I did acne scar removal treatment, which costed me about $5000, 4 laser resurfacing plus plasma treatment. Its almost same amount of having a cosmetic surgery done. For the cost, the result is not so satisfying. They said, its due to age and genetics after my treatment was finished. So, if you are in your 50s and genetically not so suited for the treatment, I recommend not doing the treatment. I think its better to go see cosmetic surgeon and get it done even if its a bit invasive. I wasted my money. She was professional and really took the time to address my questions and concerns to ensure she was providing me the proper care. The office is always clean and the staff very friendly. I had such a great experience with Kelli. I felt very confident with the treatment because she is a nurse practitioner and was so friendly. She made me feel very comfortable and would ask me throughout the process about pain level to ensure the laser level was not too intense. As for the results, after my first treatment I could tell my hair growth had slowed. I have a few treatments left and am confident that Ill have long lasting results.

When booking your first appointment it’s a very detailed and thorough process by medical professionals to make sure that laser hair removal is right for you. Received my first treatment and the session was painless with the new laser technology. It doesn’t even touch the skin and it blows cool air the entire time. Getting a brazilian wax hurt more than laser removal in my opinion. It’s great that they have this fan/AC blowing out of the nozzle, so I feel the coolness of the fan more than the laser. They’re super quick too, I’m in and out of there in about 15 minutes total.So excited to see my end result :) Wish I would’ve done laser sooner!!!

I originally found South Coast MedSpa 4 years ago. I really wanted laser hair removal for underarms and bikini. I did extensive research to find the right place. All of the reviews were positive so I booked a consultation. The staff were very friendly and answered all of my questions and concerns. The treatment was awesome and I saw amazing results. Life got busy and I waited 4 years to get a touch up. They’ve moved locations since but the clinic is still in pristine condition and makes you feel comfortable being there. So I’ve been having acne since I was 12 yrs old and stopped at the age of 22, 10years of hell I thought I was finally over, sadly it left me with massive mount of scars on my face. This is the sixth year having acne scar and fighting the scars. Trust me I spent so so much money on the treatments, which I did not see much improvement, very tiny bit I can say. My wallet is hurtful after all the disappointing treatments, and it’s hard to trust places say that they can help with acne scars, but I decided to try SCMS, I just finished my first treatment staff told me I could see at least 20% of the improvement, nah I see 60 and 70% I’m so happy, really really happy!!!! If you are now having acne scars, don’t try other place! Trust me!!

I came back to South Coast because they were the most honest and straight forward company. After having a 2nd free consultation a year or more later, I signed up on the spot. They specialize in skin care and laser hair removal. They dont share their office with anyone else. And they use REAL nurses to complete the procedures. Extremely professional, accommodating. And INEXPENSIVE. They remember you, and want the best results for your situation. I am very happy with my results, even after just 3 sessions. First Visit they explain the procedure you are interested in in great detail with power point presentation. Everybody is super nice and professional, i went for laser hair removal been very pleased with the results ( there is some pain depending on body part ) but far less pain than waxing and for me waxing left me with acne like symptoms which Laser hair removal does not.They offer you a numbing cream which i recommend if you are receiving laser hair removal on a sensitive area. I highly recommend them they do a great job of catering to their clients and i wish most of my doctors took this good of care of their patients.

I came to South Coast MedSpa for laser hair removal and acne scar resurfacing treatments. I spoke with Damon to get everything set up. He made sure to give me all the information I needed and walked me through the whole process.He showed me before and after photos and testimonials, so I could really get a sense of what these treatments could do. I loved that they have so many videos of patients getting their treatments. I think its great because there are no surprises. You see exactly whats going to happen, what youll look like post-treatment, etc.I signed up for six laser hair removal treatments. Pain-wise, Im totally fine the majority of the time. Sure, there are areas that are a little more sensitive than others, but they having numbing cream and ice packs that really help for that. The treatments go pretty quickly (less than an hour for full body). I get mine done from Julia. She always makes sure that the machine settings work for me and that I feel comfortable.The areas treated have finer hair and a lot of hairs have already started falling out. I noticed the difference after the first treatment. Really looking forward to the low maintenance this will bring.Jenn handles the front desk and shes always super friendly and awesome. I also did my first treatment for the acne scar removal. I was told that Id notice a difference of 15% reduction or more. I signed up for three treatments and was told Id notice more on the second and third. Ive definitely seen some changes already, so Im excited to see what happens with my other two treatments.

I originally came into South Coast Med Spa because Ive been having issues with scraggly facial hair that developed after years of plucking around my chin, lower cheeks, and jawline.I signed up for a 6 treatment plan spread over about 7-8 months. So far the results have been steadily improving after each visit. My facial hair still comes in...but at a much lesser rate, its also finer and no more scraggilyness!The staff are very nice and I feel real at ease when Im coming in for treatment. They are not pushy about their treatments and seem to genuinely enjoy their work and clients. I am definitely happy with the results so far and have recommended a few interested friends.

Mis advertisement FREE Consultation is not free. It is $50. Also as they said for their time and to insure that I don’t mis appointment. So booked appointment and took time off work. Guess what they called me 1 hour before my appointment and said they fall behind schedule and they have to reschedule for another day. I asked them if you cancel my appointment are you going to pay $50 for my time wasted they said no. Also they said you can go somewhere else if I don’t like it. So I did went to different place. So I don’t recommend this place because of the way they treat their customers. Poor introduction of their business they don’t generate TRUST.

I went to SCMS for acne laser resurfacing. I have tried everything to treat my acne (blue light, proactive, oral antibiotics and other creams from the dermatologist). When I went for my consultation, they gave a great presentation. I had an idea of how the procedure would eliminate my scars. I had my first treatment in December and Ive already received several comments at work. I have 2 more to go and i cant wait see how great my skin will look. Just FYI, the procedures are done at their Newport location because of the machine used. Its an intense procedure, so be sure to weigh your benefits. As far as Im concerned, Im extremely happy with my decision.

Ive had a great experience with SCMS and would highly recommend them to others. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I was skeptical that laser hair removal would really work, but given the affordable price I decided to take the chance. Im so glad I did because it did work! I went through the 6 treatments and though it gets a little painful near the end, its not as bad as waxing. And the pain is even more bearable because you know the hair will not just grow back a few weeks later!

I visited SCMS 2 weeks ago for laser hair removal. My entire experience was excellent. The office staff is friendly, professional, and thorough. The facility is clean, easy to get to, and I dont think I waited more than a total of 5 minutes the whole time I was there. I was asked to fill out a short questionnaire about my skin type in order to ensure I would respond well to the treatment and to ensure I didnt have any skin conditions that would prevent me from having laser hair removal. Erin, the office manager also showed me a brief presentation on the procedure which was informative and made me feel completely comfortable with the procedure. The PA was very professional and the treatment didnt take longer than 10 minutes, there was a tiny bit of discomfort just from the suction of the laser, but on a scale of 0-10 Id rate the pain at a 2. After one treatment, I have already noticed my hair growing back thinner and there is less of it. I would 100% recommend SCMS based off of my experience.

SCMS has met and exceeded my expectations. The staff is super nice and professional and the results have been truly amazing. I chose to do the hair removal on my lower legs and bikini area done, and they included my toes and a one-time spot treatment of my armpits for free. Given all these freebies the overall cost for what I got is comparable or even a bit better than other places I researched.At first, I was really shy and embarrassed to do my bikini area, but the staff have been super supportive and professional, and they always make sure to make me feel comfortable during the process.-- its been great! And I have not had any burn marks or lingering pain at all after each treatment-- a definite sign of their expertise in this field.And its been so nice to NOT worry about having to shave or show my legs and/or go swimming care free! I was very impressed at the dedication of Dr. Jagusch and the staff at South Coast MedSpa. At our consultation, he sat down with me to look at the level of my acne scars and extensively discussed how they would treat it. I felt comfortable under their care and was even confident and impressed that even though another doctor would be doing my treatment, Dr. Jagusch promised hed be in the room with us overseeing the procedure.During the treatment, I remained confident in both doctors and they both constantly updated me on my progress and made sure I was doing okay. Although the treatment was a bit uncomfortable and was painful in some areas, the doctors supported me and gave me encouragement through the entire process.Its now been two weeks since my treatment and I cant believe the results! At my consultation the doctor told me that my first treatment would expect a 40-70% improvement and that my face would continue to heal over the next 6 months to one year. If this is already my result, I cant wait to see myself in the next few months. People in my everyday life have already begun to comment on my face, telling me how smooth, soft, and clear it looks.Ive gone through my entire teenage and adult life being extremely self-conscious about my appearance and since this treatment, its the first time in my life that I FEEL pretty because my face LOOKS more clear. AWESOME overall experience!! The staff at SCMS is AMAZING!! I have had treatments from my waist down and I am now back to have treatments on my entire face. The staff has made me feel so comfortable with every treatment. I always tell the staff Do you know that you are changing lives everyday. I am serious when I say this. I have suffered from excessive hair growth my entire life, having three children hasnt helped with the hair growth either :) I would have to shave my legs everyday, which would them give me terrible razor burn on the back of my legs and bikini area it made me so self-conscious. I honestly couldnt wear shorts, bikinis or dresses. I had finally had enough and though I am going to try out laser hair removal. After calling around I started to realize laser hair removal was just way to expense for this stay at home mom. That was until I found SCMS. They offered me an amazing package deal that I couldnt refuse. I am so thankful for what they have done for me, I dont think they realize how much they have changed my life!!

I went to this laser med spa based on their reviews and staff in general were very nice. But instead of the first consult being with a doctor to evaluate my scarring from shingles I saw the finance person Damon who pretty much quessed at what I needed and sold me treatments, took money down with payments each month with their requirement of waiting one month for the first laser treatment. Had a phone consult with the Doctor who over sees this laser clinic but with his lack of medical knowledge decided I was not eligible for the laser treatment and failed to tell his staff or me and I took time off from work and so did my husband To drive me and provide any after care I might of needed. Drove the hour and a half only to get there and wait an hour before the informed me I could not have the treatment. Very poor communication, wasted my time and money and had a hotel nearby to stay for the first night after treatment. Very disappointed and cant recommend South coast Med Spa.

I had my back and chest treated and my wife had her bikini and legs treated....AND we both got burned in all the areas! When my wife called them to let them know what had happened, they said it was a normal reaction and that it could go away in a few days.First of all, a normal reaction is NOT to get burned!!!! Second, it didnt go away after a few days. Its been 3 weeks and the marks are still there. I really feel like we will have scars from this. We just called them again, and this time, they said this can take a few WEEKS to resolve. When we asked for a follow-up appointment, they said NO and we would have to wait until our next treatment is due in another 4 weeks!NO WAY will we go back there. Im going to file a complaint with our credit card company to get this charge back!

Being middle age you start to see hair growth in areas where you havent seen when one was younger. In my case was the dark chin hairs coming in. So for years I have been thinking of getting those hair removed because I got tired of plucking them. Then when I started to see white chins hairs I knew I need to get to a laser hair treatment place asap and so I found myself at SCMS. I looked into many facilities in my area that offer this service and picked SCMS because of the reviews they received and the coverage area of the laser treatment. I couldnt believe how quick the process is. It takes me longer to drive to the office then the treatment itself.Staff are friendly! Jenn on the front desk greets you with her big smile when you check in. The PA Julia is patient and answers all your questions you might. The room is spotless.Results so far are that I am seeing less and less hair in the treated area. Will do a follow up review when I have done all six treatments.

I did the profractional laser and on my 3rd treatment I had a terrible reaction because they changed the creams. Aquaphor worked better on my skin. 24 hours after the treatment I had itchy skin and big bumps of acne. Its been 2 months and it didnt make my skin look any better but worst because the reaction left dark spots on my face. They made a follow up call and promised to mail a whitening cream but I never received any from the mail. I paid $5000 for the 3 treatments but my face still looks the same and all the marks, dark spots are still on the same spot. $5000 worth of nothing.

My experience at SCMS, from the initial phone call/visit, to the actual procedure (acne scar removal) has been nothing less than stellar. The staff are knowledgeable, personable, and professional. All my questions were answered with patience, respect, and motivation. All steps of the process were communicated efficiently and timely. The procedure itself only took about 20 minutes and the healing time about 7 days. Im very happy with the results. Thank you SCMS!

South Coast Med Spa is the place to go hands down!! If you have darker skin and deal with painful ingrown hairs, this is the place. I had the worst facial hair as a woman and was always tweezing, waxing or shaving. After 6 treatments my face has healed completely and is smooth as a ever. I dont have embarrasing bumps or scars left. This was also very affordable with in home financing and great staff!!

Ok, so I was contemplating laser hair removal for a few years before my boyfriend bought me a gift card for full legs, underarms, brazilian, and happy trail. I could not be happier that Ive started the process. Ive only done 1 treatment so far for each region and Im surprised at how well its working! I literally have to remind myself to shave my underarms because Ive gotten out of the habit of shaving. I have pale skin and dark hair, which is the perfect combination for hair removal. The only downside is that you have to wait 8 weeks before you can go back (normal hair growth cycle)...The staff was super friendly and did a great job letting me know what to expect from the treatments. She explained that it would feel like a vacuum type suction and then warmth and then she started with my thighs (which are the most gentle spot to start with) and did her thing. Even as she talked to me, she was extremely focused on making sure she zapped the whole surface area. I was surprised that the most painful place was my ankles (because theres no fat and they have to use a different type of laser). She gave me an ice pack to numb it before she started the treatment and that helped a lot! Im going to try some pre-treatment numbing cream for my sensitive regions and see how that works. If youve ever been waxed, this is way less painful! My legs were virtually pain free, my underarms, bikini, and happy trail were all iced so there was very little pain.All in all, this place is fantastic and as weird as I felt walking in there the first time, they calmed me down with their professionalism and just down to earth personalities. For a comfortable, painless experience, I definitely recommend south coast med spa.

I have paid for 6 sessions and had three so far. First session was not that good until I asked to change the practitioner for me. Now, since May 6, 2016 I have been trying to book an appintment. I was booked in May 26, 2016, but I have received an email from Hannah one day before my appointment saying that the practitioner will be out the office that day! Why have you booked me then? However, I tried to book another appointment, but never had any time to book for! I decided to devide my full body hair laser remover session, so I could have some areas done and some areas later. Unfourtunatelly, I could not find any appointment at any time! I have no idea why are we paying that much and they only have one room for treatment! Im so disappointed that I regret that I have paid in full for the 6 sessions!

I am so glad that I went to South Coast Med Spa!!! I have had acne scars for years, and ive been so self concious if them. But because of my dark olive complection II was afraid to do anything about it since all of the laser treatments can lead to hyperpigmintation. When I watched all the videos on the South Coast Med Spa website and heard all of the testimonials from clients, I knew I had to schedule for a consult. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! Life changing event! The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. The consult was incredibly informative, and I felt very confident after leaving. The staff is very supportive, and helpful every step of the way. Before the procedure, during, after...they are just fantastic. I have only been in for one session so far, but I can tell you that I am incredibly happy with the results. My scars have already softened quite a bit. I honestly couldnt be happier with the people, the service or the results. I definitely recommend them. And honestly...how much money do we spend on clothes every year. It makes sense that we would invest in our skin. If you have insecurities about acne scars, its worth giving them a call. It really is.
