Alexus Med Spa is outstanding in every way. Monica has tremendously improved the look and feel of my skin and Taylor keeps it looking that way with her incredible facials! Both are genuinely sweet and extremely knowledgeable! The products they suggested (and I now use religiously) have been a game changer. As an added bonus, their facilities are stunning in design! Dr. Alexanders consultation was very thorough and I always appreciate his expertise, patient rapport, and the close personal attention that his gives to every patient. Everyone I know that either works for Dr. Alexander or has been a patient of his , has the highest respect and appreciation for him.

First I had a Halo laser to my face neck and chest.The people were so experienced and knowledgeable.Very calming procedure. And NO PAIN!!!The staff is exceptional.I could tell they were really trying to help me with my concerns.I highly recommend the Halo laser.So effective and really no pain and very short down time.Then Dr Alexander was able to fit me into his busy schedule to help with my turkey neck and jowl line.He fit me in because I told him we were leaving on a cross country trip in our travel trailer.The postop care from his staff was exceptional!!And Dr Alexander told me to call him with any concerns and he would even meet me at the surgicenter on the weekends if necessary.My last facelift with Dr Alexander was in 2012.When I had lost a lot of weight. 70 lbs.It lasted beautifully until winter of 2020, when I lost more weight due to covid.That’s a very long time for a facelift to still be effective.Dr Alexander had told me before my first surgery in 2012 that I would still continue to age normally. Just 10 years behind.So he tells you the truth.I worked as an RN.One morning after I had worked (2) 16 doubles in a row on a weekend, my fellow nurses took a picture of me from a site that tells you how old you LOOK.It showed that I looked 45.I was 64 at the time.Dr Alexander’s skill is amazing. It never looks like a‘facelift’.It looks natural.I just look ‘refreshed’.Gets rid of the haggard look.I highly recommend Dr Alexander and his staff.Don’t settle for ‘cheaper’ procedures.You may be sorely sorry if you do.

My experience at Alexus Surgery Center was nothing short of 10 stars. I know that people in general can be a little nervous going in for surgery; however, everyone here made me feel completely safe and at ease. From the nurses to the anesthesiologist, all were so kind and knowledgeable. I have worked in the industry for 9 years, and have to say, this facility is the most aesthetically pleasing and state of the art location in San Diego. A very nice place to wake up from surgery!

I first saw Dr. Alexander Sr., who had the reputation as the finest surgeon in town, when I was a young woman over thirty years ago. When his son, Dr John Alexander II joined his father, the tradition of excellence continued along with state of the art innovations. There truly is no finer surgeon, surgery facility, or staff. Dr Alexander is an artist yet very conservative in his approach. Most of his nurses and staff have been with him for years. There are many surgeons in town, but for comfort, confidence, integrity, and absolutely natural results there is no surgeon who compares to Dr. Alexander.

I found Dr. Alexander through a referral from my dermatologist. She said she has seen many examples of his excellent work, all looking very natural. Not only is he a perfectionist and an absolute artist, his bedside manner and staff could not have been more comforting and professional. I had a upper and lower blepharoplasty. My eyes have healed beautifully and his follow-up and responsiveness is extraordinary. He offers a comprehensive consultation and after are. He is extremely conservative in his approach. In this entire year no one has ever asked me if I had work done, they just say I look like Ive had a long restful vacation and look very refreshed, what did I do? At 56 years old that is quite the compliment. Went back to him for a Phenol peel and again, an extraordinarily wonderful and professional experience. Plastic Surgery Experience with Dr. John Alexander – Alexander Cosmetic SurgeryI am a 67-year-old Caucasian male who used the services of Dr. John Alexander at Alexander Cosmetic Surgery in February 2018. I received a necklift and lower face lift to remove a large amount of excess skin and to tighten the remaining skin. Over the past year I had lost 65 lbs. through diet and exercise. My health greatly improved but my weight reduction resulted in my neck and lower face having this excessive skin problem.I approached Dr. Alexander for consultation in November 2017 to discuss my problem. He recommended a surgical procedure to reduce and tighten my neck and lower face as my best option. Dr. Alexander stated that my condition was very common, and his practice performs this surgery almost every day. In addition, Dr. Alexander is extremely confident in his abilities and a very communicative person who wants you to understand all aspects of this surgery. When my discussion was finished, I knew that I had chosen the right doctor for my surgery.My surgery date was in February 2018 and the outcome was extremely successful. I was surprised that I only had 1 day of pain after the surgery as I expected a couple of painful days. Also, as Dr. Alexander had described, I did have numbness and tightness around the surgical areas which dissipated over time. The swelling on my face and neck from the surgery went down after 1 week and I could resume work after 2 weeks.In summary, everything that Dr. Alexander told me to expect was correct and there were no surprises.
