I have celiac disease, so I was excited when my family brought me to Paleo Treats while I was visiting the area. I noticed that their vinyl sign hanging over the counter had the FDA gluten-free certification. Its a habit of mine to inquire about the GF nature of anything I put in my mouth because of some justifiable paranoia. The person at the counter informed me that yes, everything is safe, they have people come in all the time who are gluten free, etc. However, they are no longer certified because of the cost of the certification. For me, thats not necessarily a deal-breaker, but it makes me a little wary. I purchased a couple things, then left.I ate the ice cream from the freezer just after leaving, and it was good. I didnt pay close attention to the label, but I felt fine afterwards, meaning there wasnt any gluten in it.When I examined the prepackaged food I purchased a little more closely, I noticed that it had been prepared in a facility that also processes wheat. Typically, thats a red flag. Maybe it was safe, maybe it wasnt. Unfortunately for people like me, its not worth the risk to take that gamble so I threw it away and likely wont be visiting again.

If you are looking for nice gluten free breads you can find it at Paleo Treats. The single sweet desserts in jars are also quite a tasty treat.

I was walking down 30th and in the mood for something sweet. Paleo Treats caught my eye and I went in to look around. The salesman was friendly and helped me narrow down some decisions. I sampled the Bandito, which I ended up buying. Delicious treats and friendly service! I look forward to returning.

Healthy treats and drinks. They have items to make your coffee better, very delightful little peanut butter cup looking gluten free vegan treats. If you have a gluten intolerance, vegan, or have other dietary restrictions I could see this is as a place you HAVE to check out. I’m not exactly in those categories but fully enjoy having variety. I switch up my nut butters, and milks, along with other staple foods so I can appreciate baking WELL with alternative ingredients! They nailed it. The store is run by very friendly, next door neighbor type people who will wave you down just to be nice (although that’s what convinced me to come in finally.) The decor is very upbeat. This place has found quite the niche so let’s support their business during this pandemic, please!!

These Paleo treats are a delicious and healthful dessert. You only need to eat a small amount to feel satisfied. I sampled quite a few and bought the Bandito and Mustang for my sis who is on the Keto diet. I really like the Kick Boy lemon bar because it is nice and tangy. I also like the Rocket because of the rich espresso flavor.

We love this place. Lots of really good treats! The recipes work great if you’re following a keto or paleo diet. Our favorite is the bandito. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

First time in and I went a little treat crazy! Bought their fresh everything loaf of bread with their cashew brie and the tirimasu was delicious! I will be back and highly recommend if you have any gluten, dairy or nut allergies

MASKLESS!!!!Started keto so I was excited to find this place. First time coming in 2/3 employees didnt have a mask on. Makes me wonder how they operate packaging the products. The lady with the mask was really sweet and helpful.Second time was when I determined itd be the last. Didnt even get to fully walk in, saw an older lady behind the register and a customer chatting it up without any masks on.At this point I just dont feel comfortable and see that they have no concerns for the pandemic going on. :C

10/10 I love everything about this place. I will eat their treats for the rest of my life.

This is the BEST Paleo AND Gluten-free place I have found because of their unique combination of treat and nutrition. Not only are their products delicious desserts, but they are loaded with good nutrition, so they can be used as a small meal also. Two of their products, Bandito and Mustang Bar, also have LOW SUGAR, which is so hard to find. Very filling.

First time at Paleo Treats and it did not disappoint!! Got the Brownie Bomb and Bandito and both were delicious. So hard to find good treats when dealing with food allergies, so Im so happy to have a good, local option that hits the spot!

Absolutely the best treats here! I’ve been eating a Whole Foods/ (ketogenic)low-carb diet for a little over a year now and I cannot express how grateful I am for them! They were and still are there for me when I need something sweet or a healthier alternative to a food I’ve cut out. Their staff is awesome, I get a warm welcome without fail every visit. Nik & Lee are very knowledgeable when it comes to what the body wants/needs and various diets. No gimmicks here, just a few people who love what they eat and want to share it with their neighbors ♥️. I totally trust their judgment when it comes to food (ingredients) and brands they carry. Some of my favorites are Bandito, Baller bread, Bub’s MCT Oil powder, Jackie’s Jams, Fire Capt Joe’s Bone Broth, and Stud Muffins. Thank you Paleo Treats!!

I got the ROCKET, an espresso brownie. The top layer was great! I thought they were just going to have sprinkles of espresso pieces on top but it was a thick layer. Very good, even my boyfriend (who hates all things healthy) ate it!

This is a cute little shop that Ive been meaning to walk into for a while now! Inside is filled with interesting article and Taylor was very nice and helpful! We tried some samples of a few of the treats and eventually I ended up going with the kickboy. All of them were delicious and you cant go wrong. They also have a community supported agriculture program where you can pick up farm fresh produce which is always great. Come in and try it out!

Amazing! I usually buy cakes or ice cream loaded with sugar for holidays and special events. I found Paleo Treats in North Park and my family loves them. We dont have any food allergies but we cut out refined sugar from our diets. Its difficult to find baked goods that are a healthy alternative. But bonus points for Paleo Treats if you do have food allergies this is the spot.The Brownie treat and the Coconut treat are our favorites.

Wow! I tried Paleo Treats for the first time last weekend and it did not disappoint. I tried three different treats and each one was amazing. They all tasted so fresh and are made with high quality ingredients. I loved that these are guilt-free desserts with lots of flavor. I will definitely be back to try some more.

Im not on Paleo diet but I would go back for their treats because they are so yummy. They were not too sweet and they uses high quality ingredients. You can taste each ingredient but especially ohh that chocolate. Its heaven. The shop has a good vibe. Cant wait to try other kind!

Real people making real food and it’s real super good. I’ve been buying treats here off and on since froglogic mentioned them probably ten years ago when I was just getting into paleo. Check out the Instagram or stop by the shop and you can see this is not just making a buck off the latest food fad, but people really working to turn their passion into a quality small business (and if real food is a fad, count me in for the rest of my time on earth). THESE ARE SO DELICIOUS. I am a dessert addict and ever since I switched to a Paleo diet, Ive been dessert daydreaming from being deprived of sweet Paleo options. Paleo Treats are just as good as traditional desserts. The only negative here is having to exercise self restraint in not eating the whole bag that I bought. The Rocket is my favorite! Id recommend these treats to anyone, Paleo or not.

Great concept and service. Not many options to choose from, especially for keto. Still had sugars, even though lower than other options. Will be better when more choices are available. Paid $5 for an almond butter and chocolate cup (alittle bigger than a Reeses).

I’ve been a Paleo Treats fan for years. Tasty treats with good ingredients. The Mustang Bar will blow anybody’s mind. Rocket is a new favorite for its coffee!

I sampled the Bandito (almond butter chocolate cup), Rocket (expressionist brownie) and the Mac Attack (coconut cookie) and they were all simply delicious but by far my favorite is the Bandito.What an excellent blend of flavors and creamy texture. It’s rare to find a snack that is both scrumptious and healthy for you! I will be back to sample the other treats as well!

Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised by the amazing desserts here. Im just coming off of my first Whole30 and was looking for a sweet treat that wouldnt send my sugar cravings spiraling, and Paleo Treats is where its at. Everything I sampled was delicious, and the treats I bought were amazing. The Bandito and Rocket are my favorite - Bandito is an almond butter cup and the Rocket is an espresso brownie. Im so happy they do mail orders because Ill definitely be ordering more in the future. These desserts dont taste like health food - theyre just desserts that you can feel good about eating.

My boyfriend and I stopped in last Sunday and ended up getting 5 of their delicious treats. The Mustang bar is my favorite so far but I still have a Mac Attack in the freezer and I am very much looking forward to trying it. My BFs fave is the Bandito. YUM!

Pretty Awesome little shop, I picked up the Mac Attack and the Kick Boy. The Kick Boy didnt even have a chance to have its picture taken before I devoured it! I have been on Keto for a few months and this was a nice treat. A bit of sugar,natural honey, and it didnt knock me out of Keto. The lovely lady behind the counter was cool and informative.

This place is so amazing! I am newly paleo due to an autoimmune disease I have and this place fulfills every sweet tooth I have! The Joy of Paleo - I recently found out that in addition to gluten, Im also allergic to rice. I am so grateful to have found a truly delicious selection of treats that I can eat. These guys rock!!!!

My wife and I heard about Paleo Treats about 3 months ago, and were completely excited to find a snack that didnt require that we spend hours tracking down clean ingredients and complicated cooking instructions. We walked into the store, and had the opportunity to taste samples of all of their offerings (smart marketing move by the way, because they had us at Chocolate). We stood there and argued for 5 minutes over which treat was more delicious. Finally we decided that we couldnt decide, so we just got a whole bunch of everything!Since then, weve been back at least 4 times, and I think our purchases get bigger every trip. We still each have our favorites (Brownie Bomb and Rocket for me, Bandito and Mustang Bar for my wife), but we gladly reorder and devour all of the goodness on the menu. The portion size is just right for an evening snack, and the taste is flipping PHENOMENAL.. And did I mention I dont have to bake it myself?!?

Paleo Treats are decadent, rich and ultimately, an amazing alternative to your store bought and chemically filled products on the shelves. Furthermore, they are both paleo and gluten-free friendly. My top two (although its hard to pick), are the brownie bomb and the mustang bar. The brownie bomb is out of this world. A dense and moist brownie with a slam of chocolatey goodness that would satisfy anyones craving. My favorite part? The Paleo Team, Nik and Lee are fantastic people - and truly care about their customers. Highly recommend to anyone.

I was looking for keto treats on google when I saw that one of the options was this Paleo treat shop! I am not very strict with keto so I buy products as long as they don’t many carbs, sugar or are processed. I occasionally eat honey, so I tried the Bandito treat sample. It was so delicious and moist. It was like a peanut butter cup! I liked that their treats are packaged, too. I am definitely going back!

Love Paleo Treats! The bars are great for anyone, not just paleo enthusiasts. I was first introduced via Petes Paleo meals and now order direct. I love the enthusiastic staff and am glad for the move from Logan to 30th Street.

A little pricey, but when she says that such and such dessert tastes like X (insert samoa, peanut butter cup, etc...) it REALLY does. Worth the price for the quality, but definitely an on occasion treat.

Paleo treats has my favorite neighborhood treats! When Im craving something sweet, but still want to know every ingredient Im eating. They are a good size for the price. I could enjoy a whole one at a time or save some for later! I usually buy a couple at a time, they are easily freezeable.

Love this place! My daughter has Celiac Diease and everything is gluten free! I wish the carbs were a little lower but gluten free is very hard to find and she’s very happy with their choices, so I’m happy!

My husband and I split the bandito, mustang bar, and brownie bomb and they were amazing! The bandito is like a guilt free version of a peanut buttter cup, the mustang bar has such a great crunchy and chewy texture with hints of cinnamon, and the brownie bomb has the flavor and depth of a brownie with the subtle lightness almost of a cake. This place is awesome!

I love these treats their shop is located right around the corner from my house. I eat keto and they are one of the few locally produced treats out their I can have. Love them! My only wish is that they would use maybe monk fruit sweetener and or Stevia as aposed to honey just to lower the carb count? But honestly they are bomb and its not a complaint just a fab request.

Delicious! Its so hard to find bakeries that are paleo/keto friendly. Im super stoked to have one just down the street. Their Mustang Bar is phenomenal. Cant wait to try all of their delicious creations. Its good they are a little bit pricey, otherwise Id be eating mountains of these all the time. So, if youre trying to keep paleo/gluten free/low carb, but dying to satisfy your sweet tooth, this place is a great option.

This is simply the ONLY thing I will eat for dessert. All of the treats, especially, the Bandito is AMAZING!! And not only that, you can find something that will fit your macros no matter what type of diet you are on! I’m currently on Keto and the Bandito, which is like a peanut butter cup, is high in good fats and has about 7 grams of net carbs.Seriously! Go and visit! You will NOT regret!

Ive been meaning to come here but, I never had a chance,since I live in Chula Vista. I got me the Bandido and Brownie bomb. I had to taste both before I got home, so I opened both. I love the combination of almond butter with the chocolate inthe Bandido and the brownie almost never made it home...lol. I almost finished it. They are both very delicious and I could tell the quality of the ingredients in the product.
