃.

Always take good care of me. They even caught my cancer that the doctors missed. Im here today because they are through at their job. I highly recommend this office, dentist, specialist and office staff are exceptional

A family of 4 with varied needs, the facility is terrific, many modern equipment, good to see the plastic stickers replaced often, clean. The support desk staff are terrific, the assistants and hygienist amazing. The dentists varied quite a bit however, mine was fantastic as I had major work and found the vendor they used was amazing. But I’m not feeling it for the children’s, appears my spouse’ experience was good with no major work.

Dr. Lu was phenomenal. He was patient and strived for perfection. Very knowledgeable and honest. Cant say enough good things about him! All staff was welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this place!

Been seen Dr Lu for a couple of years, he has taken care of my need, he recommended me to get braces and when I came in here to get a consult with Dr Cheany all the staff was helpful and the assistant Scarlett was very helpful and informative, then another of the assistant places my braces. I’m very happy getting taken care of at every appointment with this office. Everyone is so helpful and curtirse.

Most unprofessional dental clinic I have ever visited. They never take calls, respond to referral requests and dont maintain any records of the patient. The reception is pathetic. Dont be fooled by the Google review rating like I did.

Just had my first appointment with Bright Now Dental. I had made a few calls to different dentists to see about getting an appointment within the next day. I was about to give up when I called Bright Now. They actually put me on hold to check the schedule for cancellations (which none of the 10 dental offices I tried before had done). Lucky for me, they had one the following morning. I arrived and they were ready for me. I didnt have to wait around between services and I was out in a very reasonable amount of time. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and professional. They make you feel very comfortable while you are getting your service done. I would reccomend Bright Now to anyone looking for a dentist.

I’ve heard them talk about my kid, and my kid once told me that the person that checks up on them grabs their cheek very hard, their very rough on my kid DO NOT RECOMMEND. I love Bright Now Dental. Dr Borole is wonderful. She listens and keeps working to find answers to my problems and unique bite. I love that she focuses on prevention and moving forward to keep my teeth and gums healthy for many more years. I would continue to see her even if she wasn’t covered by my insurance. Two thumbs up and definitely 5 shining stars.

Very good experience, Scarlett Soriano is very nice, she welcomed me with a big smile, and helped me with registration, Doctor Mike Lu did my cleaning and it was very friendly, and professional, I really like this place I definitely recommend it.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I had to make an emergency appointment to get my tooth extracted and they got me in within two hours. Upon arriving I was taken immediately. I let the dentist know of my low pain tolerance and she was very sensitive to the fact and did a great job. I dont say this a lot about a visit to the dentist but this one was a pleasant experience.

They got me in quickly and were able to refer me out to an oral surgeon right away. The dentist took a look at my teeth and gave me his opinion of a treatment plan and it was pretty spot on with what I had expected. Looking forward to starting my treatment.

Dr. Le is the best dentist I have ever knew. He is so caring and treats patient heartedly and professionally. I have implants and tissue wrap at his office. It was amazing painless before and after the surgery. I am very content with the new gum after the tissue wrap and looking forward to completing my implants in the next few month. I will definitely recommend him to my family members and friends. I would love to give him 7 stars if possible.

This place just takes your money and tries to get you out the door as fast as they can told me they would set a wisdom teeth removal on monday and they would call before hand to let me know when my appointment be and their closed now still havent got that phone call dont come here

I came here on a Friday afternoon and amid the pandemic I’m glad there were only 3 other patients waiting. They mainly followed their new protocol which was good. I still feel safe just like before at this location. Everyone was cool, too bad they couldn’t really see my smile with the mask on but I do hope they felt my appreciation.

Last October was my first visit here. In my first visit I was told I needed at least 3 procedures done. I was nervous to begin with and the grand total was very high. Sitting in the chair and being told the break down, I was extremely over whelmed!! I wish I would have told them, I need some time to think about this first, instead of proceeding with the work immediately, that day. I spent about 6 hours in the chair and over all it was not a good day for me! Bottom line is this, dont let your nerves make the final decision for you! If the total cost of your visit is way higher than you anticipated, ask for financing options! Get to the dentist regularly to avoid Preventable BS down the road. If you need time to make decisions on your dental work, let them know. This will help you make better decisions and in the comfort of your own home and possibly be able to do some research.

I will admit, I was a little skeptical our first visit. I grew up in a day when your dentist was in some old building no where near a major shopping mall. I will be honest I kind of felt at first like I was at the Jiffy lube of dentistry. After taking my son for his second visit I felt a little more comfortable and most importantly, my son really liked the place. I had a concern about a charge that I spoke with someone up front about and she advised that I contact my insurance to clarify my coverage. After I got home and made that call, before the insurance company even called me back a manager at the Dental office called me to talk over with me about my concern. Needless to say, they where very helpful and accommodating. Thanks Bright Now Dental Staff.

Bright dental in San Jose was amazing every staff member was so professional that Ive ever encountered amazingly kind and courteous and willing to do anything to go to do the service professionally and with passion. I recommend this place to all my friends and family members, me and my daughter ,especially my daughter had the most amazing experience with having to have braces put on. Me as a single father I will always have this experience in my heart to bring my future Self ,kids ,grandkids and anybody that wants to come with me to this highly conscientious professional dentistry and Orthodontics organization . I have been a patient for over 4 years, since early 2013, close to when they opened. I can not thank Dr Cheney and team enough for their help and support throughout my entire orthodontic processDr. Cheney is really kind and knowledgeable in his work. Every visit has always been accompanied by great information to increase my personal knowledge. He has been really patient with me. Thank you!!The assistant are great as well! Seeing them makes the morning great because they actually make an effort to make you smile during the process.Naomi, the office manager, has been really supportive through the process. During any unfortunate circumstances, she was willing to do her best to squeeze you in and accommodate to the patients needs. She has been on top of her work and has been consistent doing so since she came on board.This location has gone through some changes in employees but it has definitely changed for the better. I am truely thankful for them, they are the A team. High recommendations!!

Front Desk Staff is Unfriendly, VERY RIGID, bit of a attitude problem and rude at times. They behave in a way, our way or highway. You dont feel welcome when you work the reception desk staff. They dont even smile. I am better off dealing with a Robot or a chatbot who would probably have more flexibility. That human touch and empathy is missing. They come across more like borderline dictators. They are there just to tell you what all they cant do or how they cant accommodate. Infact their outsourced call center staff is much nicer to work with.The Dentist and their assistant (for X-rays) are rather nicer and sweet to talk to and work with.

As I was traveling, I needed to have a minor procedure done and this was the only dental place that accepted me and did it without any hassle. I previously contacted many other dental places and most of them denied my request saying I have to go to original place where the work was done previously despite the fact that i have to travel back just for this minor procedure.Apart from their passion to help patients, they are very courteous and friendly. I will definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Borole is amazing. The office is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was easily able to book an appointment that worked for my schedule. Dr. Borole is extremely gentle and her hygienist Scarlett puts you at ease if you are nervous. Great office!! I highly recommend.

Waited for a lil over an hour she saw me for 5 min told me I had an abscess and in need of root canal she told her assistant to refer me to specialist it only took her 5 min to check me I was in so much pain she did not give me any medicine for pain or for the infection. Seeing so much good reviews I am shocked. Maybe its just that doctor not sure but I would not recommend

Great place the dentist Dr Borole is the most attentive dentist she actually listens to your problems and take care of it the first time around. I have been in pain for over 2 years after seeing a dentist in evergreen she broke my tooth then proceeded to tell me she could not finish up because she cannot . Leaving me in pain for the past two years. I will definitely recommend this place to all.Dr Barole I thank you with all of my heart. Feeling so much better took 2 years for me to trust a dentist again

I am new to the area and needed to get established with a dentist. After some research, I decided to schedule a visit with Dr. Borole. I was nervous about putting my care in the hands of someone I was not familiar with knowing it might not meet my expectations. After a cleaning and a few procedures, I am completely satisfied with my care. Dr. Borole took time to explain my treatment plan to make sure I understood everything.Also, the first crown that was to be placed was not aesthetically pleasing to me (just a bit dark at top from shadow of metal) so she suggested another material that would not shadow. I had to wait a couple of weeks for new one to be made, but it was worth the wait. I am so thankful that she wanted to make sure I was completely happy. Now I can smile without being self-conscious! Thank you Dr. Borole and staff! I look forward to my future dental needs being met by my new dentist.

I had no hope unless I spend a fortune, but the fees at bright now dental are very reasonable and affordable for all incomes, they will also work with you. Dr. Borole is very caring, compassionate and patient with a desire to make her patients happy with the results. Dr Borole is horrible!!! Awful awful awful. I checked in at 5:05 after driving 45 min w a crying infant to the appointment. After xrays and exam (which there was little delay between), the dentist dr. Borole tells me about my teeth and then proceeds to chart. So I proceed to put my infant to sleep thinking I can do that while she talks to me. Then she tells me I have to come back for my cleaning - its then I realize Im not getting a cleaning today. Shes totally unapologetic and leaves without really trying to make up for it and tells her hr person to deal w me (basically in front of me...rude). They were so unhelpful I could go on and on but this place is a bunch of bs. You can tell this dr is just there for the money.- she tells me she couldnt do the cleaning because everything took longer bc my baby was crying. When I confronted her that my baby crying didnt stop them from completing any procedures she too kbher words back and quickly left the room (dr herself let my baby cry thri the exam even when I tried twice to get her).Oh and was horrible. Dr Borole my husband is a physician and thus is not how you treat people. What goes around comes around.
