I had a very good experience at Coast Surgery today! From Sandra at reception, to Chris who checked me in. Then Sally who assisted with Dr. Gilbert and my anesthesiologist Dr. Tico. Then Courtney in recovery. The whole staff very friendly and efficient. I give them all 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Everything runs smoothly and efficiently however, I think they need to be more understanding when it comes to kids and family. We had to bring my kids because we didn’t have any other choice. My children and I were with my husband before surgery and the anesthesiologist was giving my husband an IV. My son who is 5 just got a funny look and said he didn’t like it. Seriously, who like shots? My son was not upset or having an issue just made a comment. We were told we had to leave because my son made a comment on how he didn’t like it. What made my son cry was that he couldn’t stay with his dad. It was absolutely uncalled for to kick us out over something like that. If you choose to come here, be aware they are not friendly with kids and families of their patients.

This was my second time having surgery here and both times they made me feel comfortable and continuously asked if there was anything I needed. Brought me warm blankets offered to turn the tv on while I waited and all. After my surgery they provided me with some juice and crackers for a snack and even gave me extra for the road. Appreciate all the workers here.

Very caring. Had to stay over night, they took very good care of me. Would go their again. Thanks girls for making me feel comfortable from beginning to end!!!!

I woke up crying in pain after surgery i am a big guy 62 320 lb. this was my 4ith surgery that i have had in my 33 years. They swapped my RN as well and my anesthesiologist 3 times. So it was really hard to feel comfortable with them. I am still in a lot of pain it has now been 3 hrs after my surgery. My moth was so dry and i felt sick. I will add more to this as time goes on. I am so unhappy its not even funny. i hope at some point 99% of the people that helped me to day and made my life hell for the past few hrs get the same treatment as they were so kind to give me to day. After writing this the PA called me and told me i can not be in so much pain because i was feeling well enough to send this email here to you Julie.
