I was greatly satisfied during my visit with my cardiologist, Dr. Theodore Chow. He was very thoughtful and listened to my concerns. I had some arterial vascular problems; he promptly ordered three CT exams and answered all of my questions. It was a comforting and relieving experience thanks to Dr. Chow. So I will give 5 Stars.

I saw dr chow to follow up on findings from a work physical. The office staff was great! They were all very kind and friendly. Dr chow listened to why I was there and ordered the appropriate tests. The follow up appointment he explained the findings in detail and answered all my questions. Office is a little old and dated , but everything else was excellent!

I have had intermittent issues with Atrial Fibrillation since I was in my 20s and have had several doctors attempt to manage this for me over the years. Dr. Chow began treating me about a month ago and he has been very attentive. He ordered stress echo and 2 week monitor and was able to quickly determine what triggers my Afib. He has found a medication with no side effects for me that is managing this condition perfectly. Im very grateful to have his expert care and kind treatment.Cardiac conditions require precise tests to determine the triggers and to study the effects that the conditions have on patients. Other reviews are critical of the need for these examinations and tests, the tests are needed for a proper diagnosis.I would highly recommend Dr Chow to anyone.

Took my wifes father to see Dr Chow. Knowing that she would never forgive me if I brought her father to a bad doctor, I researched Dr Chow carefully before making the appointment. Dr Chow is well trained, professional, a good listener, and respectful. He listened carefully and took into consideration what we wanted. Overall a very good experience.

Dr. Chow is an excellent cardiologist!! He listened and answered all my questions. I trust his knowledge and expertise. The staff is caring and proficient. Thank you, Dr. Chow.

Not interested in patient care. Very distant person.Saw my mother-in-law in initial consultation, then defer further care to NP keeping on doing many fancy tests with no results discussed, then refer out to another cardiologist for no reason. When asked about the diagnosis, the office stated to return for another appointment (while patient was being referred out, without knowing why and what during previous visit, which made no sense), and doctor would not call back to original referring physician at doctors request to explain.

I am very impressed with Dr. Chow and his staff. Dr. Chow is an excellent doctor, he is caring and compassionate with my care. The staff is very professional and helpful.

I highly recommend Dr. Chow and his staff! He cares for my father who is 76 years old. He has complicated heart conditions, and is very impressed with Dr. Chows extensive knowledge, and his genuine care for patients.

Be aware of this doctor.I would like to share my experience with doctor Chow during the time visiting him.I passed out in the break room after having a big plate of rice for breakfast.The staffs took me to the ER(I work at the hospital).After doing all the tests in the ER,they did not find anything wrong with my heart.Before sending me home,the doctor in the ER refered me to see my primary doctor in order to clear my driving as they have placed me for not driving because of unexplain passing out.Because my primary doctor was on vacation on the day I visiting him.So,a female substitute doctor refered me to see doctor Chow to clear my driving as she thinks I might have issues with my heart.That was how I connected to doctor Chow.This doctor is not a friendly doctor.His explanation was short,without a treatment plan to tell me what to expect,or giving a full explanation to the patient.He seemed to be targeting on doing as many tests as he could.I had to go through all the testing as he ordered,such as:EKG,stress test,echo test,external monitor 24 a day for 7 days.All my test results came out negative.He still wanted to do more tests.The last 2 tests were:Catheterization,and loop recorder which was implanted into my heart to monitor my heart beat.Before doing the procedure,he stated that it would be implanted for a period of one month.After a month of the procedure,I came back to his office,expecting him to remove the loop recorder.Disappointedly,he now said the device has to be there for 2 years.All my test results came out normal,negative.He did not find anything wrong with my heart.Why does he want me to carry the device 2 years instead of one month as he said before?Each day,Im carrying the pain from this doctor for not being honest to the patient.This doctor has no friendliness,no sympathy,no moral.All he wants is,to order a lot of tests,including unnecessary tests in order to take advantage of the health insurance to fill up his wallet.Please,stay away from this doctor as I did.How many more tests do you want,doctor Chow? Open my heart?I feel so embarrass for Stanford Health Care to have this doctor.THIS DOCTOR DESERVES TO HAVE - STAR FROM ME.THIS KIND OF DOCTOR NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE MEDICAL BOARD,MEDIA,AND THE HEALTH INSURANCE.
