Amazing front office staff!!! They are so upbeat and friendly. I’ve never seen anything like it in any medical facility. The x-ray technicians are so knowledgeable. They worked with me and my goal to get a specific angle and picture on my spine. They were so nice friendly but most of all so professional !!! I drove an hour to go to this imaging center. I have dozens by my house but this place has the best medical staff and Radologist that read the images. I won’t go anywhere else for sure!!

I had to pay upfront for the MRI but theyve been reviewing a request from my insurance for 3 months. I wish I didnt have to pay upfront because this should have already counted towards my insurance deductible. Hopefully you can learn from me and request to pay once the insurance is processed, if at all possible.

When I read the bad reviews of this facility I didn’t want them to discourage me from getting my X-rays. I needed them quickly and all of my previous experiences at this facility had been positive. As I had suspected, it was great. I got in within 10 minutes, and the technician was funny, made me feel relaxed and got me out of there in 15 minutes. As is usually the case, the only people to write reviews are the ones who are always dissatisfied for one reason or another. Just don’t go during the lunch hour and the wait is fine.

Front office was completely professional. However, Kaylie in the X-Ray department was extremely unprofessional. I have a fractured fibula and I had to unwrap my own splint. Luckily my brother was in there to help me wrap it up. I’m not to sure if it is in her job description to help her patient to wrap and unwrap their injured areas but that is where empathy plays a vital role in the medical field.

Staff there are really nice and professional dont take me wrong but I took my mom today to get an MRI while waiting in the lobby they took my mom from one room had her walk just in her gown open back with all her stuff and walk to another room to the other side of the building with all the patients there. One that is inappropriate to do you cant just ha e a patient walk half way naked in between all other people. Two you dont make the patient feel good my mom was really upset because she advised they did not even put another gown on her to cover her back and lastly dont they have another way of walking with a patient thru another part of the building where there is no one to see you. That is envading personal privacy and it really upset me because no one did nothing. First and last time I come to this horrible facility.

Amber (the receptionist) is awesome and super hysterical 🤣 she is such a pleasure and excellent customer service! Really went above and beyond :) The security guard, Armando, is super kind as well and such a team player! Fantastic staff and facility... Louie...my MRI tech... was incredible and super kind and efficient!

Quick check in on a Saturday appointment. Clean facility and taken in for scan on time. Plenty of free patient parking. Turn into parking lot before passing the building because once you pass it’s a one way street.

By far one of the worst experiences I have ever had getting imaging. The woman who administered the MRI for me (brown hair going gray) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I have severe muscle spasms (which I cannot control) and alerted her of this prior to the start of my imaging and she actually yelled at me several times. I know you are supposed to be still for the imaging but given the fact that I gave her heads up - you would think she would be a bit more kind given that its something I cannot control. I will say there was an incredibly nice older bald man who was an absolute doll. If you must visit this place - I pray that you do not have to deal with the woman I had the pleasure of seeing.

Easy access, free parking.Professional, friendly staff.Comprehensive protocols for Covid19 safety.Clean and quiet waiting area.So grateful for relative quiet, no annoying TV or musak.Electronic systems worked without a hitch, from my doctors order to my walk- in.My X-ray technician did not annoy me by asking me to LAY down, instead of LIE down.Be prepared to show your insurance cards and drivers licenses twice.They will not accept appointments, but the 20 minute wait did not seem unreasonable to me.I have lived in San Diego nearly 40 years with several changes of insurance, so I have visited a great variety of medical services. This company and location is now one of my top choices.

Very very rude the nurse that was doing the CT scan today 12/28/20 1:40pm she made me so upset that Made me cry! She yelled at me. Just because I couldnt hold my breath. which I cant because I have problems, she said get up your wasting my time if you cant do things right dont come here . she was Hispanic with blonde highlight. Im already having hard time with my health she made me feel even worse. I cant believed I paid 240$ pretty much for nothing.

The front desk staff were ok. Not the most friendly but seemed efficient. Covid screening was adequate but again not the best I have seen.MRI techs on the other hand were phenomenal! I wish I caught her name in my sedated state but she was caring and compassionate and really listened to my concerns about my claustrophobia. I appreciated the panic bulb. The wide bore machine is the way to go if you have claustrophobia! It is bright, airy and shorter. They were efficient and got my brain scan done quickly and efficiently! Will definitely be back next time I need an MRI!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! I drove an hour to this location for ultrasound appt. Didnt take long for them to call me in. As I entered the LADY explained what she will be doing, which was take measurements, and then she said, After we can get to the fun stuff. So I noticed that I couldnt even see screen the screen was facing away from me. I tried to turn my neck but it was uncomfortable. I told her I couldnt see. She told me I am just taking measurements then we will get to fun stuff. So I had to stare at wall and ceiling for 35 mins. Then I tried making small talk and she said , I need to concentrate here. RUDE IF YOU ASK ME! After 15 mins in my ultrasound she started to make noises of frustration and even her body language read frustration. She make a comment Your baby moves a whole lot and I cant get pictures I didnt reply. I thought to myself, Are you new? Babys move around didnt you know? Come on lady your getting payed to do this! I was starting to feel irritated by her. Her negative energy was rubbing off on me I just wanted to get up and leave. So at this point the measurements were all done. Then she said lets get to fun stuff. I turn and asked can you turn the screen and she barely turned it. She showed me my babys head and legs and arms. It lasted 5 mins or less then she said all done. Once I got up she said well you are going to need another ultrasound because I couldnt get good pictures of your babys heart. I was thinking are you serious. Must be NEW. Then she said you can get pictures on a website and she said it to me and she mentioned it has a lot of is in it. I left very disappointed. I got in my car called my husband and started crying. Worst experience ever and this is my 3rd pregnancy. This LADY clearly has no passion in what she does. Seems like they hire just anyone. MANAGMENT is to blame mostly. No structure in the way he/ she is running things. DONT COME HERE FOR ULTRASOUND IS YOU WANT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I dont need excuses from you all an apology I feel is needed along with MAJOR changes in the way things are being run here. I dont need to provide the name of the woman who attended me. You all can easily look her up. ADVICE.... START CARING FOR PEOPLE OR HIRE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE.

They do not schedule X-ray imaging. The walk-in only policy results in waits, usually longer than an hour, for routine X-rays. The policy reflects a lack of respect for patients who, particularly during the pandemic, are required to wait for long periods of time where space is limited. Other procedures are routinely scheduled. It would be wise to request your physician to refer to other facilities.

Dr Anderson, Kailey, and the front office were great! Entry to the facility was incredibly organized and COVID precautions made me feel really safe. Everyone took their time explaining what would happen during my time there. I never felt rushed or like I was being an inconvenience even when there was a minor problem in payment with my HSA card. During my test, care was taken to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Thanks again for the service and care you provide, I’d definitely recommend this facility.

Today (May 2019) was my first time at this location and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. As soon as I walked in I was immediately checked in by a young man named Adrian. He was smiling and pleasant and checked me in quickly and efficiently. I was only seated for about 5 minutes when called back for the first of two scans. Both scans were completed within 15 minutes and both techs were also smiling and pleasant. I would recommend this facility to everyone!My husband came for a foot exray on Monday July 22, 2019. He experienced the same great staff as I did. Was able to check in right away and only waited maybe 15 minutes to be seen and was out in 5 minutes. Very efficient caring staff!

Warning! Be cautious of this place They will schedule you and then cancel you one day before your official Oppointment1. They will say your insurance is not accepted there (something that they should have stated in the beginning of scheduling)2. put blame on the insurance on the orders they mistakenly put out and ...3. About what you would expect people are nice but back office a bit of a mess. Took almost an hour for their fax service to present prescription from doctor. In today electronic age makes no sense. So you cant even get on list for x-ray when you are waiting for fax. Had my Dr office send to the local number. That arrived within 10 minutes.

Once you are at the Hillcrest location, its good. Getting in however is such a pain. I have had several referrals sent there. I am told to call after 24 hours to schedule the appointment. Each time I have waited and called, the referral has yet to be reviewed. Once instead of 24 hours it took 2 days before they could schedule it. I just got off the phone before writing this to make an appointment for another referral. Yet again....here we go. They got it yesterday at 9 am. I called today at 9 and it hasnt been reviewed. Was told to call back after 12 and it still isnt ready to schedule. I am so frustrated 😞

When I come to a Imaging Center what do I expect? I dont expect a quick service, it takes time I understand that. I expect the front desk receptionist to be understanding and to be pleasant, and I expect the radiology technician to be caring and empathetic and Im happy to say that I got all of those qualities in this office.

I saw lots of bad reviews about parking and apparently the office has listened you guys.I went to get my x-ray today an as soon as I parked my car officer Chris approached me and said hi, I just want to let you know that parking is free for patients. Please go straight inside the office.Apparently since November they havent charged for parking.I had a great experience to check in and the attendant was greeting everyone that was coming after me.

It was the first time I went to this place, but my experience was very pleasant, at the reception they treated me well and the DR. Spoto and his assistant too. I would recommend this place and this branch without thinking, logically because of the high number of clients it takes, but it is worth it because the attention is good, not treating like a patient more, if not, as a friend, at the same time you reassure and comment on the results, so you can go home quietly, and not wait for your main doctor to send you the results.

I went to this facility on Sunday 3/27/2016 to get an MRI. The facility is remodeled inside and is clean and spacious. My Tech was Tom. He was very patient with me. I have claustrophobia which can lead to panic attacks. Tom was excellent he made me comfortable by putting a washcloth over my eyes which has been shown to help people with my issues. Also, he talked with me through the exam to let me know how long each segment would take. Tom also let my adult son in the room to help me feel comfortable. My medical doctor did also prescribe a mild sedative which helped a little. But Tom is who really helped me through. Thank you Tom and Imaging Healthcare Specialists in Hillcrest. Also Megan, our registration specialist was very accommodating and personal. I was totally given the VIP treatment. I strongly recommend this business.

La Jolla offices Ultra Sound tech is absolutely cruel.On 2 different occasions she continually slammed the instrument onto my inner thigh and breast so hard and then said sarcastically well do you want me to stop well then you need to stop jumping around!Both times I cried and reported her to staff.I feel nothing but pity for poor older people that are afraid to say anything and just submit to the cruel mistreatment she needs out. My breast had been bleeding for two weeks as it had a damaged duct and mass and there was NO pity whatsoever. Shame on you!!! Go work digging ditches!!I had told them after my first horrifying experience to not ever put me with her again. But... oh well... WHO CARES???

I came here because its close to home and I needed to get some ultrasounds done. I called a couple days before my appointment to make sure I didnt have to do anything before. They said no. When I checked in the receptionist were very nice. I took a seat waited over 30 min and then when I was called in, one of the ladies that attended me was VERY RUDE and she was like we are short staff and we are training. Which is not my problem but it’s understandable to be quick just loose the attitude! Gosh lady! You are lucky I didnt get your name! Anyways I would not reccommend this place. And I know that when they read this it will all come down to Insurance talk... yeah we know! But its not about what insurance we have its about treating people the right way! Customer service #1 priority! Receptionist you guys are great!! The rest ZERO stars!

If you have other options avoid this place. It is incredibly dysfunctional. You can tell they tried to set it up well, however you can also tell that they have cut cost at every turn since it was setup. The desk people are nice enough but unprofessional. The waiting room contains 50 people on their phones waiting to be called. I witnessed nearly everytime technicians gently saying names from different corners of the room. No one can hear them they leave thinking the people arent there only to come back 10 minutes later and actually make an effort and find the person sitting 30 feet from them. I could tell this place was just a money making machine. No one there seems to really care or really be involved in healthcare, just the business of it. They make you pay everything upfront Once I was seen it was a quick process though. The main issue was they never sent my results to my doctor, I still have no idea what has happened to them a week after they said they would be ready. My medical condition hasnt resolved yet and Im still waiting on results that could help treat me. Avoid this place if you can. Im sure it does the job for most people but its a really sad statement about the healthcare industry.

BEWAREThis place doesnt look up your co pay amount. They just charge a certain amount and then say it will be figured out and you will be reimbursed the difference after the insurance claim is paid.Sounds like a pretty shady way of doing business. Still waiting for my reimbursement. FYI: The guy that checked me in had a bad attitude. You can tell he hates his job. pretty sad he has to take it out on the customers that question his actions.

I was really nervous to come here for my procedure after reading all the reviews. However, it was a great experience. The front desk was great. The techs and docs were amazing. I was super nervous about getting a big needle shoved into my hip, and they put me at ease. I would definitely recommend.

I was to get xray of my hands.I am disabled senior who has rode w Paratransit to get there last Sat. ....$5.00 EACH WAY! SO, I go in, am basically ignored til I Interrupted lady....and was TOLD THEN that they do NOT do any xray on Saturday!!THEY NEED SOMEHOW TOADVERTISE THIS!!!! I was just told hrs and no appt needed, just as a walk in !!! I could be saved $10.00In transportation!Hands hurt bad now. Bye

2 MRIs over the past 10 months at Hillcrest location. Was NOT charged for parking either time like someone else complained about.They have a lot in back.I had appointments for both & I was in and out in a very appropriate amount of time on both occassions. Every employee was adequate to excellent. Id recommend to friends or family.

Most of the time its a great place...always courteous front staff. The techs great, but as a patient that occasionally cant get to other locations in a time sensitive situation this is the worstplace ever for a mammogram. Ive yet to have a tech that wasnt completely insensitive. From disparaging to are you sure this is the right side? Ive been doing this for almost twenty years and have never seen a scarlike this. If you can go anyplace else I would suggest it. Other than that, 5 stars.

This was my first time at this location. Ive had good experiences at their other locations. First of all, I was surprised to have to pay $5 for parking. When I entered the building it reminded me of the DMV. You stand in line inside the entrance to be called on to a station, then you return a form to another numbered station. The staff was not very friendly.

The earliest appointment available was nearly 2 weeks after my doctor requested the MRI. I booked an appointment for 6:30 a.m. and received a confirmation via text the day before. I then received a voice message (unable to take calls at work) that my appointment had been cancelled. When I called to check on it, I was told that an authorization was needed from the insurance. The insurance assured me this was not true. I then called back and it took over 30 minutes on the phone being passed from department to department before they realized that was correct. Then my appointment had already been taken and they said there was nothing they could do to rectify that. This has been extremely frustrating and I hope others have a better experience.

Horrible customer service. Have been trying for the past 2 days to pay a bill. The #s that are included in the bill are non-functual, and no one answers the phone. A recording that says we pride ourselves in providing efficient customer care plays over and over. The irony is not lost on me.

Check in time was 8am. Arrived at 750 and wasnt checked in until 8:20. Security guard in the front was aggressive and rude. Price was good. Got the CD same day. MRI machines were 3 tesla which is good quality (I believe there are only 40 machines in the USA that are 7 tesla).

They charge $5 for parking. The receptionists are rude and unprofessional. When I was finally called back, the technician was cold and unprofessional as well. Almost as if she hated me. I stated on the paper work that I had a negative reaction to the contrast for the MRI. The technician skipped over that info. She had no idea and was going to give me the contrast. I highly recommend that anyone needing services to seek them elsewhere. Terrible terrible terrible experience!

After reading other reviews I had to share my negative experience with Vanessa R.The pattern is the same. Bad attitude, having a conversation with her coworker as she rudly answered my questions. We as patients would rather not be here or having to deal with someone like her. I just needed some very important services and wanted to be informed before making a $150 co payment​.Imaging healthcare I almost walked out to look for the same services elsewhere. I just didnt want a negative employee to discourage me from keeping my much needed appointment.

Incredibly poor quality. I scheduled my appointment over the phone and asked to have an email sent confirming my appointment, of course nothing was ever sent.Then I arrive 15 minutes early as they told me to in order to fill out paperwork, there was one person in line in front of me waiting to check in, and 4 different receptionists. Yet it took 15 minutes before I was even able to check in, and the receptionist was extremely rude to the woman waiting in front of me. Then it took another THIRTY MINUTES before I was called back. So whats the point of an appointment?Not the best place for professionalism.

Ive had 2 MRIs in the last 7 months. One was painful, scary, and exhausting. The MRI at Imaging Healthcare Specialists on Washington Street was professional, courteous, and respectful. Making the appointment with all the pre-needed information on what to expect then a phone call about the co-pay amount gave me all information ahead of time. Richard, the MRI staff, talked with me during the procedure telling me how much time each banging/clanging would take, then this is the last one. I was comfortable, as could be. I never felt abandoned or suffered. This IS the place for any future testing for me.

What kind of health provider makes you HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING. Not only that but theres 6 opened windows and all the receptionist are joking and laughing(only one lady was working w someone) while people stood in line waiting to be helped. And they pay a parking attendant to sit and make sure you pay. We pay our insurance and our insurance pays these companies A LOT of money and we choose to go to their heath care center and THEY WANT TO CHARGE US FOR PARKING!!!!!?!?!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I certified by the American Board of Radiology and was requesting an exam which I know to be appropriate and had already been approved by my PPO (in an effort to save time and streamline the process). There are no regulatory provisions which prohibit such actions.They then informed me I could just have any other doctor sign it. If I wanted to sign it , I would need to call Corporate. I would avoid this center at all costs, as a physician, researcher, and patient, there are serious red flags at places that want consumers to spend time dealing with the incompetence of their corporate offices regarding such minutia.

They got one star cause I cant go lower than that. I seriously could not figure this place out today. Its year 2018, and the front desk check in process is so slow and inefficient. This check in process is a business case for the Harvard Business Review.The patients, whom, by the way are already sick!, and still must sacrifice their time to come half hour earlier to accommodate the inefficiencies of the place.Its the year 2018, and they have not heard of self-check ins (can you imagine traveling without it), lean six sigma process, or mobile apps.Oh well, after all, this case might be studied in the future as another UBER/LYFT HBR case.

Terrible customer service. They overcharged me by $200 on my credit card. I spoke to four people over the course of a month who all said I would get a refund. Then I got an email for a supervisor that they can not electronically refund my money and I would get a check. After eight weeks I still have not received a refund and I continue to pay interest on that charge.

I go for a $3000 MRI and they still charge $5 for parking?! Also, at 5:40 PM on a Friday I FINALLY received the automated call from them asking me to call the office back to schedule my MRI. When I call right back, Our office closed at 5:30. Please call back during normal business hours.

Was absolutely rude screaming to me to leave that my husband did not need no help at all Im trying to explain and shes still hollering like a mad dog and then when it was my check in time she completely ignored me and was wispering with coworker and laughing sorry service

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. The front desk staff is incredibly rude, the wait is an hour or longer, and they charge $5 for parking. Such a horrible experience. Similar to the DMV.

The people at the reception are very unfriendly, some may be considered rude. The time to be attended by appointment is between 30 to 50 minutes of waiting, for example my 9:30 appointment arriving 9:15, when they call you to a room 10:05. But the service was quality.
